I also added a small amount of spring onion as I believe it is lower in carbs than actual onion. When I have made them before I have added a little red chili to the cheese that I put on top instead of in the actual burger...I think they are better this way. |

How many servings does it make? Do you know the carb list? Yea, but the beer is light. It would take me forever to even get a tiny bit relaxed. I did at one thim drink a ton of beer. I have no self cntrol. So for now I will have to forgo it. Some would say I like it too much. The 72' is the one he used after he went public. Did you know he tried this on ppl that had to loss weight fast? I was on the 68 in 72'. I can't make up my mind which one to follow. I recond I am doing both I am almost finished the 72' book.

LCF for 8 weeks, before they will let you use a ticker. I don't mind waiting. I think it really help keep me motivated. In the early 70s I did Weigh Watchers. My mama did it with me and sometimes my sister would do it with us. You know, they changed W.W. so much one can not loss with any speed. In the
70s everything was different. Atkins changed a lot also. Both diets have been altered. Either one is okay for losing. The 72 is the book I am reading now. 68' does not teach you how to stay on the WOE forever. That is the prolble for me. Up until now it has been easy to lose. I just don't have it down as a WOE for the rest of my life. I am upset that a Atkins book was written after he died? Nothing was wrong with his books he wrote until his death. I know its all about money. But there's more here that money. On the atkins site. They will get rid of you or you will fall in head first. No one that has under 40 or less pounds should eat the way the new book tells them to do. And it isn't atkins. On W.W. I lost a pound to three pounds a week. Atkins has always been my choice of food plans. I gained on W.W. 2007~~ |

I was thinking... the 68 version might be good for me if I have a night out or if friends come over... at least I could have a glass of wine and not feel guilty or deprived. I will keep this in mind...I'm sure I could switch for a day if I needed to without causing any probs. I'm just talking myself into a glass of wine, lol.

makemeslim, No not me, The woman that wrote that. I did go on the 68 food list, it was in 1972. That first time on Atkins I lost 17 pounds. I am almost 60 in the picture I have up. I have been trying to find one I took of myself to put up here so everyone will see me as I am today. Haven't had any luck, yet. I will continue to try to find it... In 1972 I was 21. |

I think I've figured out the diarrhea. It's the greens. o.O I didn't have any salad yesterday and today I'm fine. How odd. I also have realized that I've been using too much cream, I've been doing TBS and not tsp. BUT I'm still losing so I'm not going to complain too much. Oops.

Hi everyone, I was woke up at 4am something. It was a thunder clapping morning. I wish all this rain would go away so I could swim.
David made it back with good and bad news. As it is everywhere else, a lot of foreclosures are on the market. Only thing about that is everything is in town. We have not lived in a town since 1973. We love country living! Nothing around where we want to move back to is empty. But we will find something! I have went back to bacon. I know I ate it in 2002, when I lost 112 pounds. At 60, I hope I still can. The brand I have always used ~ Wright~ does have sugar in it. I just don't understand why the food manufacturers have to put SUGAR in so much of the food we eat. ![]() I tell yall this, I'm so peeved at myself for ever going on computer to find atkins!!! Why could I have not found this site first![]() I think I have lost close to 2 pounds this week. It should have been 5 pounds! I am eating meat, eggs, and cheese. That is all I am eating. I guess it is going to take longer than a week to get all that nany out of my body ![]() I am going to get rid of Fat Secrets and go to Fit Day. I am being lazy about just going on and doing it. Lindab whitedov jenna saucie Dee makemeslim I want to send yall a great pound losing week. I will be cheering everyone on staying on a good clean induction, including myself |

I'm down 9 lbs in 4 days. I'm not going to switch it. I'm averaging 2lbs a day, so I figure I'm doing fine. My carb count is around 8-10/day (net) and I'm turning purple on the sticks. I realize that I've bent 72 a touch, and that is ok by me. I'm doing better this way than I did on DANDR.

I'm using ***********. While they are anti-LC, they have an app for my phone (Android). I like that. I did reset my settings on it so I could have my own goals, under 10g carb/day, 100-200g fat and 60-171g protein. I routinely ignore the calorie suggestion.
I mainly pay attention to the carb count. You should eat bacon! Lots of crispy, fatty, bacon! It will help you get into ketosis! Remember, Atkins says not to count calories or fat! The bacon can only help fill you up and increase your fat intake. What about bacon scares you? If it's the salt, just drink more water. You'll be fine.

Sugar??? Gah. Sugar does not belong in bacon. You'll need to find a butcher that sells only smoked bacon, no additives aside from salt. I don't worry about those additives. We buy a whole cow and pig annually. Only my sausage has sugar in it (grrr).

![]() ![]() ![]() I usually cook the pepperoni...I love crispy pepperoni! I use the mayo as a dip. I forgot to add the iced tea to dinner on the last one, I mixed the heavy cream with that. I also added Truvia to that, and I add Truvia to my coffee, but for my own sanity I've stopped listing Truvia on my counts on SP because the carb count is high, but it's all sugar alcohols, and seeing that increase in #'s messes with my head. I have an ED, both over eating and restricting. So seeing those #'s might cause me to 'punish' myself, so it's best for me not to do so. |

Okay~~~ I see what you are doing. You are eating things on Level One;induction. I am glad to see the Romaine salad. I have always thought he meant iceburg. At least on the 68 I think he meant iceburg lettuce. The liver had a lot of carbs. But everything else looks good. This is why you are doing 72 instead of 68, right? And you are losing every week. Thats great! ![]() |
