Thought sipping on that was better than dipping fruit, graham crackers, or marshmellows into the overflowing fountain of fat! For once, nobody said anything directly to me and I was at peace!!! Well, they did start to gush about how wonderful the chocolate was (as they stared my way) but I just tuned them out and looked around the room! I don't know if you all agree but some people are so jealous when you have control. I think that is why I have gained weight in the past--simply to please other people and sercombe to their overindulging ways! What?? to be accepted and to be liked and treated better???? I am done with that!!! It just never ceases to amaze me how some gals act. Well, glad today is overwith-another social event---DONE!

ML-I know you said that you won't make whipped cream again but I was wondering how you do it!!! Do you put a sweetner in it with the HWC--what is the ratio of ingredients??? I know you will tell me not to make it because it may stall me out but would like to know incase I ever make it into the 140's and want my "Cool Whip" again!

Kitty!
Got a box of that spring mix for work this week!

Hi Linda!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!! Lots of sunshine up here!!! But back to the daily grind tomorrow!!

Kathy I did not know this is our Kathy as me said and me didn't know it was you when you posted this either I have seen another Kathy on LCF and I thought she had followed Kitty here.
I bet you must think I am nuts. I reread the things I said and it sounds to my ears like I am talking to someone I dont know very well. And I know you like a sister! BUT you had me fooled.

Look back at what you said about control. YOU have control! Those are powerful words Kathy! I am so happy for you! And so proud!

I want to be like you! You Kathy are inspiring ME!

Thanks Kitty for all the help.

Bummer your car ran out of gas. I hope it's up and running soon and ready for the show.

Have never tried SF jello and didn't know it was on the plan. I hate orange anything so would never try it but peach sounds yummy. Love spring mix and spinach leaves. Dressing??? Cooked spinach OK?

Kathy, I am right there with you on social events. Fortunately the last few have been buffet style so easy to stay on plan. We are taking a major trip in a week. It is part land and part sea cruise. I actually called the travel agent who promised me everyone would work with me on the plan. We will see. I have tried both the package and boxed greens. No difference to me.

BAB=Big A$$ Breakfast I think. Kitty can correct me if not.

Now what is GB and HWC?

Kitty I just noticed your stats. You are at a perrrrrfect weight ( no pun intended!!! ) I am 5'6" and want to be 130 so I think that's about right???

Today we have a get together and thank goodness we were there yesterday and I know what the menu is. Of course nothing I can eat so will stuff myself before I go. It is an all day all night affair. These are a group of now men who have known each other since JR High School and formed a group called Mid Valley Vans. The house where we are going belongs to a guy who is a big game hunter. He must have over 150 animals including whole animals. It was unbelievable. The house is kind of dark, I guess ,to maintain the animals. He added on a 1600 sq foot game room to display the animals. We took the grandkids and they were mesmerized. I do have to bring some food but won't eat any of it.

Hope everyone is doing well and again thank you Kitty for all your help and support.

Linda
Was the critters spookie???

GB is ground beef......Me sorry I was going back and saw you asked and dont think it was answered.

Kathy~ I was on my way to bed and I remembered something.

Have you tried cake in a mug?

Choco Micro Cake!

This is good and a very special treat for me.

1~ egg, beaten well

1~tab. HWC

2 teas. cocoa

1 teas. melted butter

10 teas. sweetener or 3 packets of saccharine. The last 2 times I have ate it I used the saccharine. The 10 teas. powdered sweet is what I was putting in it. Too many carbs so I started using the other. I have stevia now and when I make it again I will try the stevia.

One is very satisfy. Metqa is the one that I first heard it from, I think. I think she also said she had poured SF chocolate syrup on hers and it was like a Volcano cake........

The only reason I told you about the CO candy is because I didn't want the same thing to happen to you that happened to me. The weight it put on I still have. And I am scared to pieces! We are all different and you may not have the same problem I did. I like to feel fudge in my mouth. Strange, Thats strange indeed. I do love the feel of things I shouldn't put in my mouth......
Not so much the taste. It's the feel......................................strange

Well anyway nite everybody.....Sweet thin dreams....

Good morning Sexy~

How are you doing?
I do like that cake in a mug. Good treat. But the candy for me is too good! I have no control with it and it is why I gained weight.

I am starting to lose again. The scales were friendlier this morning!

I am having a moment. a all of a sudden knowing moment.

