Formula for Macros
I'm looking for the formula used to determine the macros appropriate for losing weight. The one that will tell you how many grams of protein/ fat and carbs to target every day for weight loss.
Can someone point me in the right direction on that?
I am rusty on 72' and my book has not arrived but Joseph Arcita: A Guide to Ketosis might help you.
That article is pretty spot on
"The ideal macro-nutrient ketogenic ratio is this: 65% of your calories should come from fats, 30% from proteins and 5% from fibrous carbohydrates"
In A'72 there are no specific ratio for the energy nutrients (protein, fat & carbs).
