My Keto strip is dark purple, almost in large. Which got me thinking if my ketones are so high, maybe I'm not drinking enough water to flush them out. I do drink a lot all day, but not water. So I just drank 40oz of water and now I'm full and trying to figure out how I'm gonna fit that snack in. I decided I'm gonna split a steak with my DH about 4pm before I get ready for church.

That's my plan so far
.................................................. .................................................. ......................
Add some hot sauce in there somewhere. I was just talking to Nathleen, sister, and she jarred a memory. I was eating hot sauce everyday!

ADD hot sauce. Anyway you like hot stuff, so you can consume it!

Dr. Oz had a preview of a show and he is going to talk about setting your fat on FIRE! It came on while I was talking to her. And I remembered eating hot sauce everyday! I craved the stuff after I started eating it.
Food for thought

My weight loss has all but stopped. I have lost some since after Christmas, but not a lot. I should have reached my goal. I did have goal at 160. I was so far from 160 I thought I would never see that number. I am eating on plan. BUT something has changed

Could it be as simple as putting hot sauce on my plate.....

I ate away from home yesterday too. We went to IHOP because we had a showing on our house. I had cheddar cheese and bacon omlette. Who knows what was in that bacon. I only ate half of it.

Coconut oil that doesn't taste like coconuts: I get spectrum expeller pressed refined...no coconut flavor....trust me...I don't like coconut! LOL

Yes, you can eat too much fat. If it is providing all or more than ou need to live, it can be too much. Best bet, try dropping the amt. and see.

Not eating enough....I do that. I get to where I'm not hungry, so don't eat. Record everything for a few days. Too little can stall you.

Whoosh fairy's evil twin.....the gain fairy! Don't let her in!

Yep, they sneak sugar in everything.....wheat too!

After all that work I decided to just eat the regular bacon with a little sugar

I have been eating a lot more chicken recently because beef get expensive.
I really think that this has had a negative affect on my weight loss...so today I stocked up on some beef!!
Hope it finally gets this train moving again!
Annabel I do think you are right! plus the hot sauce...

EDIT: Good tip on bacon!

The bacon is from Bj, its called applegate, its sooo good, even though in the ingridient it said "evaporated sugar cane" it has not affected my ketosis, and I am losing fast,I just dont know what evaporated cane sugar is.or how they evaporate it. For the warm compress I use a sock filled with rice tied it an place it in the Microwave for 1 min. it keeps the heat well. and it is easy to manuver. Let me know if this helps.
Can you eat without it blowing up? Mine is getting so large it is creating pain and sometimes I think it slows my breathing down at times. I mean it is harder to breath.

I look it up and it a cause the big C to start.....

I will try the heat. I have been using cold to try to get it to go down as soon as I can. This s so bad I can not eat in front of anyone, cept DH..

I think its the almonds. Probably the salt on them. I usually have them for a snack every day. I ran out and this is the first time I have had them in a couple weeks. Hope the scale is down tomorrow. I did good on my eating today and went for a 3 mile walk.

When I walked yesterday my hands were really swollen on my walk today they were fine today. So maybe just the salt making the scale go up.

But I ate on plan, didn't eat anything not on plan ... even at IHOP where they add batter to the omelettes, I ordered 2 egg whites, scrambled and asked they not add batter (which they don't to egg whites) ... hmm, probably travel, not drinking as much water as I should ... I have also found sf chewing gum and crystal light ... one of the two are making me ravenous after chewing or drinking, not sure which one, any thoughts?

Hi Marylouise, my S Gland is not as bad as yours, there is a new type of operation, but I think only the U of Miami is the only one doing it, I found the aspercream to help a lot, but like you said, you are probably a good candidate for the surgery, let me know how you do with the warm comp. and cream.

Hi all. Glad so many of you are doing well. Does anyone use Ketostix?

Any response to Kathy's food list?

ML maybe you need to post the original list. I am curious to see how many are following the list

Another question. Pork rinds. Any thoughts ?

I have added only an occasional salad toy plan. Anybody adding more carbs ? More fat, less fat?

Linda
