I'm laughing at the fat blocker, though – did you ask her to write you a prescription for a chocolate blocker? How about a wheat blocker?
Marge you never fail to but a smile on my face!

I want all the blockers I can get!

And it's great to see you here! How are you doing on your plan???

Hopefully, the two-evening binge is over! Gained four pounds overnight last week and another the next day, despite no cheats. Even though all nutritional logic and facts, along with probably every female in here, all point to it being water weight, especially pre-TOM, I still let it depress/frustrate me into a couple of carbfests – three Zone Perfect bars Monday night and two Tuesday night. (heading in the right direction, at least?? ).

So far the only carbs today were about four net in a small bowl of chicken salad tonight (instead of starting on those wonderful Zone Perfect bars again...) that was just grilled chicken breast, bit of green onion, Granny Smith apple, Best Foods mayo, fresh ground pepper.

Tomorrow I'll have more of the chicken salad because I need to eat it up, and a few ounces of blackberries which will be about 5.6 net carbs, need to start eating those up, too. So four today and about 9.6 tomorrow, all fruit-related, but the lower glycemic load ones.

My mom was madly craving Alfy's pizza, and despite my loving and craving their excellent pizza, she ordered a personal one and I stuck with the salad bar. For which they seemed to have scoured the globe for the cheapest possible of each ingredient, several months prior to our visit today. Even the olives were terrible! How do you ruin olives??? No worries about salad ingredients eating into the pizza quality budget at that place, that's for sure!

Have you ever tried Flexiril? It's a muscle relaxant that's not nearly as toxic or drugging as Percocet; it's not an opiate. Much cheaper, too, like maybe $5 or so for 90 of them. When I have insurance, it's often cheaper at Costco than the co-pay.

Obviously it'd be up to you and your doctor, not saying I recommend it for you by any stretch! It can make you drowsy, too, the first few times you take it, if you are sensitive to medications. And if it's something internal like Marylouise asked, obviously it wouldn't even be in the discussion.

How about a pad thai blocker, and a lemon meringue pie blocker (must eat one whole pie to get full effect of this powerful medication) and a maple bar blocker?

HI all
back on Low carb hHCG
tired of bouncing from diet to diet I need to stick to just one and give it a chance to work. I guess its my Adhd I just cant stick to anyone thing for very long. not just diets but alot of things in my life are erractic(sp) and short term. maybe if I see the results I will be able to stick to it long enough to REALLY see results. After my DD graduated college I gained back to 210.8
todays weight in 207.8.
Love ya'll
Soonie

Hello! I was snooping around and found this thread. OMG The video by that doctor is amazing. Where was she 30 years ago??? HEHEHEH I ordered her book from amazon, too. I want to look more deeply into what she said about people who have something "broken" so they do not lose much even when on strict low carb ( thats me ) The word was creatin or something like that. Anyone know what it is so I can research more on the net?

Anyhow. Hope your Sunday goes well and that you are happily on plan!

maggamin~ to LCF!! LCF is the number one place to be for learning how to live a healthier way by finding a healthier WOE!!!!
NANY does work for some but, it didn't work for me either. Too many carbs. My body is so resistant and carb sensitive, I must have more restrictions!

Have you found the list of foods that was put out there in 1968 or somewhere close to that date? It is the WOE I have been following since March 2011.
And sweetie you are so welcome to this thread!
