I sometimes have trouble searching on this site too so I usually go to google and type in the name of the recipe and lowcarbfriends.com and it usually pops up. Otherwise many recipes are listed by name on Linda Sue's site Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Recipes . Her site also has a search function. Good luck and happy eating! |

Loaded mashed Cauliflower
Take 1 head of cauliflower and chop it up into 1-2" chunks. Boil in water til soft (I add a splash of heavy cream to the water). Drain. Then in batches I blend it in the blender with 4oz cream cheese. Transfer to pie plate. Top with bacon bits and shredded cheddar and bake just til cheese melts. |

I am SO GLAD to find these! The possibilities are endless!!!I also made the "Loaded Cauliflower" and even added a jicama to it for more crunch and sweetness, and some spices, but it's still a bit BLAND!! Not sure what it's missing. It has bacon, cream cheese, butter, mixed cheese blend, chives, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder & sour cream. It does taste good, just missing that kick I like. ![]() Marci

Am definitely going to have to make the Oopsies. That's been on my "to try" list since day one.
I made Linda Sue's Spinach Lasagna last night. I used a whole onion instead of the original small amount, as well as 4 garlic cloves instead of the powder. And since I make my own spaghetti sauce, I added my own herbs and seasonings to some tomato sauce. It was absolutely to die for. Like, bang your head in a wall good. ![]() |

Has anyone ever attempted to make induction friendly Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Red Lobster? I am sure you can get it pretty close using the oopsie roll recipe... Just thought that those biscuits sounded REALLY good!

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits 2 C. Bisquick 1/2 C. cold water 3/4 C. grated, sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 C. butter 1 tsp. parsley flakes 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together baking mix, cold water, and grated cheese. Roll out biscuits in a floured surface. Biscuits should be approximately one inch thick. Cut biscuits with a cutter, and place onto an ungreased baking dish. Melt butter and seasonings together. Brush with the butter and spices and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. However, you cannot make the EXACT biscuits, because they have a special butter/garlic sauce that is not available to the general public. See how they are!! Recipe: Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Looks almost do-able except for that darn Bisquick!!! Even Carbquik isn't for Induction right? Guess you could throw all these ingredients together with the Oopsies. At least they might TASTE similar! Marci |

I've been lurking around this website for a few days now, and I decided to register today. My sister in law lost 35 pounds on Atkins, so I figured I'll try it and see. What have I got to lose, except and extra 50 lbs??
Subscribing! I'm getting on photobucket right now so I can upload some boring "food porn"! |

This is my Induction day two breakfast. There is a piece of cheese wrapped up inside each slice of turkey. I didn't eat the ham, either, because I got full, and I only ate half of the dressing pouch. I'm new to Induction (still waiting on my book to get here), and I hope I'm doing it right. I love watching y'alls recipes and I'm writing them all down for when I get home, but at the chow halls in Afghanistan, we dont' have much time (to go and eat) or much selection. So it's boring for now, but when I get home- WATCH OUT! LOL
http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/t...n/STH72351.jpg I'm still learning how to post the actual picture on here, but I'll figure it out! Last edited by Catrapoin; 01-27-2010 at 11:34 PM.. Reason: fixing the photo |

Day two lunch:
2 turkey "fingers", a plain cheeseburger (sans bun), and 3 strips of bacon. I also added 1/2 cup tomatoes and 1/2 cup cucumbers. boring, but legal... http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/t...n/STH72351.jpg |