I looked down at my left foot. I had been sitting on it. I said something about why the red lines are on my foot. He said, are you sure its not swelled. No it isn't swelled. As a matter of fact, and I thinght this to myself, it has no fluid and my feet and legs look and feel thinner than yesterday. I was a little lighter on the scales this morning and yea eaven my hands and fingers are healtheir looking.

Yall I am turning a conner. I feel it. I feel lighter and I look a few pounds leaner.

If I had know how to post pix in here I would post one one. I probaly wouldn't be able to do it now. Yall see that smiling face and I dont see that woman looking back at me. The camera was kind to me the day I took that picture. It was one from the middle of Feburary. I was at the lowest weight to date. BUT I didn't stay there very long. The chocolate candy got a hold on me and I turned back into a hungry machine. I promoise you I was stuffing my face from late afternoon til bedtime.

I took several pictures of myself yesterday. I saved one so I would have something to look back on. I look sick and I look so sad I almost start crying when I think of the image I saw looking back at me.

I use to have a twinkle in my eye. It's gone. Yep I am 61. I say it enough so I just must be that age.

Youth....

NOW ....hold on a sec.....

I am back. Yep I am back. I am hungry and I am back. I am hungry for thinness as well as belly wise. If a body lives off of its self why does it think it just has to have food in the belly?? Even protein food.

I have been regular for 2 days straight. This NEVER happens to me. Been hardheaded all of my life. TMI
I'm thinking it is the Bragg

I want thinness more than I want food..........................................

B/S 96.....

I am fastin. Yesterday I ate 4 scrambled eggs with cheese for supper. A late supper. I ate a A. bar yesterday morning. Coffee, black with TAB. CO.
Instant tea now with 3 teas. splenda. Had V~ water yesterday, day before yesterday too. Fixin to drink another one now. 6 or so ounces ice water with one tablespoon of Bragg......

Mary Louise, Good morning!

I would never guess that you are 61 from your pictures. You look more like a 40 something to me!!!!
At times your energy and enthusiasm reminds me more of a 20 something!!!

Sometimes you may feel like the sparkle is not in your eyes but I know it is always in your heart.

I am so glad that you are getting back to it!!
I am feeling like it am just treading water, but I am ok with that
for right now.

When you wrote Coffee with TAB. CO I thought you meant Coffee with Tabasco!!!!!!

Today my sister is going to see her. We take turns spending the day with her.
If I don't get any phone calls from her nurse, I know she has slept well.
I will hear how things are going with her this afternoon.
Yesterday she kept forgetting who I was, she has never done that before.
The doctor is also coming to see her today. It is so nice that she doesn't have to go to the doctors office anymore!
My other sister who lives in Washington is planing a trip dow here in July.
I am really worried about that.
I don't know what kind of condition my Mom will be in by that time.
There are good days and bad days....yesterday was not good for her.
Hopefully my sister will have better news to report.

Thanks you for your concern!

"Kitty I just noticed your stats. You are at a perrrrrfect weight ( no pun intended!!! ) I am 5'6" and want to be 130 so I think that's about right???"

Linda: thanks! I'm not far off. Have seen self smaller, so I know that is what I really want. (last year at this time in upper 140s) I am small boned. I also know I can go by DH's opinion. He says he's ok with me losing more or staying the same. When I was at my lowest last year, he said not to lose more. He thought that was a good weight. He doesn't like too skinny...of course I reminded him I was 20 pounds thinner when we met! guess time changed that.

MaryLouise!!

It's ok if you did not recognize me!! Yes! That is my doggie looking very studious, don't you think??? ha ha The kids just laugh and laugh at that picture because I tell them she puts on her reading glasses to read every night! I would tell all of you that she puts on her reading glasses to check out the posts on low carb friends but I don't think you would believe me--the little ones are more gulible!!

I am not really at my goal yet but bouncing around from 153-155, which is ok with me for now! I want the 140's but will try that when I have less stress and less "mental work". My menu is good for me now! Three solid meals and that is what I need to make it through the day.

I am trying different LC treats but I have been very good at limiting myself to just one. I made peanut butter cups tonight with 2/3 cup coconut oil, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and 3 packets of splenda. Used a mixer and then spooned it out into small cupcake papers. I put them in fridge to cool. This was originally posted by Jandjsmom. I will put them in a container because...out of sight, out of mind! I will also put a post it note on the container that says ONE A DAY TO KEEP THE FAT AWAY!! I do silly stuff like that--keeps me entertained!

