Well, the only place I've ever found an amply supply was at Wal-Mart and they ran out of the Almond/Coconut Blend within a few days hence buying the coconut and finding a preference for that one.

Did you give up caffeine? I did that one year for Lint and had a monster headache for like 5 days... some people have to give up caffeine on this LC WOE, but I've never had to...

Hope you feel better soon!!

Good morning everyone. Ejw55 I don't know if you found the answer to your question if you didn't this is what I did. I looked through a lot of threads and found one on how to add a ticker. You have to have 60 post and I think 60 days as a member to qualify. If you don't meet the requirements and still really want a ticker you could email Cherilynn the administrator and she would be more than happy to help you. Her email is cherilynn8@hotmail.com I hope this helps you.

Just Jo you also need to do something nice for yourself. Seeing loses like yours is not only encouraging it is also proof that this woe really works if you stick with it. A very big congratulations on your accomplishment and I will keep looking out for your words of wisdom.

Just Jo-my tracker is set to net carbs from doing the newer Atkins and I have no idea how to change it back.

Here I am...day 4. My bad mood is still lingering, but that just may be because my body is hurting all over from a flare up of all of my medical illnesses. I won't bore you with the details though. Pain makes me want to medicate with food but I am doing my darnedest to overcome this demon!

ejw55-i am a brussell sprouts freak! I love them so much. I will add them back in later when I get the rest of my weight off.

ejw, I agree with Jo, that caffeine withdrawal headache is worse than any carb flu! UGH!! I was in the hospital this summer, and on a morphine drip, and although I had no pain from my surgery, even the morphine didn't quench the caffeine withdrawal headache. So if you gave up caffeine, I would think that's the culprit.

I haven't given up caffine...had a diet coke this morning and iced tea the rest of the day. Not a monster head ache....just enough to be annoying but I do feel very lethargic...yesterday I had a bundle of energy.
Maybe I am just coming down with something...throat is scratchy yesterday and today.
I like the little smileys...can't you tell!

Ok, then I would say to drink some broth if you can. Chicken broth, beef broth, doesn't matter. Just make sure it doesn't have added sugar. Could be that your electrolytes are out of balance because of the diuretic effect that this way of eating can have on you. Don't worry, it won't last!

coffee withdrawals

I remember several years ago not having coffee for about 3-4 days. I had the worse headache that I can remember in a long time. Almost to the point of feeling physically ill. That & the Atkin's flu, you must be having a real head pounder.
The broth will help for the Atkin's induced headaches but I'm at a loss about the caffeine withdrawals

She's not in caffeine withdrawls as she had tea and diet coke

I will second the broth idea. I like to make my own so as to avoid sugar. I just put a chicken carcass in my crockpot, fill it up with filtered water, add two tbsp apple cider vinegar and a good bit of real salt. Let it simmer for 24 hours. Yum!

So....what's on the Atkins '72 people's menu for tomorrow? I'm having smoked beef brisket. I can't tell you how excited I am about it. We had a cookout last night also and I had a grassed hamburger w/mayo and applegate uncured hotdogs. They are the best!

Just a normal day for us tomorrow. Monday is always our day off, so it will be the usual. We always go out for breakfast on Monday's and I get bacon and eggs. I'll be prepping our food for the week, so I usually snack on bites of bacon while I'm cooking, and then a steak on the grill for dinner. Boring I know, but it works for me. LOL

My family is having a cook out tomorrow and there will be plenty of meat for me to eat and I'm planning to have green salad. I will bring deviled eggs. as well, I made carrot cake which I will NOT indulge in. I'm the family baker, people are accustomed to me bringing dessert, we may have to change that.

ejw, Just think about how you'll feel after you eat it. Disappointed in yourself, frustrated, and angry. So not worth it! The progress you're making feels so much better.

Thanks newslimsexy!! I have been treating myself, got me some new clothes (size 4 jeans and sm/med blouses)!! I'm also going on a Girl's Get Away to Florida with my DD who lives in Phnx Az and visit my other DD that lives in Florida (we are leaving the DHs at home to dog sit) last week in June. My Dad and bro live in FL as well. So that's going to be fun since they haven't seen me in about 3 years and 142 lbs HEAVIER!

Hey ejw, think instead of the foods you can have, not what you CAN'T have or you'll have problems being successful on your WOE journey.

Tweaker Geek has a lovely quote that is very inspirational:

“Nothing Tastes as Good as Being at my Personal Weight Goal Will Feel!”

~~~~Wishing all of us much success on our personal LC WOE journeys!
Nothing different then what I've had since I started this new journey. I refuse to celebrate with food no matter the event, cause let's face it, we can have food celebrations every day of the year and that's what got me into this mess to begin with! I am having 6 oz salad and broiled cod.
JO, isn't it funny that we find we can enjoy the event, situation, or whatever without having off plan food? I was just thinking about that yesterday. I was thinking that I'm at goal now, if a situation occurs, I CAN have a treat meal if I want one...... and then I thought, would I REALLY enjoy the situation any more if I was eating something off plan than if I was just eating something on plan? The answer is no. Why did it take me so long to realize that????? LOL
Yep I agree 100%, it's taken me a long time to realize that too, MG. Like I posted to ejw, Tweaker's quote is soooo perfect. It's SO Not worth it!!! I changed up her quote to fit my situation now:
“Nothing Tastes as Good as Being at my Personal Weight Goal Feels!”
I don't think I'd ever be able to handle a "cheat" meal -- I am such a weakling /addict when it comes to crappy carbs... so I don't plan to EVER eat off plan. Cause I'm the type that wants the whole pie, not just a slice!!
Anyways, I love what I eat, it's simple, it's basic and I don't spend a lot of time prepping or touching the food... triggers to my portion control issues... Didn't someone say that true wisdom is acknowledging your faults/downfalls? I am so much wiser now!!
