Cheat night went completely off Low carb and started back this morning.

I've been on Atkins for 2 months total of 15 lost. For 3-4 weeks the scale was not moving. So, last night I went off atkins... I feel horrible about doing it , cause I pigged out! Anywho I restarted this morning. Has anyone tried this? Its not going to be a thing I'll do all the time just this one time.. I'm scared it may affect my weight loss.. Any one done this?

I think everyone one that is in it for the long haul does it except for one. Just know before you do it what the consequences will be and be fine with it.

i do this all the time, lol. it can either set you back by packing on some water weight pounds or it might jumpstart your losses now since you stalled. no way of knowing, the important thing is getting right back on plan! i wouldn't worry about it, it happens to all of us.

Unfortunately yes that does happen to me sometimes, I really try not to but sometimes it happens. I try to get right back to it as fast as possible. Usually I can start next morning clean. I don't check my weight for a week then, because when I have I can be up 7 pounds. (I know it's not fat gain, but it just still upsets to see the numbers).
I try to just eat meat and water for a day or two to get the cravings out of the system.
Get right back to it and good luck to you.

Stats: 150 pounds to lose.
WOE: No Starch/Sugar/Flour --JUDD induc.UD 4/10/14
Start Date: March 16th 2014 - Will Weigh April 24th
The other day on day 4 I had to drink a coffee energy drink (29g sugar/carb) to stay awake on a drive. I didn't feel too bad, just knew it may derail me for a day or two. I also stopped at my favorite coffee shop and instead of ordering a 20 oz carmel mocha - my standard - I got a 12 oz sugar free carmel mocha.
I was still in ketosis the next day.

Just don't give up.

WOE: Atkins '72 -- Induction Week 1 < 8 carbs

We all do it Cadet. But I've only done it once since I restarted 5 July 2013 and it was for Thanksgiving -- 5 days of toxic, poisonous carbs. Gained 7-9 lbs and took me that long to lose those. I felt guilty for being so stupid. I smacked myself around and said not again.

I had worked hard up to that point and had decided that I wasn't going to be on a diet for Thanksgiving... I had a good talk with myself and realized this was NOT a diet but a WOE and a WOL. If I ate carbs I was killing the best parts of me, my health and my self-esteem.

That being said, I hope you continue to follow your LC WOE and I wish you much success on your journey!!

“Success is not Final. Failure is not Fatal.
It’s the Courage to Continue that Counts.” Winston Churchill

“This WOE is not a diet,
It’s my salvation, my key to being
Healthy, happy and thinner!”

Yes, it could definitely be because of working out. Exercise is great for your overall health, but not necessarily conducive to "scale" losses. So don't let the scale rule your emotions, or make you think you aren't losing. Your clothes are a much better way to tell.
