Sexy, well at least you are down a pound. You are going in the right direction. Congrats on the graduation.

Hope the all protein should help. Scale not moving is good.

Annabel, way to go on your thinking. Stay on plan. Lost pounds are so much better then eating cake, regretting it and have to lose that much more. I started looking up restaurants menus on line before I go and it makes it so much easier to stay on plan.

ML where are you this am? Did you get started? I couldn't get down all I should have at BAB as Kitty would say. Still haven't planned the other meals. Too scared to add carbs....

Linda
It takes getting used to...every day gets easier. Think how it was getting used to LC. I still can't do a BAB without beef. Too much to eat! Many do though!

Forgot to add the bacon I had cooked to my burger patties that adds protein, and....dang! It's bacon! Need I say more? will remember tomorrow.

Did ok, but........out of habit...spoon of peanut butter with coffee....not at meal or it would have been ok.....will stop and do better!

Paleo book, no. Have been reading up on Internet though. Not sure if I could do it completely, but they have good points. Going to pull what I can from it to use.

What kind of BP??

Yea it is good to add the bacon, but me my not include it with the breaking meal. Save it to savor should I need the extra fat for the day's consumption. And I am sure I will need it with third and last meal.....Do you think that is okay to do like that, Kitty?

Yea I looked stuff up. You would have to really have a big appetite to get in that breaking meal, without dense protein.
I thought about canned salmon and eggs. Last year I did eat it like that a few times. You add the raw eggs to the pan with the salmon and scramble the 2 together. Its good, but I think saving it for latter meals will be the best thing to do, for me................cricket is having a seizure........

Cricket

That will do, save the bacon. I just do it to jazz it up a bit. Like the cheese.

Yep, I kind of switched my meals around. Breakfast used to be littlest, then lunch medium, then dinner...biggest...had it backwards.

BP?

Do you have a Kroger? The one here has a low sodium bacon and it is SF. Someone on here told me about it. Kind of like a washed well piece of bacon. Don't get it hard.

Do you have a store that sells pork jowl? I have to slice the one I get. Fat and a very small amount of meat. It too is smoked. The taste is wonderful!

I just thought of something. I can cut up the pork jowl and let it cool. Then add it to the ground beef and fry it or broil it in oven. If I let it cool off in pan dripping it will retain as much fat as possible.......................I wonder if I can add cheese cubes and have cheese/bacon/burgers?

WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE LEPTIN RX?

The cold thermogenesis protocol should be added gradually to the Leptin Rx rest protocol. This blog post is additive to the Leptin Rx, and is an evolution extension of it for those who need it. I hope you all realize that not everyone will need it. Some will need it because they have special needs that they face. This blog is designed for those who have been previously left out of the reset protocol. Those people are gastric bypass patients, HCG users, those on exogenous steroids, chronic pain patients, and those with T2D and metabolic syndrome, as a few examples.

Prolonged and controlled local peripheral skin cooling can induce selective “damage,” and increased hypothalamic signaling by forcing adipocyte apoptosis and subsequent loss of subcutaneous fat without damaging the overlying skin or the underlying muscle layers. This means that acute cold cause rapid leptin sensitivity! It means that fat is forced to liberate leptin from fat cells to slowly lower its serum levels as long as the cold stimulus is applied safely. This is new scientific information that was first carried out in pigs in 2008, and subsequently tested in humans and found to be quite effective for fat removal in certain selected areas of the body.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope none of this has links in it. If it does I will work fast to remove them.....
several strains of laboratory mice have been found to be homozygous for single-gene mutations that cause them to become grossly obese, and they fall into two classes: "ob/ob", those having mutations in the gene for the protein hormone leptin, and "db/db", those having mutations in the gene that encodes the receptor for leptin. When ob/ob mice are treated with injections of leptin, they lose their excess fat and return to normal body weight.
Here is a beginning to understanding what Leptin is and what it does....
"June 29th, 2011 at 8:00 pm
@Tim…..Regardless of fitness or LR or LS……I never advocate skipping breakfast ever. If you IF skip lunch and dinner. I have a scale somewhere packed up :-( Guess to correct protein amount until I can get scale. Can anyone tell me how much ? I detest math to the point that get beyond a number and my brain turns to jello.
Need 50 grams protein, so how many raw or cooked ounces do I need?
Hamburger patty, 4 oz – 28 grams protein
I divide the beginning amt. (on label) of burger by how many patties I make. Think quarter pound sized burgers.
