Don't you have to drive pretty far to shop ML? You should tell your DH he would save a ton of gas money I always lose best the more meat and fat I eat. It is just hard to remember to pack a lunch and to put the blue icepacks back in the freezer after! I can only really get hot dogs or beef jerky at the stores I go to sometimes they have hb eggs but they taste yucky. I am not really wanting hot dogs either! So I just keep not eating mostly while I work. Problem is I work 14+ hours a day so I am starving by the time I get home.

He worries about the info getting stolen off the internet if we used the debit card. Old school......

Yes we do always lose best when we eat meat and fat. That still sounds strange saying that. After hearing all my life eat more fruit and veggies..............

I have given up trying to explain it to my bf he just tells me its easy. Burn more calories than you eat and you'll lose. I have tried to tell him I have gone the exercise and eating 1200 low fat calories before. And yes you do lose some, but I personally can't lose more than 15 pounds or so on it and it takes forever. And I am not able to maintain that way of eating. He did not see for himself my other 2 weightlosses. He knew me in high school when I was skinny and he met me again a year after I had lost the weight the last time so I will just have to let my results speak for themself. I know this works. Lol its funny though he just sees me eating all of this fatty meat and thinks im crazy.

Last week we went to Whole Food. I had the Niacin on my wish list. Boy did I not get my wish!

I think that is enough smilies to decribe how bad I feel.

I am having that horrible feeling of going to sleep and being woke up after only a few minutes. Do yall know what I am trying to describe? I thought I was getting sick
I even thought I was on that A. flu. Linda told me we have been doing this NEW clean Induction for a week now. well I should be losing right?

I did get the new scales and they are working alright, I guess. Personally a few pounds either dirrection does not bother me. I think it is normal. It is confsing the you know what out of me. Trying to get that burn back to melt fat. I think I am doing everything the correct way. So confused.........

The Niacin..........................

It is from TwinLab. If anyone wants to read up on it just google the company plus Niacin (B-3) Caps. It is the Crstalline Pure one. WOW!!! I dont know if it has helped lower my blood lipids but I can garratee yall I ant takiing anymore of this poison.

I feel like something is inside me striping me of life. The worse of the feeling is in my upper torso. My head expectially. Spell check where are you????

I have been running a little fever too. I can not believe this can be good for anyone to take. A very good close friend took this for many years and he still died of a masive heart attack. It can also cause kidney and liver damage. Do yall think I need to add more health woes to the ones I already have. I dont. The nurse prac. I see told me to get this ..this....this....now marylouise this is a family forum..........................

I have gotten the natural PB. It will stall. This is sooo true. A couple of weeks ago he got me some SF plum perserves. He feels sorry for me because I am so food deprived. I said thank you sweetie. It is still in the fridge, unopened. And it will remain there untill I hit that golden number I want to at least get back to. That 157 was so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will get it back! I will get it back! I will get it back! I will get it back! I will get it back!!!!!!!!!!

No experience with the niacin here. I've been thinking of having DH try it if his chol. Is still above where they want it. He's not going on statins! I want a VAP test done too.

I'm lucky. PB doesn't stall me as long as I keep it o a serving.

It hit me wack....when I heard an expert say you don't need to be on Internet buying to be vulnerable....makes sense...but understand his old fashionism! DH is the same!

Marylouise! Yay you go girl! Yeah if that stuff is making you feel that bad ditch it! I take a one a day womens active metabolism and 2 slim quicks and 2 cla I think they are called. I was taking hgc drops but noticed not difference in appatite so I stopped. I forget to take them sometimes though. That is why I get a depo shot for bc. I would never remember to take bc everyday. The depo shot did make me. Gain alot though. I started taking it when my bf first visited here in march of 2010 and I started gaining right away right up to 40 lbs. Its funny but I know that had more to do with the weight gain than my eating did.

Kitty if yall do try the Niacin be sure and get a good one. I got it at Walmart first and it is worthless. I think all the Vs at Walmart are worthlees, now that I have tried this stuff. If he does decide to give it a try the TwinLabs are suppose to be the best. But please do not take it on a empty stomach. Eat a lot of that meat you have in the frezzer.

Sweetlady I would ask bf to go to drug store...That depo shot is not good. Weight gain is a minor side effect. Well so I have been told.....
What is your name? I did see you post it once and me cant member...... :-)

Maybe you could put it on your siggy
Its just a thought.....

