Well Hello again Mary!!!!
Come and hang out with us!!

8 lbs is fantastic!!! You could up the fats a little more if you are still hungry. Have you tried the coconut oil yet? That helps to keep the hunger pangs at bay.

Hi all and Welcome Mary!!

Mary..8 lbs is great for 2 weeks of Induction!! Diana is right..up your fat and your hunger pains will go away soon.

As for me...I ended up going to town today and ate induction. I am sick at my stomach from it..bet it was the grease...

B-Induction Protein Shake
D-2 hamburgers on Rev Rolls with Cheese and bacon from Hardees (the bacon cheese ones that are 2 for 3.00) About a hour after that I got sick at my stomach and still so full I dont think I will eat supper.
Supper-none
Snack-maybe 1/2 slice of LC Cheesecake.

I could not do my Treadmill today. Where I pushed myself yesterday I am SO sore thru my hips and legs when I sit down still I cant hardly get up!! Will go back to it tommorow if I can. I sure hope this dont kick me out of my fat burning Ketosis.

Catch you all in a little while!

Hi Christina! Ahh, I hope your tummy feels better!
Yeah, take a break today, and give your muscles time to rest.

Yesterday I had a double burger from Whataburger on a rev roll. I have not had one in a long time! It wasn't too bad. I also ate one of the buns!!

I won't do that again!!!

Hi..I have been lurking and reading and really enjoy the atmosphere here..no pressure or tension
Can I ask what you ladies take for vitamins? I know Dr. A lists alot when you start, and I have been doing low carb for a few years now (not as successful as I would like but whatever) and am going to re-induct and really concentrate..I havent really taken anything for awhile now..mostly because I didnt really notice a difference when taking them

I thought a multi-vitamin would just be enough??

Thanks!

I have the one from netrition and they don't compare to the one from the website I sent you.

I love them!! I can eat the whole bag if I didn't have any restraint!! :laugh

You won't be sorry! I think they can be sparingly used. There so good!

When I made those cookies they didn't even melt and did you see the recipe for the chocolate chips cookies! They are so easy with easy ingredient!

You gotta love that!!

Hi Christina,
Yep , I do like the egg creams as matter of fact I am going to try one this evening...hungry after dinner for some reason.

I make my morning one the same as Jaimie I use decaf...
Now I just saw a recipe in the egg cream thread that I am going to try with diet orange soda. Sounds so good. I don't know if you would get the same creaminess with powdered eggs. Let me know if it works if you try it. I am a little hesitant of the raw egg thing but I haven't had any issues.

Just had to tell you the orange egg cream is so yummy I am enjoying right now.
Took 2 eggs added davinci's caramel a few splashes of heavy cream and blended..
Filled a glass half way with orange soda, added egg cream mixture and topped off with orange soda. I got the recipe from Ourlusfromabve's post in the main lobby under egg creme experiment thread. There are lots of variations in there. Enjoy!

That sounds good too! It's really hard to imagine how that would taste because of the egg. I may give that a try too!
Do you use the natural eggs? Whatever I need let me know, as far as the eggs go.

Good Fat Burning Friday Friends!!!

I want to share this devotional today...made me stop and think:

Luke 4:1-2
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Forty days without food. The thought boggles the mind. And yet, Jesus was able to do it. Though we are not Jesus, we do have the same source of comfort and strength as Jesus did: the Holy Spirit. If we will concern ourselves with filling up with the Holy Spirit, then we will not have so much time to fill up with other things. Just as Jesus was sustained through the forty days, we also will be sustained by the Spirit of the living, loving God.

Today's thought: Filling up with the Holy Spirit satisfies, and it isn't fattening!

Good Morning Beautiful Ladies!!

TGIF!!! Whoohoo!!
I have the day off today and I am soo happy! I get to bake and do all kinds of homemaker and housewifey stuff!! I love it!!!

I wish I could stay home all the time!!! God bless you all who are able to stay at home!!!!

I hope all of you have an on plan wonderful Friday!!!

Thank you Jaimie for that wonderful inspirational word!!! And if I may add to that:

2 Corinthians 12:9,10
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Let's have a great low carb day!!!!

Hi everyone! Well, haven't lost anything the last couple of days but I'm sure it will drop soon. I workout on my Total Gym 6 days a week so that should help. I think it's wonderful that there is so much support on here. It's a pleasure to come in here and see how everyone is doing. I especially enjoy the different recipes. It certainly keeps me from getting bored with the same old thing day after day

When I get tired of drinking plain water I add a little pack of one of the new Crystal Lite packets that they have out for "focus" or "matabolism" or antioxidants. Nice flavors and no carbs. Makes for a nice change.

Here's another recipe that I really enjoy:

Summer Squash Casserole
1 lb yellow squash peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 c mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
1 egg beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1/2 cup chopped onion

Steam squash until barely tender, mix mayo, egg, 1/2 cheese, 2 Tbl melted butter and onion. Add squash and gently mix. Microwave 5-6 minutes. Stir and then sprinkle remaining cheese over top and microwave for another 3-5 minutes until hot and let stand five minutes. Yummy!!!!

Have a great day and I'll see you later.

I haven`t posted in a couple of weeks or so,but I thought I should give and update on my progress. I started at 213 and I am now down to 206-207 which I am thrilled about, but I seem to have stopped losing. I am eating the same amount but the scale hasn`t budged in a week. Any suggestions?...Mel
