Come on you guys. What are you eating out there on induction???

Here is a "Mock" Fettucini Primavera ala George Stella!

*Note - I used the whole squash and doubled the recipe. Actually added more broccoli and tomato and put this into 2 pie plates and reheated that way. This is sooo good!
*Another note - I slice the squash length wise, scoop out the seed. Put face down in a roasting pan and bake for about 30-40 minutes. Til you can poke it with a fork. Then use the fork to scrape it out.

1/2 medium spaghetti squash
Primavera Sauce, recipe follows
*Cook's Note: This recipe is for half of the squash. You may double the recipe to use all of it, or top the other half of the squash with butter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon
to make "mock" baked stuffed potatoes.
Slice squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon as you would a pumpkin. Then completely submerge both halves in boiling water and cook for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the inside is tender to a fork and pulls apart in strands. (It is better to undercook if you are not sure). Remove, drain, and cool with cold water or an ice bath to stop the cooking. Then use a fork to scrape the cooked squash out of its skin, and at the same time, fluff and separate the squash into spaghetti-like strands. Discard the skin.
Reheat the squash strands by dipping with a strainer in boiling water just before serving. Top with Primavera Sauce.
Primavera Sauce:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 cup small broccoli florets, lightly blanched
1 cup heavy cream
1 egg yolk
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Grape tomatoes, sliced in half, for garnish
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan over medium high-heat. Add broccoli and saute for about 1 minute. Then whisk in cream and egg yolk and cook for only 1 to 2 minutes. Next, add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly just to heat through. Remove from heat and stir in the rest of the butter and the parsley. Pour over or toss with the hot spaghetti squash. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and grape tomatoes.

LOL! Love the title of this thread....I knew immediately it was food pics, because on another (makeup/beauty) board I visit, members refer to pics of their makeup stashes (collections) and hauls (purchases) as makeup porn! For those not familiar, picture someone you work with or your spouse coming up behind you when you have these pics open on your pc screen...and what they might be thinking...hence the term 'porn'

and those ribs just made my mouth water for some!
Have a roast in the crockpot for tonight, though, but I'll have to get some ribs this weekend for sure!

Here's the Wendy's baconator with my low-carb buns!

Here is the low-carb pizza made with a Flat-Out wrap.

Here is mashed cauliflower with polish sausage and green beans.

French fries made from yams, low-carb cole slaw and diced spicy chicken breast.

A salad made with a hard-boiled egg in a Japanese egg mold.

Shell - It's called Queso Blanco, or you can look for Queso De Frier, also known as Mexican frying cheese. I think there are a couple other names maybe someone else can help out here?
Put just a little oil in a pan, you don't need much. Slice up the cheese and fry it til it's browned on the one side, then flip it and fry the other.

1 oz has less than 1 carb and 6 grams of protein. This is such a nice snack! You can dip it in salsa or sauce. Slurp!

That burger looks incredible! I'm going to go hunt down that recipe for that bun. Unless you want to post it here?
And Polish Sausage! I have not had that since I was a kid I don't think! I wonder why I never thought of that?
Everything looks so good Cleo. Glad I ate already! How cut that little egg is!

Hmm, well here it is by the packaged cheeses. The sliced American and such. It's not by the deli. I think Walmart carries some form of it. I know the first time I found it at Sam's and I bought a HUGE mamma block of that stuff. My poor DS. He loved it, ate it and ate it and blocked himself up good!
Ooops. Not nice LOL.

BarbDe, that Queso Blanco looks so good!!

Here is a simple induction level stir-fry dish that I love.. its a bit spicy but you can use less sauce if you want.

You'll need:
Chicken Breast (I just use the frozen Tyson brand)
Fresh broccoli (and any othr veggies you want)
Chili Garlic Sauce (look at all the brands, kind I get has 3carb/serving)

Thats it!
Put in some vegetable or olive oil, then add chicken, cook til chicken is nearly done then add in veggies and keep cover on pan to allow to steam, then add in sauce and stir for a couple minutes and serve.

Girl, who do you think helped inspired me to start cooking? I've been a major fan of BarbDe's for years....

I forgot to add that the gravy in the polish sausage picture is made with ThickNthin/Not starch, so it's totally 'legal' !

The bun recipe is here, with a basic picture tutorial in comic form. link to bun happiness.
