Thanks! I started in September at 170 lost to 160. Then got off cuz I felt depressed, thought it was the diet. I gained 18 pounds. So this time around I weighed 178 when I started induction and now im back to 160. I have pictures in my gallery, which i cant wait to add to!

I am moving on to OWL and see how that goes. As for my induction menu, it was terrible, but it worked for me. I ate lots of fast food cuz i dont like to cook. I ate tons of double cheeseburgers from mcdonalds, remove the bun ad eat it on revolution roll. did the same with bacon egg and cheese biscuits for breakfast. I ate these everyday. also ate taco bell, just the inside of a taco.I ate salads, and the tops of pizza. I know it sounds really bad, but fast food is what im used to eating and what I luv the taste of. so it kept me from cheating. I do plan to eat healthier now that i got the hardest part(just getting started) out of the way. I also have so much more energy, so I feel like cooking for a change. That will help im sure. And i'm so so thirsty that I drink ALOT. 2 gallons of water and 6-8 diet soda's a day. I also plan to kick the diet soda habit along the way.

Your menu cracks me up....only because I know fast food is bad for me, but I swear when I eat it I lose. I always eat the double cheeseburgers (minus ketchup) from McD's and sometimes I get the chix ranch wrap - I eat everything but the wrap and buns.
See you can lose weight from fast food, you just have to know the rules! haha Congrats on your loss! keep it up. |

I did the same thing
I ate fast food a lot too and I do feel SO GREAT! I have never stuck to anything - including Atkins in the past like now - 2 weeks in and no desire to go off. Loving it and even if it takes forever, at least I am not a slave to the food anymore and not so seriously depressed. We are doing it!

I will definately say since i fell off the low carb woe i have way less energy of course weight gained back..and a general blah feeling....i was on it a whole year... with such small cheats i didn't even count them as they were generally too much salad or mayo or meat ( caloric wise)...I know i have to get back on...why am i having such a hard time...esp. this time of year
janie But you sound like you are doing very wonderful keep it up ![]() |
