Oy!

I've made so many mistakes with my first induction, it's definitely time to start over. I most certainly over-did the splenda koolaid, not counting each packet as one gram of carbs. And I feasted on some of the delicious recipes from the site here without taking into account that some of these recipes are a bit too high for induction. Time to start over, and make it simple this time. Need a clean induction, and bypass the recipes for a while.

Good idea Dig, keep your head up. It's a challenge and a adventure. Just dust yourself off and start again. We all have been there. Welcome!

Thanks Tricia...

Well, at least I didn't gain any weight during induction. LoL. To be honest I don't even own a scale right now which I think is a godsend in my particular case. I get weighed once a month at my doctor's office and that is plenty. Unfortunately it only showed a two-pound loss this past month, but after going back over my diet I saw where I made my mistakes.

I stay away from the recipes as well when on induction. The one thing that I add is Dreamfields pasta.....never stalled me, just a thought.

Thanks Airica!

I have read quite a bit about Dreamfields pasta and from what I understand some folks seem to do very well with it, but in others it seems to induce stalls, especially during induction. I look forward to trying it out in later phases, but for right now I'm going to avoid it. And your advice regarding the recipes is spot-on. I won't be going 'there' again until I am well past induction. I definitely tend to over-indulge when preparing those recipes.

Me too! I haven't tried any LC pasta yet. I'm afraid of over indulging on anything that might be tempting to eat more of. Alfredo! Oh yeah! Especially sweets! My downfall. I might try it oneday but I'm sticking to a strict routine to stay focused. I need structure! lol
