Good Morning!

Well, as for the STEVIA, I have read that the liquid was better than the other forms. I think on the Netrition site or similar page, there was a few comments about that version not being bitter or any funny after taste too. I may just take that plunge and buy some.

I've not heard of that Lo Han Guo so I will have to look into that some. Wow! I never thought there were so many other alternatives to look for ! It's that phenalaline in the sugar free stuff i'm allergic to and it seemed like plain ol' sugar was all i was stuck with! I'm going to have to do some research on this other stuff now too and try it out! Thanks Tusc for the info!

I'm ready to start on an exercise program now. I had ordered one of the Tae Bo cd's (because I had a GC to use up) so I'm waiting on that to come in. Maybe start back on my yoga again too. I am so outta shape!! I have a lot to loose!

I'll check back in later today. Have a great OP day!

Hi Jen! Good Morning!
I've heard the liquid stevia is good. I'd go ahead and try it! I may order that as well. I need to place and order with netrition myself.

I'm off to do some exercise too after my coffee.

See ya here later!!

The Quarantine Diet

A man returns from Africa and is feeling very ill. He goes to see his doctor, and is immediately rushed to the Hospital, to undergo a barrage of tests.

The man wakes up after the tests in a private room at the hospital, and the phone by his bed rings.

"This is your doctor. We've had the results back from your tests and we've found you have an extremely nasty virus, which is extremely contagious!"

"Oh my gosh," cried the man, "What are you going to do, doctor?"

"Well we're going to put you on a diet of pizzas, pancakes, and pitta bread."

"Will that cure me?" asked the man.

The doctor replied, "Well no, but...it's the only food we can get under the door."

See ya later!!! Have a blessed day!!!

Mary, just wanted to share that I laughed so much when I read your Anniversary/Scale joke that my DH came into the office to see what was so funny...He ROARED over it. Said it set his day up right! Thanks for sharing these...they are a wonderful way to stop for a moment and chuckle!

Good morning Ladies!

Start off..we had a good time yesterday for our anniversary. We ate a Ruby Tuesday..food was really good but it was 50.00 for the 3 of us!! Guess we wont be doing that but one time a year!! LOL I stayed on my LC and ate Crab cake and Sirloin combo with Broccoli and Mashed Cauliflower (9 carbs total) along with a Salad off the Salad bar with Ranch Dressing (around 5 carbs) For Breakfast I had 1 sausage pattie and for lunch one plan hamburger so my carbs would not go over 20 for the day.

Scale is staying the same at 138.5. This SHOULD be my last day of TOM so we will see if I have a weight loss tommorow.

On one good side to yesterday we found out we have sold his moms and dad house!! They died over a year ago and left us with a huge debt to pay. Once we get the contract I dont know how long it will take but we will be able to pay off the mortgage and all our debts expect for our house and put away enough money to invest some for us and Brandon!! We only have to split the money with his sister so that is great for us too..to be almost debt free nowadays with all that is happening is a Blessing from GOD!!

Well..my darn appt got canceled again! He is sick and it will next Wed before I will be able to get back in to see him. I am going to try a trick to see if will help with my back pain. I am going to go get the stuff this afternoon so pray it works!

I have now got to go and buy me 2 dresses!! I was hoping to wait to finish getting my weight off but now my husband uncle has died and we have a funeral to go to. It will be in a couple of days and I dont have much time at all to get ready for it. I am petite and I am hoping I can find something reasonable at Walmart to wear.

IF Brandon sleeps today I am going to start walking again on my treadmill..just 30 min but I am not wanting to cause myself anymore pain if I can help it. I just need to do something...I get SO bored just sitting in this house..I would love to take Brandon and go and see if I can find me 2 dresses but he is such a handful that is hard to do with his age... Mike wont be home till after 5 and by the time we eat supper it will late before we even get to leave!
Oh well..maybe it will work out somehow...

I will catch you all later...HUGS
Christina

Good Morning Lovely ladies!!!

Tuscany and Sweet dynasty and Kenadee
Tuscany I noticed you are from Indiana whereabouts?

Congrats Mary on the 1 1/2 pounds that is awesome!!!

Diana Good for you working out! I KNOW that will get those pounds off for you. You are always so sweet and uplifting..I love reading your posts. thank you

Christina I know what a relief that has to be to have sold the house. Especially in this housing market. Hope your back remedy helps...if it does please share my hubby has back issues.

Jamie Enjoy your time off! I am sooo impressed you didn't give in to the popcorn at the movies. I have actually been avoiding going to the movies just because of the popcorn. When I was on maitenece before I could eat popcorn 3 times a week and not gain. But now that I am starting over I have to wait and it is my biggest temptation.

Ok here is my menu today
B cottage cheese and one egg
L subway sandwich (no bread)
D Eggs scrambled with leftover smoked sausage and green pepper

Now it is off to the grocery store...then take the dog for a walk...she seems bored

It's not Tuesday A.m. anymore, but I just finished reading this thread!

