Melanie your pictures have disappeared! But I saw them yesterday and they looked great! I haven't had a burger in a while! I love burgers!!
Looks great Nadi! I need to get some green beans and try out those ugly things!! Angie: Avocados are special category foods: To add variety, each day you can also eat 10 to 20 olives, half a small avocado, an ounce of sour cream or three ounces of unsweetened heavy cream, as well as two to three tablespoons of lemon juice or lime juice. But be aware that these foods occasionally slow down weight loss in some people, and may need to be avoided in the first two weeks. If you seem to be losing slowly, moderate your intake of these foods. And OMG BREAKFAST!! I LOVE ME SOME BREAKFAST!! That looks great!

Oh man! I forgot to take a picture!
We had oven baked spare ribs last nite. Used Dana Carpenders BBQ sauce on some ribs. Wrapped in foil baked at 275 for 3 hours. Served with homemade coleslaw. YUMMY! They smelled so good I thought about the pic later...sorry! |

That's a really good BBQ sauce isn't it? I made some for myself and the guys had their own sauce. They ended up eating MY ribs! ![]() |

Dinner last night was kind of late, and thrown together. But it turned out great!
I started out just frying up some onions, peppers & garlic. Found some Italian sausage in the freezer so I though. Cool! Sausage and peppers. That will work. Well then the boys got involved and dragged out my frozen sauce and made themselves some pasta. Not to be outdone, I popped my spaghetti squash in the oven and had my own spaghetti and sauce! ![]() And no cheese cuz I have given it up for a while. ![]() ![]() |

Barde~Looks Nummy! Yeah...what's in the sauce?
This morning for Brekkers, I had a burger w/flax meal bread (first time I made this). It was YUMMO and Easy! ![]() Flax Meal Bread (H’s) 4 tbsp flax meal 1 tsp or more of butter 1 egg ½ tsp of baking powder Salt, pepper to taste Melt butter in a round micro safe bowl Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl Mix egg in w/butter (I use a fork) Add dry ingredients until smooth. Cook in micro for 1 ½ min. Slice in half or use whole for toast or sandwich You can use a plate to cook this up as a wrap Oh, it's 4gms of Carbs for 2 tbsp of Flax meal.

My sauce is never the same way twice LOL.
But the basics: Peppers, onions, mushrooms sauteed in olive oil. I use Publix brand tomato sauce (has no sugar) and paste. Sometimes I brown up pork neck bones and let them cook in the sauce, or throw in some chicken breasts. Other times I do a meat sauce with browned sausage and ground meat. Just depends on what I have onhand. And I make gallons of it so that I usually have some in my freezer. WHICH reminds me. I need to make more this weekend! ![]() ETA: Man, that's a lot of liquid from that spaghetti squash on that plate! I don't remember seeing that last night! LOL. Flax has a lot of fiber, so if you are doing "net carbs" it's a pretty negligible amount. You can also add some cocoa and a packet or 2 of Splenda and end up with a mock chocolate cake! Top with some cream cheese. MMMMMMM. |

I think it's one of those things where it's like an omelette, but instead of folding it over, you leave it flat, lifting the edges so the egg can cook better, maybe piling stuff on top of it. Like a small pizza, but with egg instead of dough.

I whip up the eggs until frothy, mix in all the other ingredients (except cheese) and pour into an oven safe skillet. Bake at about 350 until it looks about right for me. Top with cheese and put back in the oven until it's melted. Easier for me because I can never get my omelets to come out right.
