I love ground beef! I buy it every week and bbq patties with it to have during the week and slather it with mayo!

But now, I need to think of something else. I think I'm going to start eating more fish. So that will be my favorite food for the week!!

Good Morning Ladies!

How is everyone doing!! I hope you all will see some losses this week or weekend!

I didn't eat a whole lot yesterday. With TOM cramps I was in the mood ofr chocolate and ate 3 Atkins chocolate bars yesterday. I managed to lose a lb! So I'm at 203 now!! I'm just going to wait before I change my weight to make sure it sticks. I've down this road before and I go up and down!

So today is my short day at work. I'll be busy during the afternoon and may not be here until later in the day. But continue on with the support here okay!! You Ladies are so wonderful!!

Here's my menu, hopefully, lol!

B-hamburger on a rev roll, I think.
L- I think I'll have tuna
D- Ugh, I don't know. Right now I don't have an appeitite! How unusal! LOL!!
I guess I'll play it by ear.

Ladies I'll talk to you soon!!

Love ya's!!

Good morning to the LC Ladies this AM!

I hope everyone weekend is going to be good. With my anniversary being on Monday(11 years) I might not be on here alot again till Tuesday. My DH works off of Midnight this AM and dont go back till Next Tuesday daytime shift.

I am at the same weight of 138.5 this am. This is my 3rd day of TOM and I am still one big mess this AM. I wish I would start going thru the change so these darn hard TOMs would end!

Glad to see you lost a pound Diana...I am not going to claim mine either till TOM is over. I crave Chocolate SO bad during my TOM but I have only gave in for a small piece yesterday.

Here is my menu..May change I really dont know yet.
Weight 138.5
B-2 slices of Bacon, 1 sausage pattie and 2 eggs
L-Hamburger and Cottage Cheese..maybe on Rev Roll..dont know yet
S-Leftover Pork again..or maybe a piece of fish..or maybe a steak..lol Brussels Sprouts and Salad.
S- LC Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake if I get to craving it again

Everyone have a great LC day!

Happy Fat Burning Friday!!

Love all the advice and great recipes, Thanks

I am doing well, and down a half a pound this morning...not much, but I will take it.

I can't wait for 2pm to arrive...Spring Vacation begins! I get the week off from both of my jobs!! It's a much anticipated week.

I made the most delicious scrambled eggs this morning...2 eggs, 1 thin slice of prociutto ham diced, 1 oz of goat cheese with herbs...all scrambled in a pan with butter!! So yummy

Good morning ladies!!!

I'm not sure if any of you know but Lipton has some new flavored teas out that have zero carbs. They are Mandarin Orange, Bavarian Wild Berry and Vanilla Caramel Truffle. I bought all three but have only tried the Mandarin Orange so far. They all sound delicious.

For breakfast I beat two eggs in a bowl, added some green, red and yellow peppers and popped in the microwave. Added a little salsa on top. No fuss, no muss. Have no idea what I'm doing for the rest of the day. I just kind of wing it

Thanks!! HUGS
We are not going to do anything special but go out to Ruby Tuesday Monday for our Anniversary. I really wanted to do something nice but with the cost of everything and having Brandon we cannot go anywhere at this present time. Our Gas went up to 3.40 a gallon this morning!! WOW What are people going to do?

I am SO BORED with food right now. I ended up fixing me hamburger scrambled up with 2 eggs, a little hot sauce, 1 TBS of Heavy Cream and a little cheddar cheese mixed all together and fried in my skillet..not bad!I have not been eating heavy cream or cheese and I hope it dont give me a gain tommorow. I just feel SO whipped out today..no energy..just dragging...sure hope that after my TOM things on the scale start moving again! Cant you all tell I am just plain Bored today!!

Its suppose to be 80 today so this afternoon I think I will take my son and we will go and play out in the yard.

Thanks again and I hope you all have a great LC weekend!

Mary...The Teas look so good..do they have any hidden sugars in them? When you have a chance can you list the ingredients so we can have a look at them. If they are ok then I am going to have to try to find them to try them!

I am not doing strict Stillman...I discovered Atkins bars and Russel Stover. But I'm doing pretty much LC. At this rate it will take forever to lost the weight I gained rapidly in the past week.

Christina - Here are the ingredients for the teas. I have no idea what the amounts are but here they are:

Vanilla Caramel Truffle: Black tea, caramel powder, corn starch, natural flavor, sunflower lecithin

Bavarian Wild Berry: Black tea, dried apples, rose hip peel, dried fruit pieces (blackberry, black currant, blueberry, raspberry), chicory root, cinnamon bark, licorice root, ginger root, modified corn starch, natural flavor, orange peel

Mandarin Orange: Green tea, dried fruit pieces (apricot, peach, mango), modified corn starch, natural flavor, sugar

I haven't tried the other two yet but I'm sure I will in the next couple of days.

I decided that I'm going to weigh myself once a week instead of everyday. I think the daily thing just drives me crazy

I'll be back!

Hi Mary,

If these teas taste wonderful and don't stall your loss...that's great. For me, I can't have any type of corn syrup...it totally sets off cravings.

