Whenever I fry ANY cheese, I let it get to that stage. Very browned from the outside (not burnt). Its my favorite part.

Hey, I finally fried up my Queso Fresco yesterday. I'm thinking I won't freeze that cheese next time (froze it cuz I was leaving town). It sorta wanted to fall apart when I cut it into slices before I fried it. And...perhaps I used too much olive oil to fry it in too. And...I sorta burnt a few of them. Geez!
Well, it still tasted good. I dipped the cheese in Chile Verde.
Anyone think that Queso is a bit Salty? It was for me.
^^^^^ This doesn't look burnt to me

Salsa Verde...means Green Salsa. It's in a can and made w/tomatillos and chilies.
I used to make it fresh...but, now I'm too Lazy!

I bought some lowcarb sugar free Ketsup and to me I slice into the cheese burnt n all and I feel I am eatting a grilled cheese sandwhich! That has been my dinner now for the past week, EVERY NIGHT! Love it, and does not cause me any troubles in the potty

So easy...spray a dinner size plate with pam, pour two beaten eggs on plate...add veggies of choice, salt & pepper...pop in microwave for 2 -3 minutes (watch close microwave vary so much) remove and add cheese...take a spaqula and fold over...back in the microwave for 1 minute...enjoy!

Quail Eggs! Heck NO! JMO....
I went to a Sushi place eons ago and some guy bought me a sushi piece w/a raw Quail Egg on top. I couldn't...wouldn't eat it! Since then...No Way I'm eating those birdie eggs.
Poor wittle birdies.

That omelette reminds me of a Breakfast Taco. I'll have to try that one!
I have a whole qt carton of egg beaters in my frig.

It's been a number of years, but I've had hard boiled quail eggs. Even made a pound cake out of them. It took 30!

Anyway, I'll bet your mini scotch eggs are good.

I used a package of the Jimmy Dean maple flavored sausage. 6 carbs in the whole packet. I used one package for 39 eggs. I coated them pretty thin trying to keep cals down. Each meatball is about 42 calories and way under a gram of carbs. I ate 5 for dinner and was quite sated!!
