Bridget no shoe fits 2 people alike.
I was on Atkins 72/68 for 17 months.
I did NOT add and mix things up.
I ate what they call clean.
I think you will slow the scales way down eating some of things to satisfy your cravings.
You can take about 3 tab. HWC and add that dark bitter choc. to a mug of water. Nuke or boil it and add Stevia. Not Stevia in the Raw,, it has sugar it it. Liq. splenda does not have sugar but powdered does. Check the label. Do you see the sugar in it. Sugar hides in many forms.
Do you see the word? Google it.

When I first started I could use splenda and it did not stop weight loss. I can't now.

I have read so may good things about it.
I have also read many good things about pastured butter and that is the kind that I am eating.

I ran out of the great stuff and put a tab in my coffee about 3 weeks ago. It like to have made me sick as a dog! It was sooo salty! And I had been using it for at least a year.

My chocolate treat I think is ok..I will watch and see if it becomes a "gateway drug" It was just coconut oil, cocoa, liquid stevia, & splenda (pkts). I know the pkts have issues, and have been moving away from them and into liquid stevia. my final product is less then 1/8 inch thick...and I just had a small piece (maybe an inch x 1/3 inch) with my coffee...took away the craving wonderfully.

I'm not ready to give up my sweets yet, and I know that is a problem. So I made it myself...having control over what is in it. Fortunately, I am not a chocolate fiend....or even a sweets fiend. A little lasts a long time for me.

What is going to be hard for me is the starches. I bake for myself and have several different kinds of flours and whole grains at the house where I made my own bread, pastry, tortillas, dumplings, sauces, etc. I also love potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squashes. These are what is the hardest for me to give up and what I know I cannot possibly have "a bite" of.

I prefer my truth straight up...not spoon-fed

I use Kerrygold Pure Irish butter.
It is from Ireland.
They use milk from grass-fed cows, from small family farms.
The taste is wonderful and the health benefits are said to me many.
Yes, it does cost a bit more but I am willing to make compromises with
other expenses in order to afford it.
They have started selling it at Costco!

As far as the CO goes I just can't do
I tried the virgin organic more expensive kind.
I even made the bark with it and I could not eat it
I decided to just use in as a skin cream and that even made me feel sick.
By that time the smell was enough to set me off.
I have heard of coconut butter. I should give that a try.

This has been true for me to Bridget. I was really into cooking...bread....cake...pies....pasta....everyth ing from scratch.
I had to give up my love of cooking all those carby things. I had spent years perfecting my skills and experimenting with new things. I have tons of interesting cook books that I use spend hours pouring over.

Now it is eggs, bacon, meat and an occasional LC treat!
It is a big change but worth it.

Well the weekend is here!
I just wanted you guys to know that I share this computer with two other people my husband and my daughter(my son is the only lucky duck around here to have his own computer).
So it can be difficult for me to get on when everyone is home. And then of course we do enjoy time together. I live for the weekends!!

Can you start to add one serving, half cup, of green beans to one meal a day??
Just try to do it. And only heat the beans to a ate-able stage, or eat them cold. I eat most veggies slightly warmed or almost cold.

Bridget your Avatar saying. I call my CO coffee Liquid Gold. If you take it out in sunlight it shimmers. I think I could live of CO and black coffee.
