Good morning all.
Love all this yummy food. Oneoftwo I think that hollandaise is the one from Dr. Atkins book. Kitkat, I have a tip about poaching eggs easy. If you can get the silicone cup cake cups or muffin cups just put a Tblsp of water in each, crack in the egg and float in a pot of simmering water till done to how you like them. They wont stick in the silicone, what can be better ![]() |

I love this pancake sandwich from a local fast food chain. It's two pancakes with sausage, egg and cheese. I recreated that minus the egg because... well the pancake recipe already has eggs. I also used ham instead of sausage. This is what I came up with

Ignore crisp Pea pods. Pretend they're celery.
Everything else is induction friendly. Andouille, sauerkraut, my mock potato salad and a deviled egg. |

Me too! I love them, but I'm not thinking they're ok until the second veggie rung since they're starchier little buggers. I just wanted some crunch and I'm not a celery girl.

That looks tasty. Did you use an unflavored PP to make the pancakes? I am getting ideas now! Would be so good w/a sausage patty and some cheese. My fav!

Sugarfree Sheila's Pancakes (Induction friendly) 3 oz cream cheese, soften in microwave 2 eggs 1 tsp cinnamon 1 T Davinci Sugar Free Syrup* Butter Mix everything throughly, no lumps. Pour batter in a skillet on medium heat. I wait until the edges are not wet before flipping, this makes the pancakes brown and look like real pancakes. *I use 1 tsp of Splenda and a splash of vanilla extract. |

Oh yeah, that is right, you were using Sheila's recipe. The pancakes I make have protein powder in them.
I think I'll try to do the original (w/out pp) tomorrow. Yum. |

please do. I haven't had any problems with it. It's a little salty but then just use unsalted butter to top it. ;D

How did you get your pancake to turn out so good? I tried the recipe with the cream cheese yesterday...but it just ended up falling apart when I flipped it and it looked like scambled eggs! lol
I may have messed up with the cream cheese....I didn't know how much 3 oz was (i'm new to cooking-ha) so I just weighed in on a scale.. ANy tips for those delicious looking pancakes????? |

![]() Well as luck would have it, this week was one of those times, and I came across the Zucchini Nacho chip thread and subbed it for the zucchini. All I can say is OMG! For exact proportions go to my post at Induction-friendly Nacho Chips |

Make sure the pan is hot enough. Pour the batter into the egg rings and wait until the edges of the pancakes are no longer wet. Then remove the egg rings and flip the pancakes. The egg rings help to make the edges of the pancakes thicker, too so it's easier to flip. I wait until the batter looks almost dry before flipping so I can get that dark brown color on each side. I also use vegetable oil and not Pam spray just because we don't have it here. HTH! |