No on the baby bird! I want one but will wait till vacation when I can spend time with it. Also, I will see if I still want one by then. Do you think my dog will eat it? Oh-that is horrible but I think about these things!

No on the cake in the cup but will try it this weekend because I have all of the ingredients--sounds good! I didn't know any of these recipes--just recently have I tried them. June 1--strictly Atkins 72' to get into the 140's!

It is all about control and how bad you want to feel good and look good!

DISCIPLINE IS REMEMBERING WHAT YOU WANT

Another favorite quote!!

Summer is around the corner and the sun will fill us with energy, vit D., and revitalize our outlook!

I have some work tonight so I am signing off a bit early.......

Annabel Lee, I am so sorry about your mom! Hang in there you and your sister and be there for each other. Your mom is as blessed to have you as you have been to have her!

Kathy, I didn't "recognize" you, either, until I got to Marylouise's comments! Way to hide in plain sight! I remember your other photo because you are so gorgeous! Seriously.

As to your baby bird, my dear friend has three very rambunctious dogs and three birds. Dogs have never tried to get at the birds, yes, they're in their cages unless the doggies are put downstairs, but even when they're running around upstairs they don't bother or crash into the cages, and the birds don't seem a bit intimidated when the dogs are running around.

She even let me name her second bird Flip... (yes, I'm 12 years old; why do you ask? )

Marylouise, you probably already know not to try to grocery shop when hungry or having cravings, right? I'm going tomorrow when I take my mom, and definitely plan to find the Bragg's vinegar (with the mother, whatever that means...); I'll figure out how to get it in me and how much after I get it home.

With the decent weather coming, I may try a VVLC or fat fast, or whatever you call the meat, eggs, cheese only plan. Having the Q available makes all the difference in success of me starting a high-meat fixation.
(personally, I'd Q if it were 10 degrees out and snowing, and have more than once – but my balcony isn't covered here, so anything liquid coming out of the sky kinda ruins the Q situation)

Wow, thank you so much! And that was so fast, too! Can you get this at most grocery stores, or do I need to hit a specialty store or health food stuff?

Hit and miss. Some have it in a specialty foods section(organics, gluten free, etc.) health food stores would have it. I get mine at Giant Eagle. I don't think you have them though.

SCALES ARE BECOMING MY FRIEND AGAIN

I didn't mess up. I got chicken thighs, pork steaks, pork neck bones. I forgot about the spring salad :-(
I got 4 boxes of SF orange jello and I got a small tub of HWC. I looked at them. The Land of Lakes had a carb in one serving. I have trouble holding the measure cup. It always spills over in the cup. I will only use one serving 2 times a day of HWC. I think I need to wait for a couple more days then if melting, add back and keep a very close eye on the scales.

So back on, full throttle.....................
Oh I also forgot cheese :-(
Forgot bacon too :-(
Got pork jowl :-)

Eating eggs and meat with tight control. Will be getting cheese and spring salad.........
My dressing will be EVOO and Bragg.

See yall in the sunshine.
Think Thin Thoughts
Dream Thin Dreams

got a bottle of orange nail polish and a new flag for this weekend.......a little flag....I stuck it in one of my flower pots outside. The Xmas Cactus....

Frances Did your mama have a good day?

Get mine at Kroger and Walmart. Kitty do you get that big jug? I have 3 and 2 are not opened. It has a long shelf life.

What does gluten do? Why is it a problem?

Marylouise, gluten is wheat, the worst part of wheat as far as I understand. Toxic to our systems from what all I'm reading and learning, and also what helps pack the blob around our bellies.

VVLC virtually eliminates it from your diet as you're mostly eating meat and fresh veggies, but watch for it in anything packaged, even stuff that has nothing to do with wheat, unfortunately, that it would never even cross your mind to check for it.

Canned meat, canned fish, processed meats such as bacon, sausage or deli meat, possibly even in some forms of Jell-o or sugar free desserts.

Eliminating wheat, flour and gluten is every bit as important, possibly even more so, as eliminating sugar as to breaking your stalls or speeding up the loss of belly fat.

Ohhhhhh Marge you are killing me.....

Yea I fried the last of my pork jowl and 3 eggs. It was good too. I love pork jowl.......

The Mother is the....R U sure U want 2 KNOW>>>>>
