starting tommarow

I used to come to the boards a lot , and then I got lazy , I just kept eating, and every morning I would say the same thing, I am starting induction today, well I got the nerve to get on the scale and I have gained so much in the last month, 15 pounds to be exact and its all in my belly. I have the Atkins book, but I do wonder if its ok to eat canned and frozen veggies until I can get to the store. So tommarow I am starting fresh no matter what I have even been recording Pilates on TV and I have my WATP. So I am back and this time I am staying. Anyone else starting induction soon?

you can use fresh frozen and/or canned veggies as your Atkins induction acceptable veggies as long as the veggie itself is on the list. if you use something like spinach or tomatoes that cook down alot in the cooking check your serving size against the carbs in a raw version of the food equal to however much you need from your 3 cups limits for the day.

happy low carbing

Be careful with the canned veggies. Allot are full of salt and some even have sugar. But I love frozen veggies. Much better then fresh in my opinion.

you marinate chicken breast in diet orange soda and soy sauce over night then bake in the oven. I had some for lunch it was so yummy.

wow that is interesting recipe. too bad i'm soy allergic but that diet soda as the flavoring could work elsewhere.

what did you have with your chicken as your healthy veggie carbs?

Doesn't soy sauce have sugar in it?

The soy sauce I use says 0 carbs, and there is no sugar products on the label, I just buy the generic brand from the dollar store.

I put the chicken on top of a big salad, I don't care for iceberg lettuce so I use raw spinach, mushrooms, scallions, cucumber, then I dress it with a little apple cider vinager and olive oil. in the evening I do protein and some kind of dark green veggie. I have low carb shakes here, but I only drink them if there is absolutly nothing else in the house.

I finally made it through day one again (there is little floaties in my pee already) ,

Halloween is going to be a challenge being a chocoholic but I am not worried I know that in a few weeks I can have a bite of whatever it is and then get right back o ntrack, maybe I won't even like sugar anymore.

Well I hope everyone has a great day.

excuse me, I'm surfing the boards for information and I know this post is a week old but I had to comment on it...

I was just wondering what your 'floaties in your pee already' comment meant... I've never heard this before...

thanks!
