Fiber?
I know I am not getting the amount of fiber I need for this diet, as I have been so constipated, and usually for me it is just the opposite when I am doing this WOE(Atkins).. What veggies are highest in fiber?

jicama has a lot pumpkin should help too.
Are you following DANDR 2002 and subtracting fiber from your farb total? if so flax can be a great fiber source and per rule 12 you can use it for constipation during induction even though it is a seed. |

I use flax meal when I feel like that. Just sprinkle in on anything or I make these muffins, although they are not "legal" on induction. I would rather feel better!

Thank you... I will try the flax seeds and see how those work.

Go to the home page here, and then click the LCF carb counter. Excellent tool, it lists the total carb count and the fiber count for each serving.
My picks: Cabbage, Broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, avacado. |
