Got my bloodwork results back already!!
------------------------No diet---------Low Fat/Low Calorie-------Low Carb!!
-----------------------2012------------------2013--------------------2014
Total Cholesterol----------288-----------------219----------------------192
Triglycerides---------------134------------------98-----------------------99
HDL--------------------------29------------------48-----------------------36
LDL-------------------------232-----------------151----------------------136

My Dr was so impressed! She told me to keep doing what I'm doing and that once I stop losing weight and start dieting the other numbers will go to within the normal range! I was so excited to text my hubby those numbers because he has been worried about all the fatty meat I've been eating! WooHoo!!!!!

And also....my blood pressure is 126/82!! Still a little high but no meds for me!! Again, she said more weight loss and exercise will bring that down even further!

Very good Kimber!

My doctor is unimpressed with my numbers...hopefully in a few months I can bring them down!

Delaney = I've been low carb since January and Hard Core since the end of April so I think that is why my numbers improved so much. I think Dr A said to wait 6 months to see nice results.

Kim - A big congratulations to you on those bloodwork numbers, wonderful!!

Congrats also to Cathy, Neener, MthrGoos and Colleen on your losses!

As for me my 145.6 was short-lived (1 day!!) as I suspected it would be - I was back to my usual 146.2 today. I will eventually stay steady in the 145.something range for awhile but, man, it's a struggle to get there!

Kimber, your numbers look great! I will be getting my new cholesterol panel in about 2 weeks and I am curious to see how it compares to the last one which was perfect. My doc may be taking me off my chol. med if it looks as good.

255.8! A new low! Hopefully my body is ready to quit fooling around and get to losing at a steady pace again!

Busy day today. I work til noon then it's off to get a manicure and pedicure! Then I need to go grocery shopping with my son so he has enough food in the house for the next 2 weeks and then it's home to finish cleaning the house. Tomorrow is packing day (ugh! I HATE this chore, I always get so stressed out!).

Hope everyone has a good on plan day!

Yay! Congrats kimber on the scale and blood work numbers!!

I'm down today. New low of 193.6. Woohoo! I'm off to the Scottish highland games this weekend and will probably be out of touch after tonight.

I made some homemade burgers and stuffed chicken last night for the weekend. Super excited to try them. Also bringing a honking steak too!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and great losses are seen.

I hope it's good, I haven't tried it yet. I will tonight, I just baked it yesterday because I don't have a lot of time when I get home tonight.

Anyway, it's basically Paulette's chicken Kiev recipe, but I added cheese(provolone) and bacon to the inside. It smelled AMAZING and looks pretty tasty. I'll keep you posted when I take a bite!

Good Morning Friends!

Well, we are back to home sweet home! We wrapped up our vacation two days earlier than planned because my husband coaches youth football for my son's team and they have to attend a combine and draft. It's okay, it'll give me two extra days to get unpacked and organized here at home after all the travel.

I weighed this morning on my regular scale here at home and I am 188.6.

My body seems to be cooperating the last few days as I've seen a daily downward movement on the scale (that doesn't always happen for me)..I am hoping this trend continues!

I have to go to the grocery store sometime later today to stock up on my usual meats, cheeses, and drinks!

bmac- congrats on seeing another low! that's awesome! have a great time at the highland games!

kimber- congrats on your new low too! enjoy your trip! Eat lots and lots of lobster!

Everyone else..Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Will check back later!

Colleen

Good morning! Scale was up .2 today so pretty much stayed the same. It was expected after a 2.2 lb loss yesterday. So my appetite is all but gone, nothing sounds good anymore. Yesterday I couldn't eat much of the breakfast and ended up skipping lunch. Had an omelet for dinner and it was fine.

DH wants to do dinner and a movie Friday night but I'm worried about eating out at this point. Maybe we can find a place with steak and shrimp for me.

So far today I had 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties, lunch will be chicken salad.
I haven't figured out dinner yet, probably some venison steak.

