MY WORD!!! Everything looks soooo good here. I need to start taking pictures of my food...

Cleo's Donuts look delicious! Can you sub vanilla extract for the DaVinci syrup? I haven't gotten any DaVinci syrups yet... I think it should exchange without changing the recipe too much unless I need less of the extract.

You can, but you would need some sweetner as well. I would use stevia.

Low Carb Hungarian Mushroom Soup Recipe #86146

Although this recipe is easy to make, it has a great, complex taste-and it's low carb too. My family loves it, and I hope you do too.

by Janis Eschbach

6 servings
Time to make: 50 min 10 min prep

4 tablespoons butter
2 cups chopped onions
1 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 cup heavy cream (whipping)
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash fresh ground pepper
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/3 cup sour cream
chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)

1. Melt butter over medium heat, using a large pot.
2. Add onions and saute for 5 minutes.
3. Add mushrooms and saute for 5 more minutes.
4. Stir in the chicken broth, paprika, soy sauce and dill weed.
5. Reduce to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
6. Pour heavy cream into soup and blend well.
7. Simmer, covered, for 10 more minutes.
8. Stir in salt, pepper, lemon juice and sour cream.
9. Heat through for 4 or 5 minutes. (I actually puree part of it with a stick blender at this point)
10. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

I have to say I'm also HOOKED on this thread! My eyes and mind have been opened to a whole world of foods I never would have thought of!

I tried the Revolution/Oopsie rolls (what's the difference?) tonight for the first time. (I just started today.) I haven't tried them yet. I'm going to have one with a burger tomorrow. I really loaded up my muffin top pan (it holds 4) and had enough mix left for two very flat "rolls" which I will try to use somehow. Anyway, these LOOK GREAT! Thanks for all the ideas everyone!

Here's my pic:

Here's my pic:

The difference between Oopsies and Revolution Rolls is that Cleo was attempting to make Revolution rolls (the ones in the Atkins book), and accidentally used 3 ounces of cream cheese instead of 3 Tablespoons of cream cheese. That's twice the cream cheese - she thought she'd ruined the recipe.

On the contrary, the results of her mistake were astounding - softer, more moist, supple, and bread-like than you get from the Revolution Roll recipe.

Some people prefer the original Revolution Roll recipe though - everyone's different.

THANK YOU for that explanation. I was trying to find the answer on the boards and just couldn't for the life of me.
Way to go Cleo!
Did you know that potato chips, popsicles, and artificial sweeteners were all discovered by accident, too???

BTW, here are induction-friendly Doritos. Of course, as always, be judicious in use of the popcorn seasoning as there are trace amounts of carbs in them.

YES! I'll be trying those too Cleo. I'll eat dirt if it's crunchy and triangular!

So tonight I had a bacon cheddar burger on Cleo's Oopsie rolls, a side of homemade coleslaw, and roasted mushrooms and cauliflower.

My pics aren't so great but thought I'd share anyway...
