Ahh Christina! I hope you do get some rest, you really need to keep up your strength!! Don't neglect yourself. I know you can't help it and aren't doing it intentionally. Poor little B!! I pray he gets well soon!!!

I wonder why pregnancies always mess up the body? That is strange!! But Chris you look good anyway. I know you're sideways, but you still look great!

Me too Chris, I weighed 114 pounds in high school, 114 when I got pregnant with my first son then went up to 154 and after I had him went down to 118. Got pregnant with my second son and was 118 when I got pregnant, he was a preemie so I only gained 16 pounds went up to 134. after I had him went back down to 118. Got pregnant with my last, my daughter, went up to 165 went down as far as 140 and have steadily gained it over the years. I don't think I can still call it baby fat as she will be 17 years old It's just so difficult to lose. I am wondering if its getting harder to lose because I might be starting to go through the change. My mother completely went through menopause when she was 40. I am wondering if this is what is going on with me. My periods are getting either closer together or farther apart and lasting longer. my gyn told me it's perimenopause. Hmmm...........I wonder though.

You know with me, my dr said my hormones were normal, but yet I get periods every 3 months! The last one I had was June 8th. I haven't had one yet and I probably won't. So I don't know what's going on with me either.

Hi Ladies!

I'm so happy, I didn't eat pizza!!! I ordered for my niece, her bf, nephew and DH and I got a antipasta salad. I also ate some wings and the toppings off a slice of pizza!
I can't believe it!!!! Yipppeeyyy!!!!

Okay, Okay, so I had some chicken lo-mein, is it a crime? Is it a crime I say!!! So I had some chicken lo-mein, some ribs and maybe 2 crab rangoons, okay, maybe 3 crab rangoons. Alright, alright, it was 5 crab rangoons. So I cheated today. Yes, yes I did. I will pay for it tomorrow I'm sure! Back on induction again tomorrow.

When I would do low carb before, I would eat the tops of pizza along
with other "iffy" food choices. I never got below 160. This time around
I never eat off plan except for eating TOO MUCH of good food aka
recent weight gain, and in general weigh about 135-140. Big difference!

Hi Bella, I love to eat pizza toppings too!! I always feel bad for leaving the crust, like it's a waste of money, or someone else could have eaten that slice, lol. So I just ate from a small slice.

Good morning to all,
welcome to all the new people, was busy yesterday studying but did good stayed on plan had more carbs than planned about 23 but still stayed on plan, had a 1/2 pound loss this morning. I ate tilapia for dinner last night, also an ounce of almonds later. I'm counting full carbs no net until I see a drastic change in weight. Good going Diana on the pizza, such great willpower. I'm inspired to not give in to temptation. Had 3 eggs this morning with an ounce and half of cream cheese, coffee w/cream. I know thats alot of eggs but I was hungry after early morning excercise. Today is more studying and staying on plan. Lunch should be chicken leg w/walden farms blue cheese dressing. I have a question about Beanut Butter, it says that its all fiber, so 0 carbs. Has anyone had any gains because of this stuff. I ordered some last week. Trying to fing sub for peanut butter. Let me know about this, good or bad.

Started induction on 7/21

Hi All!


I'm really wanting to lose my extra 20 lbs this time. Since starting law school a year ago I've gained 13 lbs. and I am so upset with myself for letting that happen. But, I am determined to lose that and an extra 7 lbs. Since induction I've lost 2 lbs. I was hoping it would be more, but oh well, it's better than nothing. I know I haven't been drinking enough water these past couple of days.

I have a question if anyone can help. I may have not been allowing myself to experience optimum weight loss by not drinking enough water; eating a couple of Russel Stover sf coconut filled chocolate candies per day; and a couple of sticks of sf gum. Does this sound like it might have kept me from losing more? I would love to think that it hadn't because I love my little sinful delights, but I need to get real here, and if I need to cut them out...I will!

I'm glad to see this new thread and I look forward to losing this weight with all of you!

PS: Back in 2002 I lost 50 lbs so I KNOW this works!

Hi Julia! Welcome!!! You will lose weight with us!!! I know that if you were to cut out the candy and gum, you may be able to lose faster. I know, they are so good! But the sugar alcohol in them can cause stalls. Plus those aren't allowable on induction.

Oh Baby, I never had the Beanut Butter, before, so I'm sorry I can't help you on that.

But when I do use PB, I always buy the all natural kind. Like Laura Scudders, I love that one.
