I blew it, Day 1 Induction . . .

I can't believe it! I went back over what I ate yesterday and found an oopsie. I completely didn't check the carb count, bummer.

B: 2 Sausage Patties & 1 Slice Cheese
L: 3 Chicken Salad Rolls wrapped in Lettuce
D: Steak & 1/2 C Green Beans

I know it looks all well but in the Chicken Salad w/Mayo I also used Dill Relish which I went back to check that night and found it had 3 carbs in a Tbsp. and right up under the carbs it said 3 sugars. OMG! I didn't know this.
Should I start over at Induction Day 1 today or keep on trucking and watch out better?

Exactly how did you blow it? The 3 carbs and the bit of sugar should be ok -just remember to read labels.

It took me a while to remember to read all labels, they sneak sugar and [u]corn syrup[u] in everything! You are doing great, just keep going!!

Hey, you wouldn't believe the number of mistakes I made back when I did this the first time.

I kept subracting the fibre from the carbs on the nutrition label, as it says in DANDR. Trouble is, here in the UK, the fibre is already deducted. The fist time I got a negative number of carbs I thought "hang on..."

It took me weeks to realise tea and coffe had carbs (well now they say coffee doesn't) and I needed to count them.

I made plenty of mistakes like that, I still did good (lost 80lbs in the end.) Just hang in there and keep learning.

I just wouldn't do it again during Induction, is all. Relax - you've got 42 Induction meals to eat and this one ingredient is barely a blip on the screen.

I'd up my veggie intake, though.

you learned an important lesson for being an atkins success at a very cheap cost
Know the carb count, the ingredients and if it is legal for your phase before it goes in your mouth.

Ahall they do make SF Relish. I believe Klasic makes one and so does MT olive. Just be sure to read the label.
I live in SC and a local place makes it. And its 0 carbs, 0fat, 0 sugar. I cant do Tuna or Chicken salad w/o relish

No, tea in its natural form (without added fruits, for example) does not have carbohydrates. Just watch the herbal ones and flavored ones for things added.
