I just want to say congrats to Paulette.. Your pictures really show a great transformation and I'm glad your new jeans fit! Awesome!!

I am down to an even 190 this morning. I still have a few days left on vacation so I'm hopeful I'll see the 180's by the time I head home. TOM of month slowed me a bit on the trip, but now the scale is moving pretty good for me.

Have a great day and keep up the great progress!! Thinking of all of you!

Colleen
Colleen you have a beautiful family! Looks like you are having fun with the family. Yay forthe scale moving down! Keep up the good work.

Hi Ashley As far as I know mozza doesn't come in a hard block and I don't think Dr. A was against a "soft" cheese as much as a "processed" cheese. Mozza in it's purist form is soft I believe and regardless of what was the norm was 40+ yrs ago, today's labels is what we have to go by and 1 oz of mozza is only 1 carb, same as hard or block cheese. An entire cup shredded is only 2 carbs but at that amount, there's also 1 gr sugar so as long as you keep it under 4 oz a day, you'll be fine.

Thanks for the nice compliment on my family. They are all very good kids. We feel blessed. They definitely make life fun and interesting. You'd think with all the running around I do with them I'd be a size zero! LOL

It wasn't a craving or anything, I was just on the run and famished so just grabbed some meat and the cheese. When I was eating it it reminded me of pizza. The cravings lessen as you stay on plan and of course the longer you're in Induction the less some foods bother us. Again, I don't think there's an issue with the softness of the cheese as much as how much a cheese has been processed. 1 oz of mozza has exactly the same carbs as 1 oz of block or hard cheddar or otherwise, so to me, it's the same thing only different.

I'm having a great time, but I'm pretty sure my daughter is trying to kill me! I know I've told you she has a small fitness studio, so I've been going to all of her classes with her. Here is an example of what we did on Saturday...... Stand up paddle board in the morning, 2 exercise classes in the afternoon, a 5k that night, followed by midnight yoga. Today was Pilates in the morning, then kickboxing in the afternoon, immediately followed by an insanity class, and the trampoline park tonight. Oh my heavens! Every day is like this. I may not survive this vacation,

I've attached a picture of my grand kids and I at the 5k.
Are you on vacation or bootcamp

Congrats weezer! I love those types of victories. Bonny-Jean, I eat mozza all the time with no issues. Its not the crazy good extra creamy soft stuff, but still mozza.

Checking in for the day. Been having great on plan days and no cheats so far. Tuna salad for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and then dinner is steak and deviled eggs.

Weird thing happened.... TOM started yesterday morning right on time but by dinner time it was gone. So far today, nothing. Anyone else have weird periods? It will probably start again in the next couple of days I'm assuming.

Weighed myself today and down a smidgen. Clothes are definitely looser and I'm almost able to wear a pair of shorts that I couldn't get into a month ago.

Yes! Mine was all over the map for the first six months of this year. Could it be stress? Are you doing any new, strenuous exercise?

I'm not doing any strenuous exercise nor have I been any more stressed than usual. I use a period tracker and its always been spot on calculating the start day. I'm not going to worry about it, but it would be nice to get it started and over with.

Yay weezer! How excited you must have been. You're doing something right.

Cathy- maybe your period is down to 1 day now on this WOE. Last month my period was on time but we will see how it goes this month. I did notice it was shorter than before only two days.

Cathy, my TOM is a nightmare right now. First month was normal. Second started two days early, which is unheard of for me. This month it started 9 days early!!!! It lasted 9 days and stopped for two days and today it is back with a vengeance!! I'm quite po'd about the whole situation...but I've done a bit of research and it is pretty common when you lose weight fast. There is estrogen in your fat cells and when you lose fat it goes into your blood stream and tricks your body into thinking it is time to menstruate... Or not...depending on how your body handles the estrogen. So female hormones are against us again!!! Lol

Cathy - those smidgens add up!

Well, I'm not at 145, yet, but I finally broke the 146 barrier that I've been struggling with for so long. Bonny-Jean and Paulette - you helped me get to this with your telling me to keep going the scale would move eventually - I was 145.6 this morning! I had to step on the scale a couple of times to make sure it was true -- I'm taking it! It's logged into my journal so that should inspire me!

Everyone keep eating and losing! We've got this!

I'm making some homemade jello with my gelatin and the sf syrups...blueberry, chocolate, and caramel!! Super excited!

Bmac that jello sounds delicious! Chocolate pudding yum.

My ribs turned out soo good they had a lot of meat and fat on them. It is so weird how I am barely hungry on this woe. I had 4 ribs and I was full. I had a cup of vanilla tea and will have some SF jello in a bit. No exercise for me today but I will be back at it tomorrow. Some days it is hard to get out of the house with three kids fed and dressed to make it to my class on time.
