Hi everyone! This thread is so big, I can barely keep up!
I am down a pound from yesterday to 153, but I am waiting to see if it sticks. Eating hasn't been as good as yesterday. I haven't been hungry, just want to stuff my face. Probably stress. B: Atkins Shake water/supplements L: small salad, lettuce, tomato, ham, 1/2 oz cheese w/ranch water S: flax muffin ( I feel terrible about this. Was not induction-friendly.) water D: roast chicken, green salad w/evoo & vinegar water Might have a jello later. Dunno yet! So great to see so many friends here! This is so motivating! Hugs to you all!

Mind if I join you?
I' ve been LCing for about a month and only lost 5 lbs. THEN I had company all last week and gained about 3 to 4 back. I've been losing weight so much more slowly than last time I did Atkins. Guess I'm just older now with a slower metabolism. I'm planning on going back on induction in a day or two and I'm so glad you started this thread so i have a place to vent/get encouraged! k |

Gee, I agree with this thread getting hard to keep up with
![]() Had to go to work today (called in to sub) got on here a little while ago and WOW close to 100 posts ![]() Started the morning with: 3 minute (my own adaptation) cake lunch : 1/2 cup of leftover chili soup, small hamburger bunless. supper: 1 cup of chili soup (finally finished with that as lefover) and 1 Nathan hot dog on 1/4 of lc torilla wrap. Couple cups of coffee with Stevia and tbs. of half and half. On break today at work did eat about 1/2 of dark chocolate Lindt bar. Got to plan better and get rid of some of these stallers. Welcome to all ![]() __________ Judy |

The thing I like about this woe, is in my opinion, it's so easy to go back to after we've done the dirty deed! But you know, like I keep saying, we're human and bound to slip. NO beating each other up!! And tomorrow is another day filled with hope!! Quote:
![]() ![]() See, you're getting there and quick too it seems like!!!! Keep up the great work 80's Girl!!!! ![]() That's why I ate the nuts, I had a stress moment and thought it would help calm me down! Well, it made my stomach upset more than anything. I guess that'll teach me huh!! No worries about the flax either!! ![]() Quote:
So you can do it too!!! ![]() I use just olive oil and red wine vinegar, tarragon vinegar or white wine vinegar for my salads and seaon with salt and pepper. Quote:
Of course you can come hang out with us! You can get back on it when you know you're ready. I have one of those slow metabolisms too, at least that's what I think! I lost pretty good when I first started but then after cheats here and there it just wasn't the same. So after doing about 2 weeks on Stillmans quick weight loss, I finally got under 205, but I really missed the fats and veggies. So I thought I'd give Atkins induction a try again!Good to have you here with us!!! We're all going to lose!!!!

![]() Hi again Everyone! I agree with what Diana said!! Welcome back everyone!! We are really getting the post now so ask away any questions you all have. We are just a bunch of great LC gals that want to have fun with Induction. Just wanted to do another quick goodnight before I head to bed. Diana..good for you. Hope you enjoyed it. I have really grown to love my Rev Rolls so I am trying to make up my mind to try them with Cottage Cheese or not tommorow. I always add protein powder to them to make them more like bread also. I did do them with Cream Cheese/Mayo the last time. I might do the Cottage Cheese with the protein powder to see if it will work..1/2 batch to start out. I also got about 2 lbs of Hamburger I fried the other day to do something with tommorow. Dont know if I want to do a pizza or taco salad..Help anyone!! May also make me a cheesecake and let it sit till Sat in the refrigerator. Got alot of cooking to do but Mike is going to be working 12 hours so I will be on and off here all day and evening. Brandon and I did enjoy our evening ...TY ![]() Night and HUGS everyone! Christina Will catch you all on the LC train tommorow! Night all! HUGS Christina |

