I'm really loving hard core! Every day I get on the scale I'm down another pound! Yes I know that will stop, but I'm enjoying it while it's happening.

Sandy I'm so very sorry about your cousin! He was way too young. My condolences to you and your family.
How did your xray go today?
Oh and may I chime in to tell you that a Charlie horse is what we call horrible leg cramps. I get them in my calves sometimes.

Welcome Eve! I'll have to try that quiche recipe too. Sounds yummy!

Sherlock that is the sweetest picture ever!

SAHM I love that dress! You look great!

Skinny, how's the fast going?

Bonny, MG, Kimber...you are true inspirations and I look forward to your posts and appreciate all your advice!

Well...stuck in the house again today with my 5 and 2 year olds because of this wacky Florida weather. Lots of thunderstorms here in Tampa. Luckily school starts next week, for them and me...

Have a super day all!!

Long story short, I am actually roughly the same weight that I was after I lost the weight in 2003, although at one point I had gained it all back.

I've been reading the boards for the past few days trying to get myself prepared to go back to low carbing. You are all very inspirational and the support you give each other is so fantastic! I hope to be able to contribute positively as well! I think 72' will be a good choice for me because I do better when I'm stricter with myself. I got off track on DANDR and ate low carb candies and other junk after induction.

Does anyone have a quiche recipe they could share? I think it will make a great breakfast during the work week.

Thank you and I look forward to getting to know you all!
Welcome to the group. Glad to have another supporter in the group. I am sure you will successful this time just stick with it.

Yankee, our kids are the same age. I have a 2 and 5 year old, both girls. My 5 year old starts Kindergarten next week and I am so excited!!!

I'm feeling so great today! Just went to the store and bought bacon ends and pieces to save money, but I splurged on some really good cheese. Wanted so bad to buy some salmon, but my budget won't allow for that this week!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

Bonny- how fun it must have been shopping to dress the new you! Glad you did that it is good to pamper yourself for all your hard work. Now you have to nodel some of your new clothes and pose for the camera.

Colleen- that is a super cute dress!

Kimber- better to look funny than to get sunburned. Getting burned is bad for you. I know what you mean about wanting to be tan when I was younger I use to layout too!

Yankee- the fast is going well so far. It is pretty easy but if you're not an egg fan I can see how it would get nauseating.

My weight is holding at 161.0 this morning. I took my oldest son to start his first day of transitional kindergarten. He did very well and seemed fine. My youngest son did not take leaving his older brother very well. He cried because he didn't want to leave him. I can't believe how fast kids grow! Hope everyone is having a good day today.

Colleen - Love the dress there! You do NOT look like you weigh 190 -- if your stats are correct!! You look amazing!! Keep up the good work and you will make it to goal in no time!

Bonny Jean - you crack me up with the not only buying new clothes but new jewelry too! That sounds like something I will do! I, too, have lost a full size in my feet so far. I think I may not need wide shoes by the time I am done losing!! Then I can wear the cute shoes again!!

Jo - I was really hoping that you would have had time to jump on this past weekend to let us know how you are doing now that school has started again. Maybe next weekend?!

MG - I LOVE seeing you get skinnier and more fit! It gives me the encouragement I need to keep on and succeed as well!

Time to head on out of here now that my dinner has settled and go walk around all the little gift shops.

Kimber! Shouldn't you be out eating some lobster smothered in butter right about now?

Thanks for the kind words, you made my night. I am at 188 even, I forgot to change my details.

Bonny-So glad you feel like a million bucks! You look it too. I can't believe you are SO close to your goal. What size are you wearing now? Where do you think you'll end up?

I need a whoosh! My goal is to be in the 160's by the time we leave for Floriday (Disney) November 2nd. I would love to reach 150 by Christmas, but I seem to lose a bit more slowly, so we'll see. I started on Mother's Day this year, so tomorrow is 3 months exactly. So far, I have lost 36 lbs.

Also, another incentive....my family always does a group Halloween costume for an annual Halloween party, we've been the Wizard of Oz, Toy Story, Pirates of the Carribbean to name a few. This year, the kids all want to go as the Justice League. SOOOOO, this Mommy is dressing up as Wonder Woman for Halloween. I refuse to purchase a plus sized WW costume..instead, I'm gonna be wearing a size Medium (fingers crossed). I figure at 160 I am usually a size 8-10, so that should work. I already bought everyone's costume but mine.

Jo - we miss you. Come say hello when you can!

Hi ladies;

I have returned from my trip with a heavy heart. We lost our little boston terrier Layla on Friday night. I am beside myself with grief. There were fireworks at the festival on Friday night and she took off running and didn't stop. We've been looking for her ever since, with no luck. She was last seen on a farm about 10 miles from the festival on Saturday afternoon and nothing since. I have flyers up and adds out and facebook pages and I've been door to door for the past three days. I am truly heartbroken.

Through it all, I did not cheat with food at all. I did however have 4 beers this weekend. Probably not great for my warrior game plan, but I needed something to get my nerves back in check. The scale says it didn't effect me, but we shall see tomorrow.

