Menu Plan for the day
Love spontaneity but sometimes it makes a mess of my good intentions for the day so thought I would state ahead of time my menu plans for the day and see if it helps me to be more accountable and to beg the good advice of those more experienced with '72 on here.....please feel free to join me or to critique?? :confused: ~~ Thanks in advance!!
2 LARGE cups coffee HWC, 2 drops EZ Squeez, 1tbs Coconut Oil in each
2 small breakfast sausage patties
2 boiled eggs chopped with 2 tbs Olive Oil Mayo and 2 sausage patties
2 Sugar Free Jellos
D: Grilled Pork Chop, 1 cup salad with ranch dressing
It seems to me that you should include lettuce, celery and radishes.
Pork is very high in sodium, we tend to hold water, causing us to stall from too much pork. Seems like you have too much of pork on your menu.
I would suggest incorporating beef and chicken and fish.
Keep in mind, most sausages contain nitrates, also cause us to stall.
Yes, it was a pork day, not the usual but what I had on hand at the moment. I did enjoy a salad at dinner with a little bit of Olive Oil Mayo rather than salad dressing. Today tuna was the lunch of choice and I really enjoyed that not sure what dinner will be yet but need to keep it simple!!! Thanks so much for the input, I appreciate it!!!:shake:
my menu today:
l- cabbage roll soup
d- shrimp & small salad
snack if needed: i brought some blueberries
B: skipped it
S: Coffee with half and half
L: tuna salad, greens and cucumbers topped with oil/vinegar
s: coffee again
D: chef's salad
I honestly feel like I feel better and get into ketosis faster with fresh pork than other meats, although I agree that limiting the sausage and stuff with sodium/fillers/nitrates is surely wiser. it tastes so dern good though.
B- bacon & eggs :heart:

D- ribeye & green beans

so i just threw everything in a crockpot and made it soup. yummy
shredded head of cabbage
browned ground beef
homemade stewed tomatoes or use can use diced canned tomotoes
bunch of spices~garlic, pepper, tomato sea salt, franks hot sauce, italian seasoning, minced onion
easy and filling :yummy:
I hope my day is set corretcly.. First day back to what I love verse dukan style all lean no fat boring lol
ok today had
breakfast- spoon full butter and steamed chicken breast with 2 eggs
lunch- had spoon butter and steamed chicken breast with about 3ozs estimate small amount of steak
not sure rest day but deff meat and eggs and fat lol :)
Sleepy, that soup sounds too good. I think I will try it this weekend.
today, I'm doing a very low calorie, low food day:
B: a small cup of strawberries and 1/2 cup cottage cheese with cinnimon
L: small amount of tuna salad, with cucumbers and mixed green salad
D: don't know yet...maybe some scrambled eggs? Something simple with ~0 carbs
snacks: My ubiquitous coffee and cream

im so glad im back on Atkins
i tried doing another round of hcg but wasted it, i can never do that again :sick: too hard and i love to eat :)

trying a clean approach only meat and fat lol
Amazon sells 5 lb bags of plain gelatin. If you add extra gelatin to your sugar free jello, alogn with some lemon juice and ez-sweet, you can get delicious firm jello. If you lower the water to gelatin and flavoring ration even more you can make low carb gummy snacks.