I'm sure, like with lots of things, it is completely a personal thing, what our own bodies can tolerate.

Mary, your generous heart and wit are becoming the high point of the day at work, THANKS!!

Yes..Jaimie is right...Nothing with Corn Syrup can be used in induction or LC...that was what I was afraid of.. I cannot even look at stuff like that because it will make my Blood Sugar rise!! Personal choice of course my friend.

Yes..you do highlight my day also Mary!

It's corn "starch" not syrup. I don't think they're the same. Of course, I could be wrong...NO...I'm never wrong

You can check it out but I'm pretty sure that they are two different things.

They are what you call hidden carbs... if they are under 1 carb sugar per serving they dont have to list it on their packaging just in the ingredients list. If you look at most packaging there is hidden carbs in most processed foods..that is the reason fresh is best on most cases of LC foods! That is the reason I usually count eat serving 1 carb or not even if its says 0 carbs!

HI Rena My brother and sister in law used to live in Leeseburg!! I am in Wytheville, Va if you know where that is. About 1 1/2 hours from Bristol, VA.

HI TRISH, Welcome! If you are doing Atkins Inductions shakes are not allowed and you should be under 20 g carbs per day, not 30. Have you read any of his books? I STRONGLY recommend reading one of his books to guide you through induction. Also, then you'll have answers for all of OUR questions! lol.

SO, My new DaVincis arrived yesterday! Yay. and my Biotin and CO from netrition. I got three flavors and by far my favorite is peppermint patty. Its mint CHOCOLATE flavor. Had it in my coffee this am and it was delish.

I had a good clean eating day yesterday and feel better today. My totals for yesterday were:
Totals cal-1829 fat-123 carb-18 protein-156

Thats quite a bit of protein but I may have overstimated the amount of chicken I ate.

I'm planning on weighing saturday or sunday afternoon (when I wake up on the weekend - afternoon!) I just want to see a NEW weight on the scale. If I could see 216 I'd be beside myself. Darn this silly stall!

Good Afternoon my LC Sistah's,

So far I'm having a very good LC day. I've made the pizza crust w/cauliflower. I'm going to cut it into bread sticks size instead of using for pizza.

I am going to make my cheesey jello in a bit. I need something filling , and high protein.

Diana, when I saw you wrote you only lost a lb. it triggerd a memory for me.
I weighed one day ,and was so discouraged because I had only lost 1 lb. so to comfort myself I drug my 10 lb butt into the kitchen, got the butter for some toast. Something caught my eye. I had an ah-hah moment. on the package of butter it said 4 sticks 1 lb. ding,ding,ding...I was dancing around in the kitchen, laughing n praying that NO ONE could see me.....guess what ......1 lb = 4 sticks...girlfriend you have LOST 4 sticks of buttah...whooohooo..

Jamie, you've lost 2 sticks of buttah...whooohooo. it helps to look at it like that..if you melt 2 sticks of butter and look at it..thats how much woosh is gone..yeaaa..enjoy your week off hun.. if your family bugs you to much you can use my trick. when my son was young he couldn't understand I needed some "me time ",but he understood when I took a bath. I was to be left alone .hummmm I thought ..I got me a book ,a glass of wine, some candles and wal-la " me time "
take a break girlie you deserve it.

If my math is right then 4 sticks of butter = 1 lb. of course math was not my best subject, however socializing was I scored 100 + everyday. lol

Christina, I see you didn't shoot TOM. lol. glad you are enjoying the nice weather. the temp in SC is about the same . Ruby Tuesday's is one of favs.

Welcome to all you new lovely ladies. come ,and post often. I've learned so much form the well seasoned LC'ers..

Mary , am I to understand that we can't go by the NI on a package .now I'm really gooa be screwed up. I'd not thought of reading all the stuff in a product. I thought that's what the NI was for..grrrrr..please corret me if I'm wrong ,and I rarely am..humm wonder who I stole that line from..lol. did you finish weed pulling. I agree I hate that job.

Time to go make cheesey jello. yummm

Chat more later,

Rachel

Diana, where did you find the eggs n bacon ,and the laughing cats..also how did you get them into your email. wondering minds want to know. thats a nice way of saying noisey minds..lol

Mary, how long did you nuke your eggs. I've never cooked them this way. I've a recipe I want to try.

I've got a lot of questions don't I..lol

chessey jello is made..can I just say cranberry mousse..I'm using peach SF jello next time.

Egg and Broccoli Bake

1 serving of broccoli

2 eggs

serving of cheese ( optional )

meat of choice - 1 serving size

Steam broccoli in microwavable dish , add eggs, cheese, meat , seasonings of choice , if you like it hot you can add hot sauce .
mix , and microwave till set. let rest for about 30/60 seconds.

makes one serving .

it would be easy to make a big batch of this recipe

I've not tried this recipe. it is on my to make list.

Rachel

I'll never look at butter the same way again, or a lost pound
brocolli bake looks yummy!

Diana- Movie night isn't romantic(I wish). it is family night where I get some movies and I make a bunch of snack foods and we all eat in front of the tv. It is fun I like spending the time with my son he is getting so big that soon he won't even be home on weekends.
