W4D7 (Mon., 10/03): "Working It"
Hello everyone!
Not as busy as other times today, thank God! I had a meeting that was cancelled and since then I'm working on some project with a deadline for tomorrow - but not much of a big deal. Anyway, I'm going to have a strict induction week, so here's my menu for today: B: Coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs L: Omelette with ham, mushrooms and cheese, green salad D: Chicken with blue cheese sauce Snack: SF Jello Have a great day and week everyone! Hi Friends,
Just a quickie this morning since I am still working an early morning temp job. I cooked up a storm this weekend and have lots of induction-friendly foods to keep me honest. Yesterday was such a high when I got on the scales--twice to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. I dropped 3 pounds for the week, which is amazing because I am so close to goal and that sure isn't easy. I weighed in at 117 and that is a very new low for me--it's been more than 20 years since I've seen that number. I'll be eating more this week because I don't want to lose too fast at this stage of the game. Breakfast--Modified Dobie Muffin Snack--coffee with heavy cream, 1-1/2 deviled eggs, 5 olives Lunch--Chicken breast meat, sf jello w/Cool Whip, 5 olives Snack--3/4 oz. cheese, small amount of pork rinds Dinner--a protein food, sm. salad w/BC dressing Hope you all have a great day on Induction or your modified WOE. Keep it as clean as possible; it does wonders when we do. ![]()

Good morning all! I am kind of dragging here this morning but I have to get to walk before the day heats up. I havent had anything to drink(alcoholic that is) since Thursday night and Guess what? It hasnt made a hill of beans difference in my weight loss. Is it too soon to tell? In fact, I stayed on program all weekend eating very clean and I was up a pound this morning. Go figure that one. So I am kind of frustrated right now. Gotta shake it off.

Hello all!
Not the best day for me. I had some skin cancer removed this mroning which I thought was going to be a small little spot. Turns out what I could see was the tip of the iceberg. It left quite a gaping whole on the side of my nose. The Doc had to do quite a procedure to "close" it and now I am all swollen up and bandaged and it is starting to hurt and I'm starting to get a black eye. I was just not prepared for that!. But it put being 7 pounds overweight into perspective! So now I'm holed up at home for a few days because I look a fright! I don't know when I'll get the nerve to go back to work! Menu" B: deviled egg, 3/4 oz chunk of cheese L: Ham slices rolled w/ cream cheese D: I'm making the pumpkin sausage soup for comfort food!! Hope everyone has a good day (better than mine!) |

Patt3, I hope you get better soon!
![]() Think of the positive side, your nose will be completely changed and so will your face! I also have something similar on the side of my nose and so does my mum so it must be in the family My sister insists that I should get rid of it! |

Good Evening All,
Patt: I hope you get to feeling better. Let us know how your nose heals up. Anna: Goodluck on strict induction. I hope it works out for you. Let us know how you do.Stevie: I went to the grocery store and stocked up on all the "legal" fat fast items today. I'm going to start it tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed. Today was a good day actually. I went to town with my mom and oldest brother. We ate out at a Mexican resturaunt. I had chicken fajita's w/out the beans and rice. They gave me a side salad instead. That was my only meal for the day so far. We were so busy paying bills, and grocery shopping. I hope everyone else had a great day, and for those who don't feel so well, I hope you feel better soon.