Boy am I tired! I don't know why, all I do is sit in front of the computer and type. And I just had my coffee!! I want a refund!!
![]() You know what I realized? I know no one wants to cheat, we all want to lose. But when we all confess it, it feels so good to come right out with it. Then to me it seems funny to read what I've eaten. I don't think I'm going to want nuts anymore, because the way I felt afterward, blah! Blech! I'm pretty sure now, I'll be staying away from the nuts!Well Ladies, I hope you all have a great evening!! I pray we can all try to stay on plan tomorrow. Hi My name is Carol
Today is my 4th day of low carb, but tomorrow will actually be my first day of induction. I wasn't very strong starting out & ate veggies other than the very little amount we are allowed on induction. My hunger is decreasing now so tomorrow I am going to be strict.
I have lost 44 lbs this past year by walking & weight watchers, but I have had a hard time sticking with anything since Christmas. I would do ok for a week or so & then binge eat. I always seem to do worse when I know I am not doing what I should be doing. My sugar levels were high, & I felt terrible. I knew the only way to get back on track is low carb. I used to come to this forum often when I lost 53 lbs doing low carb about 5 years ago. When I came back I didn't remember my password & they sent it to me through email. It shows my user name as justame. I don't remember ever using that name. I am sure it was jcclass69. Am I stuck with this user name or is there a way I can change it? menu for today breakfast- veggie omelet with cheese & bacon. lunch _ none Dinner _ chicken sausage on the grill 0 carbs, 1/4 cup or less of sauteed mushrooms, 1/4 cup of asparagus. snack- 1/4 cup of this mixture low fat cream cheese, butter, cream, vanilla, & splenda. I really want to stay away from these kind of snacks. Yesterday I had a root beer float using cream. I want to get away from the artificial sweetners too. sorry this is so long. Especially for a first post. |

Afternoone All,
I had a bad migraine attack last night. I had fish soup for dinner with lotsa raw chili on the side. Drank 2 glass of water before hitting to bed. Woke up feeling less hungry and i do not have any appetite for breakfast or lunch eventhough i have planned my menu. Drinking my 3rd glass of water now. Yet to jump on the scale. I do not feel good 'spiritually', sorta been feeling down. Could it be due to induction? I also can feel the head pounding coming around the corner. Urgh! |

I went to Ikea yesterday with DD and purchase Fazer Rye Crisp. 100% wholegrain Rye. Can i eat this during induction? I left my Essentials Atkins in the car and hope someone can help me out here. TIA.

Good Morning Friends!
Wow, a big WELCOME to all the new gals, so glad to have you here. I am back down to 175 today, so I am pleased. That's 4 pounds since Saturday ![]() My plan for today is: B---already ate it...2 scrambled eggs with 1 chopped scallion and 1 tiny compari tomato, I scrambled them in butter. Along side were 2 delicious slices of bacon, YUM! Lunch and snacks will be 1 Atkins shake, iced T, seltzer water and a lime sf jello. D---Heroin Chix Wings with maybe some salad on the side. I have to leave for work...see you all in a bit! Peace

You don't worry about how long your post is! You say whatever you want to say. Sometimes it helps to just post what's going on so we can go back and reflect on that. So no problem! You did really well on your weight loss!! That's great! Are you still down the 44 lbs? I think you can contact the moderators and ask them about a name change. They may be able to help you on that. I had problems too after Christmas, I just couldn't get my groove back and it seemed like nothing was working for me. You're menu looks good though!! Sometimes cream cheese tends to stall so you can probably see if that happens to you. But you seem to be doing great overall! ![]() Just stick to it as best as you can!! And please feel free to come here anytime you want and say anything you want!!! Quote:
I hope you get to feeling better soon. Sometimes Atkins does that to our appetite, well it's supposed to lessen it. Just eat when you're hungry and continue to drink plenty of water. Yes it's called "induction flu". Some feel whoozy or foggy, but you'll soon get over that within a day or two. Hang in there Samantha!! Quote:
![]() Yeah!!! Molly!!! Whoohoo!!!!![]() ![]() That's awesome!!! I'm so happy for you! Keep it up, you're doing so good! Talk to you soon and Have a great day too!! ![]() Quote:

