SL, I know the feeling. DH wants to purchase another rental property but I am dead against it for now. It's hard when family is supposedly renting and paying the bills. I have a daughter that I would never rent to for that reason. Sounds cruel but kids now a days have such entitlement issues, it's amazing at most. We decided never to rent to family or friends. Had a bit of trouble when DH paid a friend's brother to help him with new construction on our house. His work was good but other things happened and DH couldn't say too much as the friend has been in his life since 2nd grade. Never again. Hope your plan is going well. The up days must be a real treat.

ebeads, chat away. Remember we are your family so post as much as you want. I am really excited about your upcoming show, and then the web site. You will be able to reach so many people. I feel the same ways about our family here, suffer when there are issues and rejoice in the successes. I get my coffee in the am and come here immediately and it helps me so much. The support is so great. I never really developed friendships while the kids were growing up. It was a mistake I regret. Never went shopping or out on the town with a girlfriend ever. I do admit I have a very close relationship with my sisters and they are the only ones I have ever had phone conversations with. Always the kids kids kids. They were always with us from day one. They were 5 and 7 at the time I became their mother, they are now 30 and 32. They came with baggage and until his day I am suffering for it. DH had full custody of them so they were with us on our first date!!! I love them dearly but they continue to suffer the ill effects of their biological mother abandoning them at an early age.

Soontobe, I gave up diet cokes and carbonated water awhile ago. Too much salt and made me feel bloated all the time. I love all these new plans I am hearing about. Tell us about yours. I used to drink gallons of Crystal Light, then found out it was 1 carb per 8oz so I gave that up for tea. I do miss it though.

Well I tried something. I cut my protein intake yesterday. Only 1 Tb of CO in the am. Lost a lb. Not sure if it will come back as I was sick for 2 days and didn't really eat anything but tried to drink a lot of water. I am sticking to strict 72 version until Aug 20th when I have a Dr appt. I will add carbs slowly at that time. I still have 17 lbs to get to goal weight and I am determined to get it off. Not slipping as much as before.

Heather, how is your plan going? How is daughter's arm? My hip hip/thigh is significantly better. I had to wear low heels to an event Sat. It was hilarious. I felt like I was going to topple over any minute. I am not used to heels anymore.

ML, have the relatives moved in yet? I hope swimming is in the near future for you. It will get you out of the trailer too. Any leads on that issue yet? How do I get to see the pool picture? How's the plan going? Take care

Linda

Wow that is gorgeous. Thanks for posting this. I admit I am not very adept with computers. In my day an electric typewriter was hi tech!!! I still have to get DH to put up a photo. My sister lives about 15 min away and has a pool so we go there mainly when we have the kids. I live in a hot valley. When we were first looking for a house we saw many with pools but dear FIL talked us out of it. I regret that decision so much.

Doesn't look like ML will have too much maintenance here. I bet the house is fabulous too. I hate moving but the end result here is amazing.

Enjoy ML!!

Well I have been at it for over a year, that's why and it came off really slowly compared to others. It has been a hard journey. Don't give up. Ten pounds is great. I have heard the slower you lose the better it is to maintain. The love and support you get here also helps a lot.

I got these numbers from FS. Going to try very hard to do this at least once a day. I sure hope yall are able to make heads or tails of this..Entering food gets faster as I go along.
I had no idea the fat intake would be this high. And thats just breakfast. I am only eating when I am hungry.

I thought I would get sick of these eggs but so far so good. Not eating so many because I like them. For now it seems better that canned salmon. But I will be eating some soon I am sure.
Entering this food diary seems to help me be accountable. It is a dark, rainy day. I have the bus dark and dh is asleep in his chair. I went to bed before dark yesterday and slept almost thru the night. Our 2 sons came nad I woke up to the sound of theri singing voices. Fell back to sleep and slept like a baby till today at 10 am. I feel good.

Lost weight too.

If yall remember me getting the new scales and them weighing me more than the old ones?
You will remember how badly it upset me. Well I have endurd the pain of seeing the new weight and then because I was so depressed I ate that sf ice cream.

Well I gained up to 178. Oh me that number hurts seeing it in black and white.
But it is what it is. Well it was what it was. I am now back down to 172.4 as of today.
I am sorry I didnt tell yall when it was happenig. I just couldn't put it in print....

These scales are correct and they will be the only ones I use from here on out.

I jumped in to enter all of that and now I am going back to read and catch up......

Oh me it is hard to push submittttttttttttttttttttttttt

I sure cant wait to get in that swimming pool. I am just gona wait for her to call me. She has been over whelled with such a huge move. The CG did pack for them when they left Cali. and they will unpack for them tomorrow. WE did tex today and I told susan to holler when she wanted me to come help clean or swim with her. I for sure dont want to become a unwelcome pool hog.....I'm sure it want be long, I hope.

That brick building on the right side is a fountain!!!! Flat water flows out of it!

I am so happy to be on the losing side of weight again! And I hope yall can forgive me for not owning up to it until now

It is learned habit from so many years of being too fat.
The old bad scales are more at fault than me.....

Would be so way cool to have a home like that.....

Trailer or buliding ourself a shot gun is the way we have to go. BUT I will have my little old round 127 foot swimming pool. On day........

Congrads. Linda on the loss!!!!!! Thats great!

What kind of zero bread? I just ate wheat the other day after having beer, remember the beer, anyway now my scalp has a rash. I am blaming the wheat. I must be too sensitive now. Like a baby.

Netrition, no c in it! I bought low carb bread before from Trader Joe's but it still raised my BS too much.

Now I'm just trying to be close to zero as possible.

Today I ate

3 cheesy eggs
4 strips bacon
1/2 lb cheeseburger w/sour cream
2 oz colby jack cheese
1/2 lb tri tip steak and I'm not done yet!!!

I've had breakfast, lunch, another lunch and will have another cheeseburger with DH about 7:30 eastern time!!!

I may eat 1/2 a cow today! But I will not have sweets!

There you go! Eat it till it is coming out your ears if you are wanting it. It is the only thing that kept me sane in the begining...

Now I dont have too bad a problem.

I have seen several talk about that tri tip steak. What is that?

Yea low carb bread will do that to me too. I am going to go and I will tell you what I find.

At first I could not stand the taste. One can get use to almost anything
Thanks for the right spelling.
I went and could not find any zero bread.....at Netrition

Tri tip is a newer cut of steak, along with flat iron, that they've discovered in the chuck part of the cow. If they cut it a certain way, they can make these steaks and charge more than regular chuck steaks. They are ok, but I love ribeye!

I just spent 15 minutes cleaning up stuff in my basement. I'm commiting 15 minutes a day this month to make it nicer down there. We've got alot of stuff to get out of here. We only have so much time left on earth, I don't want to look at a bunch of junk we don't need! You are lucky to live in a bus!

Okay, now if I can convince my better half to part with some of his things...
