Dazed and Confused

So, Saturday I weighed 224. This morning I weigh 229! What's up with that? I've stayed on plan! How can I really be FIVE pounds heavier? No, it's not my TOM. This is REALLY frustrating. I know people tell you to measure your inches and stuff, but I'm really tired of these numbers not moving. I am smaller in size, but COME ON.

I am exercising, I stay between 20-25 carbs a day, sometimes less. I could probably drink more water. Ick. I'm just so mad right now.

Nobody steadily looses weight. You will always have fluctuations. Remember you didn't put the weight on overnight, so you will not loose it overnight. Trust me, I have to keep telling myself that too!! Check out lisabinil.....

gained 2lbs since yesterday:-(

I am sorry you are so frustrated.
What did you eat over the weekend? For me since I started this time I am really sensitive to any form of salt. I can jump 8 pounds within a day by not watching my salt. Hidden salt is the worse. Try increasing your water. It should help and you will see a big woosh soon. GOOD LUCK!

Ya know what? It happens all the time, get used to it!! Just stick with it and look at the long-term results. Maybe stay away from the scale a bit (unless you have a hard time staying on track w/o it)........I've had lots of fluctuations for no apparent reason, the key is to NOT let them get to you and keep moving forward!!

I know...I know...and you know, Wenig, you might be right about the salt. I probably should keep a closer eye on it. I probably should put the scale away for a week at a time, so I am not tempted to weigh several times a week. It made me so upset this morning and has thrown me off for the whole day. I probably should just check my measurements more and weigh in less.

question for you is your goal to become a smaller healtheir you? if so keep working your plan Atkins both the eating and the exercise those 8 eight ounce glasses of water are mandatoery not an option per DANDR and ignore the scales since you are shedding body fat as you shrink.

there are many reasons why the scale will not show your true fat loss everything for junk in your bowles to fluid retention cause you are putting a new exercise load on your muscles to not drinking enough fluids.
if the scales frustrate your shrinking body then do not use them.

happy low carbing
