I'm Back and By George I think I have FINALLY got it!!!

Was in and out of here a short while ago but the losses were so minimal that I thought that 72 just wasn't going to work for me. Even though I tried another approach (Carb Cycling) I kept coming back to this as it was the simplest and easiest and felt the most natural to me. Started anew this month but made one little change~~adding the 1 cup of salad twice a day and guess what~~ IT IS WORKING!!!!! Seeing the losses I yearned for all that time!!! I had avoided the salads before thinking that they would bring added carbs but it seems that I should have been following the book and not trying to improve on it.

Yah!!!!! I am also upping my salads, the only issue with me is that I can not stand a "cold" salad, I have to have it room temperature in order to like it at all. My fridge keeps things so freezing cold, that a freezing cold cucumber slice or cauliflower, cheese, lettuce etc..just isnt appealing to eat. ( I know, I am weird lol).
It has to be "Semi cold/room temp" then i can scarf it up!!

HAHA The things we have to do in order to GET..IT..IN!

I am glad you are seeing results, I am awaiting the day I see the Swooosh Fairy!! I am only on week 1, and its a 1/2lb loss, BUT I will take it.... and continue on my low carbin' way

SpunkiMama, you are NOT weird! I don't like ice cold salads, either. I've been known to nuke mine for a few seconds to get the chill off. I especially do it if I'm having a BLT salad or a taco salad. I just nuked my chicken salad (chicken, mayo, slivered almonds) for a few seconds to get the chill off. It's like you can't really taste everything unless the chill is off.

Warm salad-eaters, unite!
