NO it is not fidday that needs for you to use Face Book. It is the new LCF calculator. They started it several months ago. I just happened to see it one day. I do not go out in the Lobby too much anymore and it does explain why, I had not seen the change in their TOS.. Sending everyone an email could have saved some grief.
This just my personal O....

Heather deleting your account is really not too hard. One thing though is, you can not even open in into a browser. It will cancel your stopping it...

5 ozs should not be too much protein. I have ate 6 ozs with no problem. I think all meat has the different amount of protein by weight. My pork steaks gave me a smaller amount in protein that chicken. And I think beef weighs heavier.

I just got so pissed at H it make me want to drink a bowl of pure best chocolate. So I also guess it is true. Stress cause us to get fat.

Hi everyone...I got uber busy starting on Friday and have barely stopped to breathe.

And today, on the way home from work, my old truck died!!

I hope to catch up on reading and posting Wednesday....tomorrow is busy too.

The good news is 271.8 on the scale this evening and 138 post meal blood sugar yesterday....AMAZING

Not eating when I am angry, hurt, upset, worried or stressed is so very hard for me. However since I have started this way of eating I have not done it. But every time I still have that knee jerk reaction anyway. I really am not craving high carb foods any more but I still want to eat when I feel those emotions. While I was trying to figure out how it is that I am able to now resist those urges now I realized that reading and posting on Low Carb Friends has helped me in this department so much.
Here I am again going on and on about myself.
I am so proud and happy for you ML. Sleep well!
After all, tomorrow is an other day, and I am sure the scales will be kind to you in the morning.

So apparently, when I tried LC for a couple months back in 2011, I was on this forum....I thought it was a different forum. Not that I was here for long. My friends and both my doctors had me convinced that I was "hurting myself in the long run". Which is why I am not saying the words LC or Atkins to anyone who isn't on this forum Well, they have merged my accounts...which means I can figure out what I want for a signature!

I just replaced ignition coil, module and that big belt under the hood of my truck 2 months ago. And yesterday it just quit running. It is sitting at the auto shop, but the guy there hasn't called me. I hope he isn't out playing for hunting season...it is a one man shop. I love my truck...but it is almost 15 years old and lately has needed some expensive TLC lately....SIGH

I popped in briefly to say blood sugar hit 138 post meal...it hasn't been that low since before I was diagnosed

Bridget the best words to use for me are, I no longer eat refined carbohydrates, processed food, grain, high starchy foods and am sugar free. Today I eat whole foods, and I am as organic as I can be. You also can include, also most of my fats are plant based. If anyone wants to know more, you can try, to keep a daily food diary.
The low BS is a huge plus for this WOE.
All of my blood chemistry has improved greatly too!
I was using insulin to eat each meal and I was using 100 units of Lantus at night!

If I had not started eating this way I would NOT be sitting here writing to you!

Hurting yourself in the long run..................... I don't think death is the best choice.

In 2002 I started eating this way. I refused to let the nurse weigh me one day. Doc came in and said Marylouise I have to weigh you. I said Dr. Dan you can weigh me in a few months. Next time I went in, 3 months later, I proudly stepped on his scales and told him to come see what it said. Him and my H. went to school together and we had a good relationship. He was shocked at what he saw. We went into a room and he asked me what did I do different. I said Atkins!

Next time I went in, 3 months again, I had lost so much he was like DANG!
Well next time I went HIM AND HIS NURSES! had lost a LOT. He was obese. I caught him reaching and grabbing one of his nurses piece's of bacon and she said, leave my bacon alone. SEVERAL IN THE PRACTICE had lost weight! We all were smiling at each other. There was NO bread on her plate.

I have lost 9.8 pounds since starting this new WOE!!!!!!!

Oh and that Ladder Rung- the last rung I will never be able to step on. GRAINS is forever out of my WOE. When I looked at how many carbs is in that cow feed I almost

I am down .4 today also!
I am really surprised that I lost more.
That lower protein, higher fat is working for me.

I will not be eating grains or sugar every again too and I am good with that!

Bridget HI! Yes people can really be judgemental about low carb. The best way to do it is just be quiet and when they notice yoour results they will all start asking how you did it. That's when you explain because you could be helping someone who is struggling to lose weight and really change their life but most people are negative when you say you are changing your WOE to low carb. The results speak for themselves though.

ML, congrats on finding your new home. Do you have to move it to your own property or are you buying it on the prop it's on?

Since you've been adding some fruit and summer is ending, I've found the spenda sweetened pineapple and peaches at Big Lots to be yummy.
I love this stuff w cottage cheese.
The peaches are not quite sweet enough so I add a sprinkle of stevia but the pineapple is Yummm!!

Looks like your plan is working well.

Going for a walk is a good stress reliever when angry!!

Oh I really hate when that happens.....you work so hard to get the words just so....reread it, like what you see and then poof it is gone! Very frustrating.
