Oh No MAYO!

I HATE mayo It makes me sick. even the smell makes me want to gag. That said. Any other sugestions? Im aware of the sugar content in Miracle Whip 1gm and it has 2 carbs per serv however does any one else use it any way? It would make my life so much easier.

Miracle Whip is not a lc food. Try adding some Splenda to mayo and see if you like that.

Sorry to hear that. I love Mayo. Can eat it right out of the jar. Miracle whip makes me gag. I like the other suggestion of adding splenda to it and trying it that way. Can you eat it in egg salad or tuna salad or chicken salad?

I know somtimes I need a kick in my tuna or chicken salad, so I use ranch instead of mayo, I like mayo but somtimes I am just not in the mood. At times I just find mayo to greasy or mayoeee does that makes sense to you.

I love tuna and egg salad but hate it made with mayo Im from Ohio and we use a lot of Miracle whip in these parts

I use italian dressing in my egg salad, and I barely taste the mayo... but then again, mayo doesn't bother me, so maybe that's why I don't taste it.

I thought that I had a great idea...but then I went to the kitchen to check the ingredients...it went right in the trash! I had been using grey poupon's creamy dijon...but alas, modified corn starch and HFCS. GAG....and a moderate amount of weeping! I was using this to make salad dressings. Oh well, let the hunt begin again!

Sorry, I will see if I can come up with a different alternative to your mayo problem.

You can try making your own as well - I haven't done this in a while but all you need is olive oil, eggs and a wisk or cusinart. That way you know there isn't any junk in it and it lasts about a week in the fridge.

Rian, an old WW trick to egg salad with no mayo is to use some cottage cheese mixed into the egg. It's tasty, but I'm not sure about the carbs in the cottage cheese. I'm not using any myself at this time (induction).

balsmic vingrette isn't induction legal please reread your DANDR so you know what is legal for induction.

there is no need to use mayo at all if you don't like it.
I only use it in deviled eggs and as the base for my dressing. I make coleslaw with a hot dressing one part hot sauce to 2 parts mayo and as the cabbage ferments in the vinegar from the hotsauce the greasy mayo feeling is gone.
you can't taste it at all in deviled eggs if you spice up the mix with a little vinegar and mustard

you could always make a butter sauces for your dipping sauce or mix some flavored oils with mustard and spread that on your meats.
roast some veggies that are legal coated with EEOV and you can purree then for a high fat spread

you can make a oilve garlic spread that is legal and high fat.

no need to eat mayo ever if you really don't like it.

The other day, I made an edd salad using homemade oil and vinegar dressing (canola oil, vinegar, and a little dijon mustard) and I added some celery for crunch. I didn't use any mayo. It was really quite delicious.
