Queso Blanco?
Do you fry the Queso Blanco like you would a pancake? Could you use it as a bun? I am going to the store to look for it.
Thanks. |

Store had queso fresco not blanco. Think it's same thing. Is it? Fried it up and tasted pretty good. Had a bready taste to it. How thick should slices be?

Really its up to you how thick you want it but if its too thick the cheese in the middle will be extremely sweet. ya fresco and blanco is the same thing I think it just means white cheese, but im not sure.

We had cheeseburgers tonight............the kids had buns..........we just had patties (topped with the Queso Fresco, yummmm, and green beans on the side) Dessert was a metamucil protein shake (hopefully the cheese won't clog up the pipes). I'm not hungry and it is time for bed. Have a great night and thanks for all of the help on the cheese. I'm going to get addicted to it.

Looks great Lori.
Just want to note though, so as not to confuse newbies. Cottage cheese is not an acceptable induction food. |
