W8, D2 - Wednesday 10/26 - WOrkin' It

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO! My scale moved!!!!!! I am finally and "officially" down to 189 - with clothes on (but I took my boots off! )...I think that my body's metabolism has started to kick in finally.....That was a helluva long stall!!!!! Longest I had ever had!

I tried on 2 more pairs of slacks last night and got them both buttoned and zipped (without lying on the bed, mind you!) so am wearing one pair today. I FEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL GOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!

Okay, enough of the horn blowing......

Went to the gym and did 62 minutes of cardio (elliptical and bike). Man, was it ever cold out between my car and the gym!

B: 2 devilled eggs and 2 sausage patties
L: chef salad w/o croutons or tomatoes with ranch dressing
D: whatever is easy - probably chicken wings, since I have to continue cleaning when I get home. Tonite is washing down my vanity and vacuuming my carpets....

2 days until my hunnie comes!!! I CANNOT wait! I have this wonderful feeling and nothing is going to louse up my week this week....the weight loss is just a topper! I have to make a list of what to take to the hotel room (candles, lingerie, wine (yes, Janet & mel..I said "vino!" ) - it's always romantic when we get together..he makes it so....

Anyway, wanted to share my good news with you all....I thank you so much for being here, and being supportive, and listening to me bi*ch, moan and gripe these last few weeks.....and for keeping my spirits up too! Thanks!!!!!

Gotta run - lots to do and little time to do it in...will update my stats too before signing off.

We are very similar Stevie. I am 5'8- 5'8 1/2, big boned, olive complexion.
my usual top end weight is 205, where I am now, but I recently went to 220, which I havent seen since I was pregnant with my son 16 years ago. If I knew how to upload a pic, I would, lol.

You're lucky Alexisinn

Because you have the height....I'm a miserable little 5-5" (always wanted to be 5'8" though!) and now that I've lost a litle more, I can go back to wearing heels more to give me that Illusion of looking a little skinnier, ya know?

I'm also big boned (and a little barrel chested) and I always carry 20 more pounds on me than people think I am. Which isn't a bad thing. My background though is swimming (in high school on the top team) and the workouts I'm getting are making me solid again, without the loose skin, so that's the main reason I'm keeping that up - son't want to have to deal with that. Plus, I'm making life changes to keep up the workout. It's really hard, since I'm asthmatic (AND a smoker!) so I"m hoping that hte workouts will help me when I quit (to not crave food all the time). When I gained 40 pounds back from my first time with this WOE, I had quit smoking and DANG!!!!! ALL FOOD tastes SOOOOO GOOOD when you've stopped smoking! That's waht makes it harder (for me anyway).

Gotta run...lots of work sitting on my desk and still need to input my food into FitDay.

Thanks for your encouragement and support you guys! It's been a long hard road but these little 3 pounds were worth it, for the way I'm feeling today!

Wow, STevie! Gret job breaking the 190! Proud of you!
And I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I sure know what you mean about quitting smoking. I quit (final one!) 1 /12 years ago and gained the 10 pounds I can't seem to gt rid of! Every other time I quit I gained and that made me go back to smoking. I decided not to do that this time! It's frustrating to not be able to lose like before, but I now believe it's MUCH better to not be smoking! When you ar ready youll do it too!

Good day to everyone else too!!

Menu:
B: babybel light cheese, hard boiled egg
L: chicken caesar salad
D: pork chop and spinach salad (that I was going to make last night but didn't!)
