Rebooting - Old School Atkins
I have always struggled with my weight. Living low carb got me where I need to be but weight is creeping back on. Is there a group out there that wants to lose 30 lbs in 2 months with me? I need support of like minded people....

on our way!
Yes, I've done it before... Seems like the easier the better for me. Weight came off (70 lbs) and now 15 has creeped on. Picked 30 lb goal, but I don't know whether that is achievable. It doesn't matter. My first goal is 15 by mid June. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and anyone else that jumps on. I just want to make the best of what I have been given!! Looking forward to 2 week pure induction!! Lets do it!

How is everyone doing?
Feeling kind of bad. Headaches and slept poorly. Hopefully I will lose some water today as I feel a bit puffy, usually I let go of the water on Day 2 or 3. Had scrambled eggs w/1/2 oz. cheese and chicken for breakfast. Planning on making a big batch of ribs for dinner. ![]() |

There is more of us around . I am on week 3 of extended Atkins 72. I will try and check in with you guys as well. My weigh in this morning was 88.9 or 195.8 lbs, down a tad nothing spectacular.

I'm in like flynn
I am on a diet my doc has me on until 5/28. I'm only eating one meal at night for the time being and 4 low carb protein shakes. Trying to heal up an ulcer in my pouch. (I had gastric bypass 12 years ago). My Atkins 72 book is being shipped and will be here by then. I'm going to transition to Atkins 72 because its closest to what my doc has had me on other other than my meat choices are supposed to be lower fat. I'm already in deep ketosis. Gotta love the morning dragon breath! I've lost 15 lbs since I started 3 weeks ago! I'm not looking for anything too dramatic, but I would love to lose between 8-10lbs a month. That would put me in onederland before school starts back. I haven't been under 200 lbs in well over 20 years. Do you guys think its doable with a sluggish metabolism? I'm 224lbs today.

Hi Ladies,
I would love to join in here...looking to encourage and be encouraged! I will be turning 48 on June 23rd. I had a goal to be at 148lbs by then, but not sure if I can make that. Yesterday was my first day of being fully dedicated to this. My final goal weight is 135/140. I will get to 140 and see how that is, and adjust after that. |

In order to have legal foods in the house I went shopping today. I love diet coke so I this is going to be a struggle for me but I only had a glass and 1 refill along with a grilled chicken breast with bacon and a slice of provolone for lunch and a small salad. For dinner tonight I made bacon, avocado cheeseburger on an oopsie roll. Since I have to work the next three days I also browned 5 lbs of hamburger meat. Tomorrow I will make something with chicken breast and on Wednesday I will use some of the hamburger to make taco salads and on Thursday we will have spinach lasagna with some of the hamburger. The rest is in the freezer to pull out on one of the crazy nights that I may have. I am trying to get in my daily intake of water as well. My plan for work will be to take tea that I made tonight to replace the diet coke. I use decaf tea and about an 1/4 teas of splenda. I seriously have a diet coke addiction so tomorrow should be interesting for me. I am excited about this.
