Newbie with Pork Rinds Question
Hi Folks:
I don't see this on my 2002 acceptable induction foods list, but read here that others are eating these on their induction -- have they been added since 2002 to the acceptable foods for "clean" induction? Thanks! Susan |

I guess you could eat them as they are 100% pork, and we know we can eat meats.
However, I imagine they would not be very healthy as they are high in sodium. I hate them, cannot stand the smell! yuck |

I don't believe they're mentioned by name, but if the ingredients are legal the product would be as well. In this case you're probably talking about pig skin, salt and spices. They'd fit into the "convenience foods" category referred to on the Induction list.

yes pork rinds are legal. Pork is on the acceptable foods lists for all versions of Atkins.
just remeber when Dr Atkins refers to them he says "a few" not a whole bag |
