Hi everybody
It is a working night for me here. Feeling the need to snack. Found these really great spicy salami bites that are a real treat. It may be a bit too salty for me as I found I woke up with quite a puffy face and dry mouth yesterday morning after eating them. Will have to eat them as special treats and not all the time.
cooked up some lamb with red curry paste and greek yoghurt last night. Yum.
Really great food for the start of winter.
Weight this week is 66.4kg.

Melisa. Best to dive right in and start A72. Pretty soon you will feel the lessening hunger which is for me the best result using A72. Like Aleina mentioned, the thread gives you the basics.

hey lola

today retained weight, guessing water retention since body still toned/slim and tummy big bloated

stressed of a difficult situation yesterday, been in fear and tears..

but trying to hope this situation gets better.....


plus now hoping 1-2lbs in a day just water gain

Hi Everybody
Working off adrenalin here as I have awake since 12:30am and going.
Got a deadline.
today I am resisting any thoughts of purchasing pre-packaged meals or snacks. Baby steps but i do acknowledge that I need ot keep things healthy.

Natosha- advice - rather not weigh when you are stressed. You know your adrenalin is pumping, you are retaining water. Any increases in the scale may just add to your stress levels, even subconsciously. and hope that your situation improves.

maybe i finally released the liquid after extra fluid feel lighter and much better

i want to tomorro temp veggies in my eggs breakfast and just meat +fat rest of day

Hi Melisa

initially I start out eating meat and veg as per the A72 plan whithout really counting carbs and calories. However, closer to goal as I in 2011 I knew that I had to cut back on portion sizes to lose to what I wanted. I got about 5kg from goal and hit an emotional snag that I could not work past.
Caught up on sleep last night and ate a simple meal. No snacks.

I was just on a day trip went Friday 5hour drive to the marriot in PA
and my did I feel ill
so everything I ate pretty much came back up

so I was hungry last night at midnight

had some steamed Chinese chicken a quart ordered had half with butter
got this organic butter was yummy and then at 6:30 am for breakfast had the rest and tblspoon butter

do u think its bad calorie wise I just really don't want to count but I know my appetite might pick up since I was hungry yesterday making for that in the 12am morning eat of something ?

be coming home today I hope said at 12 we leave the hotel for 5 hours home

just did I do bad
I sortof feel much better with eating simple plain steamed chicken and butter unsalted

with planet of this mandarine nestea water flavor drink

do you think I did ok or am Is this too much like to have in morning
a full quart be then if I think of it prob estimate two breasts chicken steamed and 2tblspoons butter

figure be healthy and least carb or garbage type food I can have in the marriot since they have no kitchen just a microwave to cook

unsure if anyone had this happen....

i'm eating 1650-1700

but retainging weight water from 2lbs and beginning to feel hungrier faster upped my fat too
(still need more fat at 60%) but

why at 2000 i was i guess fuller and energized and now gone up fat and calories feel bigger..

is this normal? or am i putting my body in starvation mode?

Have you looked up your calorie needs according to your height and weight ? I would think that both figures could be correct depending on your build or lifestyle.
Also something worth thinking about is diet drinks.They can make you feel as if you need more food. I have toick anything sweet out of my diet as it makes me want to eat more. Maybe you could try drinking just water for a day or two with the calories around 1600 and see if you feel full.

today added cup broccoli so near 1710 today n 10or less carbs

getting up hungry unable to sleep so took the need more approach

breakfast 4:30am
bacon 3 centercut not super well done and 1turkey strip
3eggs (instead of my two)
organic butter 1lrge slice
salt substitute

feels better
and the butter not as acidic as regular

hope this is what my body needed to boost metabolism n weightloss

figure add to each dish and be full satisfied not like unable to move but appetite not coming on after 1-2 hours.lol

I'm thinking Atkins 72 is a great plan. Just wondering if anyone takes Metformin and did they have to adjust it.
I experience low bs in the afternoons and this leads me to having a carb craze and i ruin the day

ok back with getting close to unlocking my low carb plan lol


so far 60% seems to be the best
for fat.....

so beef+ chicken to add that added fat n not salty since not bacon


been at 1800 lil under

like 1760-1780s calories
but wonder if the 60% fat is only what needed because had 2000 before n lost

hmm

I'm Back!

Hi everyone - I see some familiar faces but many more not-so-familiar faces!

Hard to believe it's been a year since I've posted on LCF.

I started back on Atkins 72 on Monday and am down 5#.....it feels so good, even with the slight Atkins flu that I'm experiencing.

I need to lose 40#....to get back to my best self.

Hey, Divine! I happened to see your name on the index page! Great to see you again. What's been going on in your world?

I finally managed to lose all my weight by doing the hcg diet. I've put a bit of it back on, so am back on the plan for a while. I finally had to come to terms with the fact that my body will only get to a certain point on Atkins, and from then on, it's only a maintenance plan for me. (It's a satisfying and delicious maintenance plan, at least!)
