Well I do mix some things up. Like the CO candy

I would over eat that. I know I would. It looks too good. I have another way to make that dish. I use all of your ingred. except the mayo., and the Par. cheese and the other cheese.

I have taken the frozen spinach souffle and mixed it with cream cheese and put layers of the hearts and spinach together and cook it off in the oven. But I can eat it all in one sitting!

I bet yours tasted very good!

How many serving does it make?
the square pyrex dish size. are they 9x9? about 1 inch thick not sure. I can only usually eat about 1/2 cup because it is rich. But with chips i could eat it forever. I usually just want a taste of things anyways.

Hi , I am back after losing 70 + lbs in one year 2004-2005, the fat is back and I know you guys have the receipe for thin.. this is how I did it Induction. Full time induction was not popular at the time. But for me, beef makes me lose, salt is my enemy and too much fat stalls me.

Please make room for me on your yellow brick road to thin!!

Yes there is plenty of room for you on the yellow brick road! I lost the first time around the same time as you did! Started 2003 for me and gained it all back and of course plus!

I don't think extended induction was pop. with anyone except Dr. Atkins!

Yep bring on the cow

You love doggies! What kind do you have?

I have 2. One is around 11 pounds, Pomfox. Her name is Cricket. She is 10 years old. The other is around 8 pounds and we dont know her breeds. Gidget is 4 years old, black and long haired.

Both are a handfull. Both are pad trained. I will not ever do this to another dog. Dogs are suppose to run and catch things. We are in our 1948 Grey Hound RV Bus, temp. Selling a home and waiting to build another.

It is great to met you. You live in the Virgin Islands! WOW

2 Jack Russell terriers rule my life!!!

Hey I have been reading this thread and I am soooooo home!!!

Your mom was not in her right mind, I went thru that fire last year and then the angels came and God is so good, mom is happy in His arms and I am putting my life back together. It has taken much longer than I ever thought

Focus is so important, you have done an amazing job getting the weight off, I was able to keep mine off until 2008 when mom started down hill, together with the economy~ stress a terrible reason to eat carbs, my fav noodles, my addiction, but really my weight just creeped back on. my body wants to be
170 what I weighed in 8th grade. on my 5 2 body.

But hey if I lived in Africa where people are dying of starvation, I would be the fat one. Ever see pics of some of those hungry people, thin, thin, thin, thin, chubby,

Ah, any how glad to be home again, wowsuch a comfy chair!!

I plan to live here, hugs to all

I'm sorry you have lost your mom too. Linda Boca lost her mom 2 years ago. Losing mamas is as bad as it gets, I hope.

The weight does seem to want to come back home. It's so mean for our bodies to not mind us and stay lean!

I am so happy you found us. Not everyone is on Atkins but everyone is working hard to rid themselves of that extra fluff we don't want! We are in a Challenge and you are so welcome to come on in and make this your home!
Jack Russell's are soooo smart!

Two friends are losing fast and we may have another Winner soon!

I been sitting here thinking about the hot sauce...I am going to get some different kinds. I never really gave it much thought. I cant handle too hot. But I love the flavor.
My neices son is 10 years old. You can not get hot too hot for him!

OH me he is skin and bones and he has to have hot sauce all the TIME! HE will drink it out of the pouches at Taco Bell!

I like Crystal Louisiana Hot sauce, Matouks which has sugar, but West Indian
home made is my very fav and I love it on everything

My Jacks just got into their crates for the night, I am heading to bed, happy to be home again.

I had 2 fried eggs and cottage cheese for B
tuna and mayo for lunch
pork tenderloin I found in the freezer for D
and 2 glasses of wine.

Well I will get better... and thinner now that I am home again!!!

Going to bed to read a while and reflect on being back on the weight loss
train... feeling soooo good

Good morning!
I just updated for my last loss.(from a few days ago)
It took me a while to figure out what you all were doing to change the numbers!
I just was not thinking copy and paste!