Good morning everyone!
Hi and Welcome all new members! ![]() ![]() Morning Diana ![]() Boy..do I really feel like I need a caffeine kick this AM! Brandon had a restless night so we didn't sleep much. I got up with a terrible migraine this morning also Samantha. I dont know if its not from enough sleep or Atkins Flu. Usually when I dont sleep my weight goes up so I am really wondering what it is this morning but right now dont have the spirit to get up and go do it!! I need to go and get Brandon to eat this morning and fix me some Rev Rolls..I just dont know rather to do them with my regular Cream Cheese or either do Cottage or Ricotta..help anyone I am wondering also if Cream Cheese is stalling me. I might do a mixture of Cottage and Mayo also...just not awake enough to have my mind working at the present moment. I also have about 2 lbs of Ground chuck I crumbed and cooked up 2 days ago I need to take and do something with...I wanted a pizza..but now I dont know..I might look at Linda Induction recipes for a idea or two later. Will post my weight and menu later this AM. Just wanted to say Good morning and I hope everyone has a wonderful LC day!! Good Morning Christina!
Oh, sorry about you having a migraine too! Owwie!I hope is goes a way soon! I woke up really early myself too, I just couldn't sleep anymore. Why don't you try the cottage or mayo, either one are very good. I have made them both ways and like them both! Oh! And I did try them with ricotta too! I forgot about that that. To me it was no different than using any of the above ingredients. I know cream cheese is a big staller for me. I just bought some ground beef yesterday too. I may do a taco salad and something else with the meat. I don't know what else yet but I'll probably look at LindaSue's website to get some ideas. Well gotta get ready for work! Talk to you all later!!! |

2nd day re-inducting and as I passed the Starbuck's shop on my way to the elevator, I had a moment but.........................I kept walking until I got report on my patients and THEN I returned to Starbuck's BUT I only got a decaffeinated coffee with sugar free hazelnut syrup. Boy, did I want a mocha. But I'm glad I didn't. There was a cheese struesel in the display cabinet that was begging me to buy it and eat every crumb of it but I told it there would be someone else coming along to buy it. It's almost a shame how I had to leave it. But I did. When I went in the break room one of my co-workers left a sock it to me cinnamon cake and a marble struesel cake on the table. After drinking my coffee another co-worker of mimne asked if I wasn't tempted to eat a piece.
What a dumb question! I wanted to yell, "Of course I'm tempted, dummy.", but instead, I just said, "Of course I'm tempted Stephanie and that is why I'm leaving when you leave." Today is grocery shopping day so I'll be preparing my menu for the two-week induction phase. PLEASE, I need help with some legal snacks. Tamekia Have a great LC day! B: 1 scrambled egg,2 link sausages and a small decaff coff with sugar free syrup S: ??? L: Caesar chicken saladw/ Ken's Lite caesar dressing S: ??? D: Grilled bunless cheese stuffed hamburger with lettuce, tomatoe, onion and pickle S: Sugar free jello I'm going to make a batch of cilantro mayonaise to make turkey and ham cilantro wraps for one of my snacks during the upcoming weeks. Later

Good Morning Ladies! Here is a little bit of info about me.
I'm tired of being fat and putting my health at risk.I'm 23 so I don't have any health problems yet. Being 326lbs I'm sure that if I don't change my eating habits and become more active I'm setting myself up for a health issues down the line. This is my first true attempt to lose weight. The fat never bothered me until I was in Macys two weeks and I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and just looked unhealthy, old, and huge. I'm guessing because all of the mirrors in my house only show my face it was a wakeup call to see my fat in all its glory. I have a great husband that's supportive and loves me know matter what. It would be great if I could be healthy for him and our future children. I'm sticking with this lowcarb thing and I know in a few months I will see a big difference. Today's Menu Breakfast 2 scrambled eggs 3 sausages 6 asparagus spears Lunch Taco Salad Snack red, green, and yellow peeper strips with creamy italian dressing Dinner Roasted Chicken 2 cups broccoli Have a great day ladies! ![]() Luz |