Its Shanan and I am not aloud to have a siggy yet I have to be on LCF for a certain time first. Sweetlady 2k is what my bf calls me and sweets are my downfall so hence the name.. the depo is good for one thing I have no TOM now so its very convienent for work. I thought it seemed unnatural when I heard about it but other than the weight gain its been ok. No bloating or pMS.

Shanan~I'm sorry. I forgot that you are a newbie. I think you are only a few from being able to though.
The weight gain is a horrible side effect. I am being too nosy.......Thats me...

Sweets is my downfall too. I have freaked my sister out a time or two by telling her I want a tub of chocolate so I can lick myself clean.
I do love your user name.....Shanan

My mama was like your MIL. She loved all of us deeply but could not understand how bad it was giving my 2 sons all of that junk food. Both have to watch every bite because of this. I think once we get fat, even though we may lose to a normal weight, all it takes is one fattie meal and wow here comes the pounds. My youngest is more in touch with himself and has never been as heavey as my first. They are almost 4 years apart. 38 42

Lol your not nosy mL. Yeah I guess she just thinks it shows her love for them. She buys too many toys too. Well she used to before her hubby passed. Now she is more careful. Still pushes food though. I agree about the fat. People usually go back if they go back to wrong eating

I ate a good meal tonight. I fried chicken things in CO with bacon fat. :
I cut it up so it would cook faster too. I ate a thin slice of cheese with one small dill pickle. also 3 large pitted black olive. A tiny bit of onion. I put a small amout of that bbq sauce on my chicken. Walden for diabetics. spell check....So me is full as a tick :-)

I even shared it with DH and put Kraft sauce on his. Poor thing has been eating them meals we get from meals on wheels. They are made up for the eldery with diabeties. Carb count on most is like 60 to 45! I asked him today if he wanted to continue eating them or did he want to stop getting them. He said well they keep you alive. In other words they taste like crap. He is so spoiled to my cooking everything he eats that I dont cook to him taste like crap. He will not eat out either. He will stop and get crackers before he will sit down in a restarant. spell check :-(

I sent PM to Cheri ask asked her about the spell check on LCF. I thought I saw it when I first came here. Do yall have it on your page?

Well must go clean up dishes. UGH! I detest dishes. But am I special, no. I have never heard anyone say " I love to wash dishes".
Oh we found some trailers on Craigslist we are going to go look at. Getting closer to finding that just right one. The real esate woman called and they have someone looking for financing to get the house in Tennessee. Yall keep your fingers crossed for me. :-). For us. This bus keeps getting smaller everyday.......................................... ......................

Thanks Kit :-)

ebeads it is so good to see you. How have you been doing? Your kitties, how are they doing. How many do you have? I would really love to get to know them. I love cats. When we do get that trailer I am getting a few cats. They want be inside. But I really think I would love to have a few outside cats. I have never had an outside cat. Well Sugar was in and outside. Both Sugars went in and out. but Callie stayed in. she got out once and got pg. I almost lost her. I tookher in to see the doctor because she was over due to have her kittens.

She had a little of a wild streak to herself. Her mama was pure Siamese. Her daddy must have been alley cat. He gave her a shot and told me to take her home and she would start having her babies. She started having her babies as soon as I put the car into drive. Both sons was with me. They were very young. The youngest was still in diapers. Yall should have seend me carring my youngest and a cat having kittens. It was a sight, I bet. :-)

ebeads has the weather been nice where you live? Hartford Connecticut, wow. I have always loved that place. Never been there, but would love to see it. I for sure never thought I would be talking to someone that lives there.

The Niacin. Oh it was indeed horrible. I think it would be better to have high lipids than to endure that stuff. I didn't know it can cause kidneys damage and failure. Not to mention your liver. I found a forum of sorts where ppl told of their horriffic experines. Some had a more horrible time than I did. How anyone can take it more than a few times is beyond me.

I read that a good source of Niacin comes from fish. This must be why fish can help with lipids. Well one of the reasons maybe. I will try my best to eat more fish. I would be on a lake somewhere catching them if it wasnt for the bat like blood suckers. The mosiqtoes. when these monsters come near you it sounds like small airplaine. Huge blood suckers.

Hey ML ! I am doing fine. Just passed two months back on LC with no cheats. I had the chance to weigh on a doctors type scale yesterday and I was very pleased. I am not so focused on the pounds as I am just trying to feel better. But I do have a lot to lose so any weight loss, even gradual is so appreciated.

