Today is day 12 on induction.

Have been sticking to plan, no cheats! Even during a visit to a buffet, I managed to stay on course. I may have eaten too much salad, but that's it.

weight this morning: 221.4

D; lettuce with blue cheese, soft boiled eggs

Vitamins : yes
Enough water,: no
Exercise: 25 minutes

Just venting

Gosh, sometimes I look at how far I have to go and it's just so discouraging. At the slow rate this weight is currently coming off, it feels like it will be forever until I start getting close to anything like a desirable weight. I figure another 70 lbs to go (gulp) and even then I'll still be a wee bit on the heavy side.

But clearly giving up is not even an option. Even if it's just a half pound lost here or there, I have to keep doing it. This weight has to come off, I just hope it starts dropping a little bit faster for the sake of my optimism.

I hear ya, Poppies. I made the decision to stay low carb but definitely go back to JUDDD. Have already had a great loss - just gotta tolerate the bounces!

I've had no cheats whatsoever since getting schooled on how to properly do Atkins '72. Last week I began OWL by adding in about 1/4 cup of guacamole or extra greens. I've been at exactly 222 lbs for the past 3 or 4 days, but I sense that a whoosh is coming.

today:
B: bacn and eggs
S: coffee, hwc (4 tb)
L: pork roast, 2 cups salad greens, ranch dressing
D: Probably pork roast, 1 cup salad greens, maybe some cheese on top

Poppie I am so glad to see that you are still plugging away here.....I had to take a few weeks off due to some digestive issues but worked through that and got back on track this week.....took 4 day s to lose the 7 lbs that I picked up but it is gone now so I am hoping to see some steady drops. Looks like you and I have about the same amount to lose now so here's to both of us doing it!!! Onward and Upward