Skinny - Just keep working the program and that scale will have no choice to move down! Unfortunately, our bodies do some weird holding onto water sometimes and it can get very frustrating but don't give up! Be more stubborn than you body!

catr31 - You are doing fantastic! Enjoy your time out

Colleen - Welcome Home! So glad that you had a good time and some good losses too!

Bmac - How was your souped up Kiev?! Love seeing your steady losses!

MG - WOW!! Your body is in full fat loss mode even as tiny as you are! You amaze me with all that exercise you are able to do now. Looking forward to joining you next summer

Bonny-Jean -- Where are you today? Hope all is well with you

This place is dead today. Where is everybody?!

I'm here, Kim. Nothing new with me but happy to see everyone's losses, (jealous, but happy!).

I am surprised that no one's around either, usually when I check in I have 3 or 4 pages to catch up on. Quiet day, I guess.

Good morning all!!
Congrats Kimber...and all the losers!! Way to go!!
My kitchen project is pretty much done (DH has a little bit more painting to complete)...
Scales aren't moving ....so I am ignoring the scales for a bit. Hoping for a whoosh at some point...
Taking DS to a lunch & swimming play date. My friend is making me (us) a bacon frittata...while the kids have pizza.
Before I leave, I will put some ribs into the oven...low and slow! Yum!

Morning.

Dancing with one pound again, was up to 203 yesterday back down to 202 today. Trying to knock on onderland's door...lemme in!

Kimber So glad the scale moved for ya! I find I pack as if I am going to a 3rd world country that won't have a single amenity lol. You should see what I have packed so far for my son to leave for college. I've managed to fit a drug store in a box for a person that rarely gets sick..LOL The school has a healther center, they can borrow stuff from Connor if they need to

MthG - have you added any additional carbs? I have a long way to go until I think about maintenance just wondering how it works for you a this point.

BMAC - where is the update on that chicken? I dunno what I a making today. I've had to eat out three times this week. I think I did OK though I didn't gain, corse I didn't lose either.

Skinny - stick with it you will have a woosh soon hoping its a few pounds for you! Hopefullyl we'll woosh together..this has been slow going for me, slower than 10 years ago when I did this plan.

Colleen - so glad you had a great trip and GOOD FOR YOU for sticking to the plan!!

catr - how did dinner go?

Morning ladies!!

All set up and enjoying my quiet time at the highland games right now. My mom brings my little guy tonight and I miss him like crazy!

Stuffed chicken Kiev thingy=AMAZING!! Definitely will be one of my go to meals from now on. I just have to figure out how to pound my chicken a but better. I think I got carried away cause it was slightly falling apart lol.

Up 0.8 today. I ate a whole (small) bag of pork rinds yesterday at the fire though. They're so good, but they always bump me up a but for a day. Its all good though. I'm wearing my size large dress right now and I'm pretty pumped about that. I also had to get my kilt taken in 6 inch's from last year! It was way too small last year when I squished my butt in it so that's a huge non-scale victory for me!

Congrats on the losses and kimber have fun in Maine! Eat lots of lobster for us all! I guess Jo must be pretty busy prepping for school, she's been quiet for a while.

Have a great weekend ladies!

Hi ladies (and gents?). Longtime lurker here. I haven't started A72, but after seeing the amounts of success, I may join you all! See, i'm getting married next year and i'd like to be half my current size (my wedding dress is a 14, but in reg clothes i'm a 10ish) by then. DF and I are going to be doing engagement photos soon, and I don't want to look bad in them! So I figure I would do a very clean hardcore A72 to get that ball rolling.

Just one problem: every time I do LC, i am HUNGRY. Not just hungry, but "bottom less pit, someone feed me a whole cow, family of chickens, and half the ocean" hungry I *think* i suspect what may be causing my hunger - it's either caffeine, AS or....too much fat. Yep. Fat does nothing for my hunger unfortunately. Oh and I drink about a gallon of water a day. Should I up that even more?

So before I jump in, are there any tips, hints or suggestions that might make this time "THE" time that i FINALLY do well on this?