I'm glad you all liked the stevia idea. I can't have the main two AF's so this is working for me and doesn't knock me out of ketosis.

I'm in Indianapolis, Chris! Just found out I'm not very far at all from Tamara, too!

So far this morning, I had a 3-egg Cream in English Toffee, with one packet SteviaPlus and 10 drops English Toffee liquid stevia. My kids wanted to taste it, so my 11 yo DS and 3 yo DD split a second one (good for them!).

Lunch: leftover Chicken Paprikash from last night, with a little leftover fauxtato salad.

Dinner: Apple Cider Porkroast with more leftover fauxtato salad, or, if it's gone by then, broccoli-cauliflower with browned butter and parmesan.

If I feel like a snack, I might mix up a little vanilla Designer Whey with a couple of T of cream. I chill it and it's like soft serve! But I don't know that I'll feel like snacking; I usually don't if I have lunch.

I had lunch at the Olive Garden on Sunday due to a major family party (DH's uncle turning 70). I had Stuffed Chicken Marsala and the salad and broccoli. I know there is a touch of sugar in their salad dressing and there may have been a bit of starch in the stuffing, but I only bloated 2 lbs. Got one of it off yesterday but I'm still up 1 lb. from Sunday morning. BUT I'm 2" smaller than last Tuesday in the waist!

We've been dealing with a failing transmission in our car this month, after our van died in January and has been resisting attempts at a fix. We are buying my parents' used car tomorrow!!! And then hopefully this weekend we'll drop a new transmission in what was our "new" car, and then get the van diagnosed to see if we want to keep it.

But my parents are coming, and I have to clean. We've had a really busy winter made even more busy by me having to be everyone's chauffeur. When we did have a running car I was rarely home, so I need to be doing some major spring cleaning! I'm hampered by what I suspect is a greenstick fracture of my thumb. I swung my arm and accidentally hit the extra refrigerator that was then sitting in our kitchen as we swapped the old one for a new one, back in November. It's been hurting ever since, and today is stiff and swollen. I can type with little pain but doing anything that involves grasping something or twisting something hurts.

And I was VERY pleased that my 11 yo DS got up today and promptly did most of his schoolwork. Now if he'd just do his chores too...

Hey Diana
They do..and if you go to there website you can look at the carb counts on there food. Really good..Yes...It will be about a month or so till its finally but I hope buy June or July we will have all our debts taken care of.

I went to BonsWorth store today and got me 2 dress outfits. I have not had anything like that since my loss. I was able to get Smalls in the tops and med petites in the skirts..it feel really great to do that. That was my walking for today...my back is really hurting this afternoon. I might go for slow walk while Brandon sleeps just for 30 min. We have had many showers and very cool here in SW Va today and I know that is the reason my back is hurting still.

Ok..here is my menu for today. Just too much going on to fix my fish..I will try to fix it tomorrow if I have time.

B-2 cakes of Sausage 2 Eggs 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese and 2 TBS of Heavy cream mixed together in the skillet till done. Green Tea also.

L- Just now got to eat and it 3:00PM here! 2 sausage cakes and 1 piece of bacon along with Green Tea

S- Will be leftover pork or LC Meat Loaf with Cauliflower/Broccoli Bake with Salad around 5 or 6pm

Later everyone and HUGS

Good Afternoon LC Friends,

I've had computer problems all day.. I could throw it out the window..grrr. NOOOO wait a minute if , I do that it'd be like shooting my own self in the foot. I couldn't chat w/my LCF's.

However, if a man made it !!!!! It's bound to tare up..I always say if it has tire's , or testicles look out trouble is on the way.. it's just a matter of time. lol ( if there are any men lurking ) < I'm ducking >

On a brighter note I am down 4 sticks of butter = 1 lb.

Christina what are sausage cakes. Is it like a sausage patties.

Diana, the only thing I saw about your breakfast well not counting the 4 eggs < ducking >..lol. was you didn't even eat 1/2 serving of canadian bacon. I thought it was like 22 slice's for a serving.
If you are starving then have 2 eggs and 2 egg whites. you have tons of protein , and less calories. that is if you are trying to stay in a certain rage for calories....and a serving of canadin bacon . I know I'm being bossy..you can tell me to hush..lol.

Mary, w2g on the weight loss . also, keep the jokes coming. it makes our day.

Jamie, w2g on no popcorn. I never got into the habit of eating popcorn at the movies. I like to go to dinner afterwards.

For back problems my DH has trouble with his.. His middle name is Thomas . He lives up to it. He doubts everything. He should have been born in the show me State..lol. One night he was watching TV and a commercial came on about back pain and it is called TruBack.
I think it can be found on TruBack.com
he told me to order it for him. I was shocked .he never has done that. Low and behold that thing works. He's not been to the chiropractor sp ? in I don't know when .He was going weekly. In a month's time that thing payed for its self. He only uses it now as needed.

