Woke to fresh smelling coffee.
After 2 black cups the third and last one had a little HWC and one teaspoon of CO. One teas. Torani Hazelnut flavor.
2 hard boiled eggs.
Small amount of cheese.
Glass of diet rite.

Last night I ate some more of the egg salad. Made the same way as the night before last.

Egg Salad` la ca louie

Hard boiled eggs
Duke mayo, sf
Mustard
8 chopped green olives
half of a small kos. pickle {these things taste wonderful
Salt too taste. I love salt. Sea salt

I dont measure most of the stuff I use. Never have.

I am only eating when I get hungry. I have been trying to eat 3 times a day and I have decided this is not right. Linda Sue lost 50 or 60 pounds eating the way I am fixing, starting, to do. Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

There was a rabid food pusher at a old friend's birthday celebration this weekend. And I even had a large plate of food! (All meats, because the rest were starchy, carby bowls of glop I wouldn't eat or enjoy even with no set way of eating, but still, not like I was sitting there starving.)

She kept repeating incredulously to me, like it was finally going to suddenly, magically sink in to my thick head, "But (friend) cooked corn! But (friend) cooked corn!"

It was all I could do to not burst out singing,

"(Friend) cooked corn, and I don't care, (Friend) cooked corn, and I don't care, Friend cooked corn, and I don't caaaaaaare..... my blubber's going away!"

I didn't, but it would pop into my head each time she came up AGAIN saying that, so trying not to laugh was easier and more fun than trying not to slap the tray of corn she was carrying all over her. And my one low carb friend in real life was there to eye-roll and try not to laugh with me!

Linda, the best part of your post is you realizing where you would have caved in the past, but held strong and got through the evening. And the rude commenters didn't spontaneously combust (pleasant as that may be to visualize sometimes...), so yes, the outside world will also survive your standing up for yourself and your health.
