It's difficult to remember where they came from. I read just about any thread that involves good food. Like you I need to print them when I find them.

OceanDreaming,
Thank you for post the buffalo wings! I've never made the pork rinds and cheese crust and it was fabulous!! I used cayenne too. DD saw my pic yesterday and said, I want some chicken nuggets too. She wasn't home and missed them. I didnt have what was needed for the sauce, so I just hit mine with a dash of hot sauce and dipped in ranch dressing. Yummo!! |

Jen I am making those! Thanks. In the absence of puppies will my cats do? Will I need to sing something different as they are cats?

If you're going to substitute cat in the recipe, you may have to physically pic them up and help them work on their dancing skills. In my history cats have not been as (willingly) receptive to dancing as my puppies are. I would recommend an upbeat dance club beat. ![]() Enjoy them. They're AWESOME! |

Couldn't even get the cats into the kitchen!
These are truly wonderful Jen, I added raspberry syrup and cinnamon (cos I am like that). Drool. I would officially like to propose to you. (My thin and crispy Pizza isn't thin enough, why did I keep piling the mix into the pan?) |

Good Morning all!
For something festive, I turned this: ![]() into this: ![]() Carbs: 2g for the entire batch (my batch made two crepes) (3 if you include the tbls of whip cream on top) Ingredients: 2 eggs 1 oz cream cheese 2 tbls pumpkin (not the pie mix) A pretty good sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice To make this better, next time I'll add a splash of Toasted Marshmallow Davnici's syrup or a packet of splenda. They needed a little sweetness. They're delicious and festive.

Jen, I blended fresh oregano, thyme, cilantro, sage, rosemary, and crushed garlic in softened butter and slathered it under the breast skin. Then I stuffed it with half an orange, a lemon, an onion, garlic and fresh herbs. In the pan, I chunked up one carrot, 3 stalks of celery, more garlic, sliced an onion and a leek, then added the rest of the orange, cut into quarters, and the remaining herbs. The trick was to cover the breast with 8 strips of bacon and bake for 40 minutes at 450, then I took it out, pulled off the bacon, basted the chicken, and baked it for 40 more minutes. And then once more basted it and baked for 40 minutes.
It's in a roasting pan on a rack. It beats any store bought roasted chicken hands down. It was so tender that when I went to carve off the drumsticks, the bone just pulled out in my hand, same with the wings and thighs. Right now I have the carcass in a pot with veggies, salt, pepper, bay and water rendering down into stock. It has 4-5 hours to go and the flavor of the stock is already yummy.

Aww, Thanks Kissa! It's fun to make food and take pictures! With all these wonderful options, I don't see how anybody can get bored with their food, really.
I have been out of the loop as far as food picture taking, I realized. I got back at it tonight. I had spaghetti squash with sauce. Tiny meatballs. And some grilled chicken on the side. Topped with fresh grated Locatelli. Yummm. Who needs pasta anyway? (Picture is not so great, not enough color contrast with the plate and the squash) ![]()

Induction Friendly LC Stuffed BellPeppers
![]() ![]() ![]() MMMMM.... soooooooooooo yummy! Alright, so I haven't found an official stance on Miracle Noodles. I think it's one of those things, if it stalls you, stay away from it. If you can have it, have at it. Ingredients [0] 1 lb lean ground beef [12] 4 Red Bell Pepper [6] 1/2 Yellow Onion [1] 1 tsp minced garlic [8] 1/2 cup Low Sugar Ketchup [0] 1 package Miracle Noodles [1] 1/2 cup shredded cheese [26] Total for the recipe [6.5] Per pepper All carb counts rounded up I chopped the miracle noodles until they were itsy bitsy like rice. NOM! |

Does anyone else do this?
You go to take a picture and the batteries go dead, so you have to plug in the rechargables and yell "NOBODY TOUCH THE POTPIE UNTIL I SNAP A PICTURE!" I'm not saying that happens to me or anything... I love this thread. It's the foodies unite sisterhood! Or the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (as in panting, not pantalones). ![]() |

![]() I love this thread too. It actually inspires me to take my "cravings" and turn them into something amazing. Or when I sample something I can tweak into LC goodness. It's a fun hobby. |

Usually at my house it's:
"Dinner's READY" Guys come running "WAIT! DON'T TOUCH THAT! I didn't get the PICTURE YET!" ![]() And then there is the whole file on my computer of food pictures! LOL. Hey, sometimes it is good to go back through them, it reminds me good food I had forgotten about! |