Welcome to all our new LC friends.

my menu

B- peanut butter w/ SF jam on Lavish bread 2 homemade sausage patties, coffee

L- LC tortilla made w/ left over steak /onions and cheese, a small side salad. diet Pepsi

D- Fish dredged in soy flour mixed with almond meal ,and spices, then fried, coleslaw, faux mashed taters using cauliflower , tea

have a good evening everyone ,

Rachel

Hi Friends!

I FINISHED the Mudroom!! That makes the kitchen and mudroom completely organized and cleaned so far! If I can get the Dining room, Living room and our bedroom done before vacation is over, I will feel on top of the world! This switching over seasons is a real drag!

Eating on plan, already had 75 ounces of water and will have to count the cleaning as exercise today

I am on my way out the door to pick up DS1 from baseball practice and get myself to church choir practice. I will be sure to check in later.

Hugs and NO CHEATING dear friends!

Good evening everyone! Have you missed me...

Well, I had a protein drink for breakfast and a salad w/sliced chicken for lunch. Dinner was really light....spaghetti squash. Woohoo!!! Wasn't very hungry.
Did my workout on the Total Gym and might go for a walk later.

Right now I'm trying to write while my cat, Sadie, nips at my leg because she wants to play fetch. She's so funny. For those of you who might have missed it just go to youtube.com and type in ladychurchill and then click on the video "Sadie playing fetch".

Well, tomorrow is hump day. It used to have a whole different meaning when I was working but now it's just another same ole same ole day. I think I've run out of ways to clean house

You're funny!
You don't have to hush!!! Tell me, tell me!!!
I will definately give those eggs a go! I need to feel satisfied, so I'm wondering also, if I need to add fat back in my woe. That's another thing! If I'm doing Stillmans which calls out for lean and no fats, that could be my problem. So I think with me exercising, I could go ahead and add the fat back.

Oh and Rachel, WTG on the 1lb down!!! Awesome!!!

What would this place be without you and Mary making us laugh!!!

Jaimie! Way to go on the Mudd room! And cleaning in general! Oh I forgot to give you a for not eating popcorn at the movies!! whoohoo!!! You are doing so great Jaimie, keep up the good work!!!
Have fun at choir pratice too!

Hi Ladies, I was looking for a recipe for mushrooms. I was on the Foodnetwork and I saw this. I believe it's can be done without the sauce, or you can be sparing on the sauce. It just looked really good to me!

Here it is:

Hi Ladies,

My dinner was de-lish. Ii was very filling. I don't snack much. I'd rather eat a little more at each meal. Not everyday is like that. Sometimes I do have a snack attack. I try to have protein for a snack instead of junk. I do fall under the wagon once in awhile.

For those that I told a about tru back..It's True Back.

True Back - Relief of back pain, back aches, stress, tension, spasm, sciatica, headaches with Trueback it is much cheaper to buy it off of ebay.

Hi Rachel!

I had to go back and look at your menu. It do sound good! How did you make your faux mashed potatoes?

I made some salmon and fried mushrooms for dinner with a small side lettuce salad. I didn't expect to eat the mushrooms and it's not on my plan but I needed to eat them up.

What are you up too?

Hi Mary, that was a funny one! You know, everytime you post a funny, I think oh that's a funny one. But then you top the one before!
I had to contain myself so I wouldn't laugh out loud while DH is watching tv.
I'll check out your Sadie too!
Have a great evening too!!

Sure thing! FYI, NuNaturals is the ONLY Stevia I've ever liked - ALL other brands have had a bitter aftertaste to me. And they have a Zero Carb version! NuNaturals

Blessed Wednesday Everyone!

Stayed completely on plan yesterday, got tons of water in...almost 95 ounces! I added CO back into my menu yesterday too. I am only down a few ounces, but that is better than the alternative

The cleaning plan for today is our Dining Room...big project! I have a few other errands and things planned, so if I get through it, great, if not, whatever I get done will be better than it is right now!

Helpful Hint for Today (I hope I can listen to my own advice...)

Try to work through the "dieters panic response". Because I have had problems lately with the scale completely stalled out...I get very sad in the morning after I weigh, then it leads to the old mentality that I should restrict my eating because the scale isn't moving...BUT, that is not how Atkins works. We need to eat the right things to keep our metabolisms running and working for us. Need to work on this myself today

Wow, that's a good tip for today Livy! I hope I can keep that in mind! It's bright and sunny today out but I feel cool, so I am putting on a light sweater for work. It tends to get cold there too becuase of people cranking the A/C all ready!

breakfast today was: half grilled ckn brst, 1 string cheese and 6 olives.
lunch I plan on taking a chef salad
dinner will be late tonight becuase daughter has something going on, so maybe pizza. they get the frozen and i may try to whip up the recipe i saw on here http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...-included.html

i need to make more boiled eggs.

my ketostix came in mail yesterday and i'm showing moderate level. how often do u guys use yours??? i only plan on maybe once a week or when in question of my stage.