If everyone could send good thoughts this way for my sweet Layla to get back to us soon, I would really appreciate it.

I haven't read any posts yet, but I'm sure you ladies are doing awesome and congrats to all the losses that I'm sure I'll read about when I can get my head into it. For now all I can think about is my dog and how crushed I am that I didn't come home with her today.

Hi everyone! Hope we're all having a wonderful on plan day!

Eve and Weezer - Hope you enjoy the quiche.

Kim - you with the sun sounds just like me! I burned so many times when I was younger, never tanned, just burned. I loved being out in the sun. Fast forward to middle age and I got a really painful case of sun poisoning and that was the end of the sun for me.

Sandy - My condolences on the loss of your cousin, so young. I am glad you found your doughnut, hope you heal fast.

Bonny - I'm thinking about changing my goal too. Right now, I just want to get to 145!! I was back to 146.2 this morning, so fingers crossed I can break 146's tomorrow.

Colleen - Hey girl - you look just too cute in that dress!

Gotta go, I'll try to check back later tonight.

Stay on plan and you'll see it Wed or Thurs for sure!! You are getting on the small side though so I couldn't guarantee it but I'd be fairly confident and again if you've been sitting there 145-146 you might be in line for a whoosh. Fingers crossed for ya. Every morning I'm looking for that 149 myself so I feel ya!!

I'm so sorry about your furbaby. So very sorry. I know how excruciating that can be not knowing where your baby is. Keep the faith hon and we're all gonna pray your little girl is found safe and sound and none the worse for wear. I'm sure someone will help Layla find her way home. You've called all the local vets, shelters, radio stations, Facebook, etc, etc.

Hi everyone!

Bmac - I am very sorry to hear about your dog. I will say a prayer tonight for her safe return.

I made the quiche recipe this evening with the intent that it would be breakfast for the next week. My boyfriend and I grilled some pork for dinner. My boyfriend is allergic to wheat and therefore gluten free. He doesn't eat most grains at all because they don't agree with him, so it's super easy to eat low carb with him! Anyway, after dinner I cut the quiche into slices and he was like "That looks so good, I need a little piece." We split a piece in half and OH MY GOD it's so good!!!

So, my first day was a success. I feel good and didn't have any cravings or desire to cheat. I love Polar flavored seltzer water and I think it's great for a little something sweet that won't throw me off track so I had two of those today plus a lot of plain water. I wasn't hungry at all today, which was nice. I hope everyone else had a good day too!

Question: When will I be allowed a signature? I would like to put up a weight loss ticker for when I start to lose, but I tried and it said I'm not allowed to have one. I'm assuming it's because I don't have enough posts under my belt? Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone. Had a really busy weekend and today. My son's grad party went wonderfully he is so happy. I did good..not one piece of popcorn I can hardly believe I made it. I brought my own chicken and ate nothing off plan. I am down to 201, thought it would be more but realized I've been running around so much my water intake is way down.

BMAC - keep the faith, my friends dog was missing for 14 days. She was leaving for work and saw him laying by her pool on a lounge chair. He found his way home. ((HUGS)).

Will catch up more tomorrow, heading to bed early tonight.

Weezer - Forgot to ask, what town are you in? I technically live in Norwell, but spend half the week in Kingston at my boyfriend's house. I like Kingston better because it's got more of a country feel! (These towns are on the south shore if you're not familiar with them!)

We actually have 10 chickens in Kingston so I get my "pets" to make me a low carb breakfast every morning!

Bonny - I've actually been a member since 2005, so it must be 25 posts. Thanks for responding!

Delaney, she doesn't have a chip, but she has tags.

Tweaker, I wish it were as simple as her finding her own way home, but she was lost about 150 miles from home.

Hardest night for me last night. Its been pouring rain out and she hates the rain. She is only 10lbs and is probably freezing.

Hard to focus on anything but her right now.

255 this morning so yay on some of the water weight leaving (my ankles are still puffy).

Sorry to hear about your Layla Bmac. So happy that you are staying on plan--definitely a NSV for you!

Yay Sherlock for the 3 lbs down and just 1 more to go to hit what *I* call Twoterville I remember when I finally made it back into the 200's---never to see the 300's again!!! Now I'm almost 1/2 way to Onderland.

Colleen - We had steak last night but it will be a lobster night tonight!

Hope everyone has a good on plan day!

Bmac-sorry about your puppy. That is so hard. I hope someone has the decency to return him when they find him. Hugs

Sherlock- yay that is great, good job! Down another 3lbs is awesome! I'm sure you'll get to onederland faster than you think.

Evewas- lucky you having chickens produce breakfast for free!

Kimber- great job on getting the weight off. Even if it's water weight it still counts.

Neener- glad your son's party went well and you stayed on plan.

I'm not going to make my first goal in time. I really wanted to get to 199 by Saturday. I'm so bummed that I let myself go off plan. Soooooo not worth it!

Oh well, the important thing is that I reach my goal, not the time it takes to get there, right?
