Hi all! I am just now having time to check in today... So sorry about that...I been busy with School things today...also had really bad storms the past 2 days in the evening also..

Weight is back down to 124.5 this morning and TOM came this afternoon...but with the hormone help I went 28 days between TOM's!! Hopefully that and the fertility pill I go on I will get pregnant again on the first try...

Just checking in really quick because its storming here again... Everyone have a great evening...

Hi Everyone

I have had a really bad day, i took my son to the Drs today as he has fungus on his toe nails. The Dr has said they want blood work done for his liver and being diabetic. Which his dad is type 1, and i am type 2. So whats the betting....... As for the liver, toe fungus has something to do with the liver... Has anyone heard of this?

Also, he fell of his bike, bumped his leg, the bruise has gone, but he has like an air bubble under the skin, so the Dr said they want to do a scan and surgery... So poor baby, he was crying. He is 13, but will always be my baby.

He has to fast till the morning for the blood work, so back to the milatary base hospital.

I did not eat good today, but that was only lunch time, but back on plan again now.

aww poor little thing,i wish him better soon.
my step-daughter was diabetic from the age of 13.she's
now 25.

and as for the sound of crickets, they must be the ones from my house
that i feed my lizards lol, tumbleweeds are from my garden
been busy keeping my other daughter eating,as she needs
the strength after having a baby.

and as for me..............i can fit into my new dress
it's still a little close fitting around the chest area,however i couldn't
even do the zip up at the back when i first bought it,so i'm
very pleased about that, and i'm a couple more pound down.i hope you all have a wonderfull day

insulin topic i was dxd in Feb with type 2. I am on metformin, 500 mg twice a day. I also am on synthroid 75mcg once in the morn. I have been doing lc for over a month now. Official weight loss is only six pounds, then three back with no change in diet. I work out almost daily. Is the meds the culprit for no loss? I am at a standstill. Although LC is great for lowering glucose levels. He did put me on glipizide but I do not take it now. Doing lc and metformin keep me in good range. Any ideas why I cant lose? thanks. I did a lot of reading of the topics of high insulin. Very interesting. I also read the link on the metformin.

Thanks. I will keep on keeping on. LOL. For weight loss I am at a loss. For low blood glucose levels, low carb is the way to go. I have proven that to myself. Now for this wieght...... thanks again.

Hi Ladies,
Do any of you have tasty, easy meatball recipe? I need something for Saturday. Man, I can't have a lazy weekend! My family always have to do something now every weekend it seems.

I just bought a big thing of ground beef and thought the easiest appetizer would be a meatball one.

Thanks!!

Got more test results... DHEA and vit D are mildly difficient... more evidence of adrenal issues.

Working on getting the rest of my GTT (they only gave me some of the numbers for some reason) but I found out that I am out of range even on a very GENEROUS "normal" range.... this says <17 and anything >10 indicates IR from what I am reading on-line. Mine is 28.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Sue. I am too new here to have "met" her, but she sounds like a wonderful person.

I will light a candle for her, and keep you and her family in my prayers.
