ML I wish I was watching olympics now but the kids are hogging the tv. They both have tvs in their rooms.... whoever made the comment on tough skirt steak sorry alot of comments I just read through, my bf makes a fahita marinade that you do overnight and grill with the skirt steak and it is one of the best things I have ever eaten. I just have it on the plate with no tortilla but its delish. I will have ask him for the recipe so I can post it. It very well might have some kind of sugar in it im not sure but if so we could do it with splenda or something. Its my down day today and worked from 2am until 7pm so didn't want to wait for cooking. So the bf and I stopped at taco bell to get everyone dinner and I got 2 chalupas and 1 taco. I got home and before eating started looking up the calories on my fitpal app on my phone. I get 500 calories on the down day and it would've been 900+ for all of that! Wow! So I was sitting there trying to figure out what to cut and refigured it all without the shells. 432. Whoo it was so much more food than just eating 1 chalupa or 1 taco.

Hi Linda, I am not doing induction but it is very similar. Meat, eggs and cheese and no sweet taste at all. It is supposed to decrease the insulin response from your pancreas. Takes time for your body to stop sending out so much. Sour cream is iffy, anything that causes insulin to be released is not good. But I thought it might be better than mayo since it's animal fat.

Sweet things can cause an insulin response, even smelling them can. I did this before but only lasted 2 1/2 months. No, I did not lose weight then but I'm trying again!

Shanan, please post the marinade when you have time, you are busy girl. It sounds good, you can probably omit sweetener (I would). You are doing great on JUDD, I am home all day so I am weak! I hate to be hungry.

I ate the insides only of 3 soft tacos at TB recently, it was more food than I needed. Could have eaten just 2, but you know how it is, it was there!

The mosquito truck just went by, they are bad from all of the rain. Even in the daytime if I go outside in the backyard on my day off they land on me. ML I can only eat spinach if its mixed with other stuff. I don't know why. I do like spinach salad with hot bacon on it, I forgot I took a pork loin out so I went ahead and baked it for tomorrow.

Diana its on the bf computer somewhere and he is at a friends working on his truck but I will as soon as possible. I know it had lime juice in it for sure it was very tender and tasty though. He uses alot of dry rubs usually on meat we grill but we saw this on a cooking show I think elton brown and he tried it and it was gooood. I did have sour cream on my stuff tonight, what is supposed to be the issue with it? Its not sweet?

Shanan you got guts.
Their chalupas are wonderfully delish and so bad for me....

You counted kcals. Did you happen to look at the sugar content? Just curious,,,,My sis eats that kind when she goes out. Which is offen.....

Yall I just remembered something. Nathleen told me the other day she has been using the Bragg and she is almost pain free. She said she has been drinkiing 3 glasses of laced Bragg 3 times a day. She puts splenda in it.

Several years ago she fell into a pot hole at work. She was getting out of her 18 wheeler.
She blew one of her knees out. And messed the other one up. One had to be operated on. She has been in constant pain since the day this happened. She also had to have a neck fusion a long time back. Her legs had started hurting so bad she had to stop afer a few steps. she checked out to have no blockages in her legs. She had herself tested after a test showed me to have a blockage in my neck...She tested on both clear.
She told me the other day, "Marylouise you have made a believer out of me~

After it reaches a point where you feel better you need to back off somewhat.

HAve I already told yall this about it helping my sister? I am starting to feel like I have already...It is hard to remember...We do move dont we

ML I didn't really look at the sugar since I took it out of the shells. All that was left was taco meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Might be a little in the taco seasoning but not too much I wouldn't think.

Braggs Vinegar
My husband swears by that stuff!!
He has an old knee injury that acts up every once in a while.
The braggs takes care of it in a few days.
He has found nothing else works for him.
I don't have any pains like that but I believe him!

ML way to go on the weight loss. You just had to find the right path to take. I am still stumbling but slowly finding the right path for me to begin Aug 20th. All your new foods are great and I know you will enjoy OWL so much more. I am so happy for you.

I tried the new Stevia I bought from ebay for the first time. The smallest scoop I have ever seen. It really perks up the flavor and yummy sweet, like a treat.

Well let's talk about forgetting names. Either ebeads or Marge suggested the Stevia so thanks to whoever told me about it. My memory is so bad and getting worse. I can walk from the bedroom to the kitchen and forget what I wanted. I use Post-It pads for everything.

Linda
Linda what is the name of the stevia you got. Just in case I see it at Whole foods

What did you put the stevia in??

Soon you too Linda will be eating that spinach with eggs

If I cook with the hot sauce it raises my bs. If I add it to my chicken after it is on my plate it does not raise my bs. Go Figure???? Mistery to me.....

Yeah when I went to pampered chef party and bought it, it was before I started Low carb and I got it for this delicious looking mac and cheese recipe you cook in it and I got the cookbook that is filled with casserole recipes I can't eat now lol. It does have a great looking meatloaf recipe and there is a burrito bake I might be able to tweak. It has tortillas and refried beans but I could leave those out. You can even make cakes in it. I also bought a brownie pan at the same time. Lol no wonder I was so fluffy. Still am but less fluffy at least now!
