I'm really hoping for onederland tomorrow. I only have 0.1 to go!
Cool on you weighing less at the doc's then at home, that's always a plus. Like MG said, the doc's scales are usually more accurate than ours at home!!

I always weigh 3 lbs less at my doc's then at home too!!

I'm over here pushing you under that 200lb mark, can you feel it?? You are doing so well, 200lbs will be tail lights down the highway....

Need to get a dr's scale at home to see lower number.

My birthday goal is on 8/18 to be at 150. That would be the best gift to myself. exactly one month from now.

I added pictures to my profile two days ago but it still hasn't shown up anyone have that problem before?

I use Louisiana Original Hot Sauce, it's inexpensive (I buy it by the quart size) and it has no carbs. It's just peppers and vinegar and has a lovely taste, at least to me.

7/8 211 4
7/9 209 -2
7/10 205 -4
7/11 208 3

7/15 207 -1
7/16 207 0 TOM
7/17 205 -2
7/18 206 1

Today I ate a thin steak 1/2 for breakfast with a fried egg, lunch I had the other half. Snack I had 4 green olives stuff with provolone and for dinner 3 chicken wings with red hot and butter on them. I drank 1 diet mt dew and then lots of water over 64 oz.

I swam for 40 minutes.

I don't typically have olives every day. I ate them a few weeks ago and thought maybe they were too salty. So I won't have a any until next week but do love them so.

I will post for a few days but this is typically what I eat. I rarely even eat lettuce.

Neener: May I offer MY observation. The food looks okay but at your weight right now, and no offense but your amounts look a tad light there my dear. Not eating enough will cause you more problems than sometimes eating too much but that's just the way I see it. Again, if you're eating when hungry and only till full, then I guess that's fine but for me, that would have been too little amounts when I was at the same weight. You're not watching calories right now, are you?

Nope not paying attention to my calories at all. I eat when I'm hungry. Today is a pretty light day, I'm feeling a little hungry now I may have a few slices of pepperoni and 2 oz of cheddar. I bought some good quality cheddar yesterday it is yummy

Congrats on you recent losses Bonny-Jean!!

Thanks dear. Okay, so does another day look different?
I don't know if the last 18 days have been better cause I reduced my eggs or is it because I eat my evening meal much earlier now. Not sure but I'm not gonna mess with what's working right now.
What do you drink?

I'm so happy that we finally have a thread for our hardcore selves! We are all going to rock this because we have the determination and more importantly...each other for support and advice!

Congrats to both MG and Bonny Jean for dropping yet more weight!! You gals are terrific role models....showing us all how its done! I'm here to soak up all your knowledge like a sponge and apply it to my own life so that I too may be successful.

I'm thankful that Just Jo is here to show us what maintaining looks like!

I'm hoping that my losing streak continues. I sure would LOVE to make it to 250 by August 9th (the day I leave for vacation in Maine).

I was just in the garage looking for something and came across the storage containers of all my size 10's and 12's. I had a bit of a pity party, as I always do when I come across them. I hate myself for getting fat again. And then because I hate myself, I console myself with food. Vicious circle. At the beginning of the year, I was so determined. I don't know what happened. I seriously need this group to keep me focused and accountable. But now I'm worried all my heroes are gonna get to goal and LEAVE ME!

Lilac - I still have over a year to go until I reach goal and then I plan on sticking around for maintenance because I'm sure I will need just as much support and encouragement during that phase of this process.

Kimber: Thank you very much. I've told you before we are so very happy for you and proud of the hard work you're doing. You are our rising star!!

Lilac: Well, at least you have a wardrobe when you get back down again. I've spent a small fortune trying to keep proper fitting clothes for work.
No worries about me leaving. I'm not even at maintenance yet and that sounds like it's gonna be some work. Our grand maintenance Queen is still here, Jo of course, so I'm pretty sure MamaG and I will be hanging around too. Thanks for all support my friend. Anything you need on this journey, I/we will be happy to help you.

I'm glad you wonderful ladies are not leaving me. I have abandonment issues!

I'm all stocked up on eggs, ground beef, steak, and a block of Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese. I'm not looking back - I'm looking ahead!

I finally got the size 20 jeans I ordered. They do not fit me yet, but I hope to be squeezing into them by next month!

Today: Breakfast - coffee with cream, Lunch - 8oz of a grilled Porterhouse (saving the rest for tomorrow's lunch) Dinner - nothing, but did drink 2 more cups of coffee with cream.

I will be up late working tonight, so I plan on having a slice of cheese in a little bit to tide me over.

I have been retaining water the past 2 days - I am hoping to se that pass soon!!!! It is very annoying.

CONGRATS MTHRGOOS ON NO LONGER BEING OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although you do not look overweight in your photo. Silly how they say you were in the "overweight" category.... But you finally met your ultimate goal.

Way to go Lilac! Perfect foods. If you get a chance, try the Tillamook Extra Sharp Vintage Aged White Cheddar. I grabbed it once by mistake, and OMG it was amazing! My favorite cheese ever. Don't let those clothes upset you, just look at them as motivation. We've ALL gained and lost and repeated the cycle, you are NOT alone in this. And we are not going any where! Losing the weight is only the beginning.

Kimber, good to see you! You are just doing an amazing job.

Atkins 72 Rocks!

Hi All

I have been a longtime lurker and believe I have finally found how to post a message.

I just want to say what a fantastic positive group of people you all are. I started out with the "new" atkins and lost ok the first week, then put on for the next couple. I then started looking online to see where I was going wrong and accidentally came across this site and the Atkins Induction thread.

After reading through all the posts I have come away with so much information that I have put into practice.

I measure in kgs and have managed 9kgs in the last 10 weeks and I would say this is due to all the wonderful advice I have received from you all.

Marie

I am in this for the long haul so thank you ladies you are truly inspiring and I welcome any advice that ensures me reaching my goal.