I have not lost but I have not gained either.
I have become a very slow loser.
But I am OK with that.
I just make sure I keep under 20 carbs.

I really don't know why I have slowed down.
I am doing the same things I was when I was
losing 2 or 3 pounds a week.
I have tweaked and I am done tweaking.
For me slow and steady wins the race!

Wishing you all a very good day!

Hi Shari!!
com'on in !!
I'm doing the bowl and plate diet look on the Playground for No mesuring, NO counting, No worrying
basically what I do is take the plan yo are most comforatble with and set the portions/mesurments on a 2 cup bowl, 7" divided plate and a 9" divided plate so you dont have to count or mesure anything its done for you.
I lose weight on it when I stick to it BUT(my excuse) DH is an out to eat nut!! I'm a great cook but he likes to go out.

Hi Idioglossic!

What is it about beef?!
I lose when eating it too.
Chicken just doesn't work as well for me.
Too bad because chicken cost so much less!!

I have always loved Jack Russell terriers!
Would love to have one but I have a house cat and house rabbits and
they would object!

Hi Shari,
I am not doing Atkins 72.(I have not read the book)
I have read the latest Atkins book but mostly I just keep my carbs under 20, no sugar, grains and no cheating. I have been greatly influenced by Gary Taubes and many other low carb experts.

Because we were together so much when she got bad and I was alone in her car or mine, I would look at the empty car seat and I would let myself imagine life without her. When the nightmare became real I had to get rid of her car and my car My heart still starts to burn when she comes into my mind and this happens a lot. Putting her picture on here helps me feel her.

For me slow and steady wins the race!

Wishing you all a very good day!
Annabel Lee~

Slow and steady is good. You know, after being on plan for a while it will slow down, a little bit. But, it can be just one tiny thing slowing you down. A stick of SF gum? A taste of sweet?

Can you start posting all of your food in here? I am far from expert but, someone may see something wrong?
If you will do this it might just be a little thing you are consuming that you have not noticed and once you take that little thing away your weight could start to melt off! Veggies were messing me up. Once I backed away from them after being on that book Dr. A did not write, I melted fast!

Have you read the 72 book? The foods he added in DANDR are too much for me to lose on. Things like cream cheese and many other kinds of cheese can slow and can stop weight loss. The cottage cheese would stall me forever. I only eat hard cheeses and I get the cheese with wax when I can find it and afford it.

I am trying to read the DANDR because the first several chapters he wrote reflect back to his many success's in the 20 something years people were on DADR. He too, learned a lot more in those 20 something years! Well it seems this way to me.
Are you eating from the 68 something, list of foods?
I think Dr. Atkins said weight loss can stop with {too many} carbie veggies? Could this be your one little thing?? Do you get hungry???????

Hidden sugars lurk in so many foods!!!

luv~

It is not gross. I thought the same thing!

My first mug is black. The next mugs can have one teas. to one tablespoon. Start slow.

I like it best with HWC and a sf/sweetener. french vanilla is my fave. BUT I am starting to think I need to cut the sf/sweet and the HWC. I would try it black with one teas. to start. Leave your spoon in the mug so you can swirl it around. Hold it in light and it will shimmer like gold! Hold it in the sun and it is the most beautiful shimmering mug of liquid gold I have ever seen!!!!!!
I drank gallons last summer in my pool! And BE CAREFUL it is hot and it can make you not like your first sip if you dont have it swirling when you take your first taste.
A dear friend from another forum, Georgie, sent me my first jar. She lives in California. It was the best of the best and it smells wonderful! I think it started with a N-----
That is when I coined the phrase liquid gold!
Georgie is doing great! She has lost over 100 pounds!!!!! GEORGIE!

Linda B.. she sent me mail last week! She is doing great!!!

Oh I almost forgot! It can upset your stomach. It did help me in the TMI at first. Now I don't even know I am consuming it!

I must eat....BRB....
