Mock Danish in conventional oven????
Hi everyone,
I've been reading so much about how good this mock danish is that I'm just dying to have it, BUT I don't own a microwave (yes, shocking I know ). Anywho, has anyone tried to make a mock danish in a conventional oven? If so, HOW????!!!! ![]() |

Nope, pretty much trying to break the sweets habit by staying away from all that in induction. Perhaps check in the main forum too? Seems like someone must have made it in the oven!

Johanna (pretty name) You can make them in a skillet on the stove and some like it better this way. I always add double the cream cheese b/c I don't like the original recipe.

I just made this for breakfast on the stove. You do have to get the cream cheese softened so you can mix the egg with it..
There are many versions.. I made this one this morning: 1 ounce cream cheese, softened 2 eggs, beaten 1 package of Splenda Mix this in a bowl until cream cheese is not lumpy..Pour into a Pammed or buttered small frying pan..Cook one side, lifting the cooked egg to let the uncooked egg get cooked in the pan..Cook until top is not so liquidy and flip..and cook, then fold over and put on a dish. |