My kitties are my everything. I have an "old girl" who got me through the time back when I got divorced. I used to cry into her fur by accident sometimes and she would lick my face. Gotta love cats for unconditional love. Then when I relocated back to CT, I got my " baby " who of course it really middle aged cat-wise now ,but she will always be my baby because I got her as a kitten. I have a "thing" for calico cats, so my old girl is a "tortoise shell" which is a speckled tri-color ... and my baby is a standard calico with color patches. They are both characters and I am sure no one else would put up with them so God gave them to me for a reason. My baby is very neurotic and hisses at EVERYONE, even if very quiet and unthreatening. I am her one and only human and she will not warm to anyone. The old girl is very friendly and will go to anyone, but her bad habit is that she ambushes you. If you pet her she will purr and rub and be all happy, but then turn her head and go to bite you! Now, in all fairness, she doesn't really bite, never draws blood, but her nips can hurt unless you duck. I have heard that this behavior is common in "torties" but it is probably why she ended up in the ASPCA which is where I adopted her. I grew up in the country by a lake and my father kept both indoor and outdoor cats which totally kept us mouse free and as a child I loved every single one ( of the many ) and learned the ways of nature by watching baby kitties being born. I just love everything about all cats and if I had a house instead of a city apartment I would be a crazy cat lady with too many cats.

Hartford is a great place for me to live right now. I am alone except for my cats and I need to be close to stores and transportation and doctors / hospitals. My car is about to die ( 19 years old ) and when it does, I will not get another, so will depend on public transportation ... I am right on a bus line now, so life is good.

Sweetlady. Could you please explain slimquick? Does it curb your appetite?

ebeads, glad you and the kitties are doing well. Thanks for the info on the site announcement. Again congrats on the 2 months on plan. You are my inspiration. Hartford sounds like a great place to live. I can't wait to visit back east.

ML good luck on the house hunt. Sounds like you will be relocated soon. Fingers crossed.

I normally don't do this but after listening to a Dr Oz show I bought the Raspberry pills he recommended. Just got them yesterday. You take 2 a day as a supplement. I will try anything at this point! I bought 3 bottles and got 2 free so after 5 months we will see. It's supposed to melt belly fat. That's my worst area. No matter how much I lose I still have that big spare tire. DH says I need to exercise more.

I also got the Stevia yesterday. It has no sugar etc etc so will try it soon.

I am going for an eye exam today. I a considering contacts. Anyone have experience with them?? The doctor told me that I could get far sighted lenses and buy an over the counter pair of reading glasses. Right now I wear trifocals.

I sure wish we all weren't so spread out. Wouldn't it be great if we met once in awhile??

Linda

Linda. Slimquick is just a weightloss formula I had on hand like your raspberry pills supposed to help belly fat. I also take CLA for belly fat. I think one of these is working I really need to measure bad but I have missplaced my tape measure. My belly area seems much flatter even though I have not lost much weight. That is definately my problem area, at least the worst one lol. But my regular shorts I wear to work are size 16 I had just bought at target a month ago because my 14's were getting too tight. I am definately noticing they are looser. They were almost snug when I got them. The only reason I tried the slimquick is because I bought it months ago and figured I would try it could only help. I saw alot of posts on here about the CLA helping and got that Sunday before last and it is probably the one that is working. I have noticed the differance only since I started the cla.

Oh super news on the stall break Kitty! Yes I have heard that cLA helps but its hard to remember to take them I can remember the am pill but the second one I keep forgetting! Maybe I should set an alarm on my phone if I am already noticing a differance after a week and a half then who knows what good things could happen if I took the other pill in the afternoon lol

Did I tell you my sweet Callie was calico? She too would bite like that. After she had her kittens everything went good for about 3 days. Then she got an infection and had to have a hystermorectory...that word I for sure can not spell.

I had to bottle feed her babies.
Callie would attack my DH if he did not stop and feed her. It was so funny. And no one except my youngest sone and me could handle Callie. Everyone else was scared of her. The day she died she had a hold of my hand with her teeth. Oh I miss that cat. It is not easy to forget that like of love that lasted for 23 years.

Safer to use a bus if your car is not dependable. If we lived close my DH would get it running iin good order in no time at all.

And thanks for the heads up on LCF doing maintence.

Marylouise its conjugated lenoleic acid. Not sure I spelled it correctly. Basically from what I've read it seems to occur naturally in fatty foods and other foods like beef, it aids in building muscle and reducing body fat but you could never get the amount that is in the soft gels just by eating. They said most foods that contain it might have like 7g. And the soft gels have alot more like over 500 I think. You'd have to eat a ton of food to get the benefits. It really does seem to be helping. I got mine at walgreens I think but im not sure of the brand ill post it when I get home. Kitty might have more info on it?
