Was Dr. A a Buddhist?

On the cover of my book Dr. A is sitting behind a desk and has several buddhist statues on it. Was he a buddhist?

BTW I read an article on him and this cover of this book and did not get an answer but I did learn that a comedian on an talk show I never heard of made fun of him a lot for it. Probably would not have gone that way if the pic was released today I suspect.

LOL James, I tried Googling this and I think I came across the same article! It had a ton of info on him, but didn't mention Buddhism.

At the front of the desk (close to where I was sitting) was placed a Buddha—not meant as a religious symbol. (My first glimpse at his fabulously rye sense of humor).
lol difference of opinion of how to interpret that statement. I myself assumed that like many, he enjoyed the Budda statues for their beauty versus the spiritual meaning. I know for sure he was one enlightened being regardless if he practiced Buddhism or not I bet if you slid on over to another site and asked that question to someone who worked with him you'd get the answer cause its certainly not a hipaa thing. Let us know!
